I seriously owe this place my sight! If i can give it a 100 stars i would! I'm from Ann Arbor and…read morewas at a funeral/burial in Southfield. My eyes started bothering me, i figured i needed some drops (since they felt dry) and figured it was from smudges of mascara i got on my contacts! As i started to drive, it became almost unbearable. I was driving and realized that i shouldn't be. I couldn't keep my eyes open and the sunny bright day was painful. Instead of driving to the hall for the funeral, i called my mom and begged her to grab me eye drops and went to her house. The drops killed. Nothing was making it better. I couldn't close or open my eyes, the pain was excruciating. That is when i decided i needed to see someone and ASAP (as it was nearing end of work day about 2:30pm). Since i don't live in town the first place i called was my Mothers ophthalmologist who unfortunately turned me away (they don't see new patients for emergency's) and told me to head to the ER or urgent care. I knew i needed a specialist and did not have hours to spare! So i came across affiliated eye surgeons and Kristy answered. She asked for my insurance and told me i needed a global referral from my doctor and gave me all the information to give my PCP. She said we will get you in, don't worry. She was amazing and helped me sort everything out! Now i get there and everyone of the staff is extremely nice. I did not wait long before they took me to the exam room where a super sweet lady (sorry i don't recall her name but she was great) did a preliminary exam. When she completed, she took me over to another room. There walks in the sweetest Doctor! Dr. Lindsay Rubin asked me if i was okay and did not scold me about anything but actually sympathized with my pain. She and her assistant Ashley were wonderful. She took a look in my eyes and there it was... a dreaded corneal ulcer in both eyes!!! She told me how important it was to catch early and put me on antibiotics ASAP (1 drop per eye every two hours). She told me to notify her ASAP if it doesn't get better. She told me she would call me Saturday morning to confirm that it was healing. She even suggested to give my info to an ophthalmologist in Ann Arbor to follow up. Since we need to do many visits in a short period of time to stop it from doing long term damage. I refused the polite transfer. She was incredible and caring and her bedside manner can't be beat! Plus she knew what was going on and i wanted to be in the best hands, so i will be driving from Ann Arbor to see her for my follow up bright and early Monday morning. They all did such a wonderful job and i am so thankful to them as i could have lost sight in both eyes!! I will never go anywhere else! I will be going to the practice from now on for everything! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! I actually felt well enough today to look at my phone and write this book on how amazing you all are! It's all thanks to you!!!

The building was well maintained and I haven't seen more than 2 people waiting at a time so I know they're efficient. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the bill I got in the mail confused me a bit. They say you can pay online at 2 different sites, and the main one they highlight is not a real website. I'm also confused as to why the bill is from "warren urgent care walk-in clinic" but the business is "Doctors Urgent Care". Also, on the website where you pay, it doesn't show the balance due. It just lets you enter in whatever amount. I can't even tell if I'm paying the right establishment and how much is left on the tab. Do yourself a favor and PAY IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE.

My fiancé went in thru ER with shortness of breath. At one point he dropped to the floor in the…read morerestroom and his oxygen went way down. Dr. Kenney and the nurses and respiratory techs (I can't remember all the names!) literally ran to him and six or seven people had to wrestle him to get the oxygen mask on because he was out of his mind. He was admitted (yes it takes hours, but while we waited for a room he was alive and getting treatment.) Turns out he had clots in his lungs and legs. They kept at it until they got an answer and fixed it. Four or five doctors were consulted on his case. Was it pneumonia? Was it a heart problem?, etc. While he was in the hospital he had neighbors who screamed at the staff calling them names and generally being crazy. There was another patient who attempted suicide and they got to him or her in time. There was another patient who barfed in the hall and said "F**k you'", well, you get the idea. Give them a break. It's a 12 hour shift and if you are polite they will bend over backwards to help you anywhere in that hospital. I've been there, my mom has been there my whole family, and they have always been helpful and have gotten to the bottom of things. Be polite. More flies with honey and all that. Grow up. They are spread around the metro area so you shouldn't have to go too far. We have used this location a few times in the past but it has been a while. There is no appointment needed but they also include the ability to sign up online to hold your place in the walk-in line. It also shows you how long the estimated wait time is. When you arrive you need to sign in at the counter or by using the kiosk nearby. Then you have a seat and check the electronic screen showing your place in line. I have never experienced longer wait times than they originally estimated. I have used the online system but mostly I just show up. The staff, including the doctors and nurses, are all professional, polite, and very competent in my experience; they quickly discuss your issue and get to the cause and solutions.
