My eyesight was compromised and I needed experienced individuals for my after surgery care. Naturally, I was extremely cautious in trusting my sight with, yet, another stranger. I was originally slated to see Dr. Simone. An emergency arouse and I had the option of rescheduling for a later date or seeing Dr. Varanelli at roughly the same time and date. Fate is a strange thing. Now, I won't see any other ophthalmologist. The minute I met the doctor I became at ease. He has an incredible way about him. Very calming and polite. A funny man that's the utmost professional. I learned about different tests he performs. He has the ability to provide insight to my overall health by looking in the back of my eyes (I believe there's a small pun in that last sentence). The staff there is very accommodating and efficient. I worked with Emily today and it was good times. I can't tell you wether or not she is great at her job or using that high-tech Star Trek looking stuff the right way. But I passed all my tests with flying colours so I guess she's wonderful. Great news in that my eyes are almost exactly as screwed up as last year, no worse! Yay! I was also given a coffee mug full of candy on the way out. Thank you, Simone eye. C U next year! I had difficulty seeing and he stated that I needed the cataract surgery. I had the surgery as he recommended for my visual difficulties. It was not helpful but he did not care as he ran out of the office room stating, "I have other patients." I have problems with my eyes and he did not care and he continues to have not concern about my situation. When I returned to his office to speak with his staff he had the hallway of his office suite filled with his customers and no one would talk to me. Some of those people in the hallway had dressing over their eyes. Nome of the people from his office would speak to me.....

Dr. Crane's assistant prepped me for the exam and Dr. Shannon Crane performed my actual eye exam. She was very informative and went over all the tests with me, making sure I understood everything. I took my prescription to the front room and had a LARGE variety of glasses to choose from. In the past I've gone to Warby Parker, but it was refreshing to have the option of so many designer glasses. After trying several on with the help from Hanna - I made my choice. They are helpful, patient and really work to make sure your needs are met. I've referred my husband and will continue to offer them as an option w/friends.

Probably about a year and a half ago it really started going downhill. I got a flu shot that bled like I'd been stabbed... it dripped down all the way down my arm and onto the exam table. (have literally never bled more than a drop or 2 from a shot before, so I do not think it was done correctly). Routinely was waiting 30+ mins in waiting room. The last straw was when I had testing done at a speciality office and waited 3 weeks before following up on the results. Once I called, they said they added a note for the doctor to call me to discuss results. I waited another week - nothing. I called again and was told that my test results were "misplaced" and that they didn't have them.... So instead of them calling the office where this testing occurred to get the results (that THEY 'misplaced') they did nothing. I called the testing office and had them re-fax over my results. I waited another 2 weeks before following up (they NEVER took the initiative to call me with my results). This place is horrible. Never going back and would not recommend to anyone, EVER.
