I have been to this urgent care a few times for various things and realized I never wrote a review. This is one of the best urgent cares around! I live in Sterling Heights and still drive here if I need to be seen for something. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a nice young man who updated all my information since I have gotten married. From each person I had an encounter with from the nurse, to the X-ray technician and P.A. I couldn't be happier with how I was treated. Everyone was so kind and helpful!! They treat you how you should be treated when seeking medical attention. I needed a few X-rays done and all turned out well. Anyone needing any type of urgent medical care this is an excellent place to go!

Went here for COVID tests. We waited less than five minutes and they had results back the next day. Thanks so much!

The best care with a true family atmosphere in my opinion! My PCP (Dr. Saleh), addiction specialist and therapist are all wonderful here.

I was greeted by friendly front desk, only one other person in the waiting room got called back right as I entered. After I completed new patient forms was called back maybe 5 minutes later. Nurse/tech was great, friendly, quick and professional. 5 minutes later in an exam room, less than 10 minutes the doc walked in, I was actually a bit surprised. Auditory chest exam, explained treatment options for acute bronchitis (oral steroid optional but I'm going on my honeymoon in a week so I need to get healthy!) and prescriptions e-mailed so there's no possible misinterpretation or mis-dosage. Out in about 30 minutes-a new record for me. Lovely staff, clean, quiet, and thorough. My new neighborhood go-to walk-in.

Waited 20 minutes in an empty lobby--which is honestly fast for this location--and was seen by a nurse, who took all of the patient history and symptoms. When the PA came in later--I don't know if they even have any doctors on staff despite their advertisements because I know I've never seen one--she asked all the same questions again to a nearly unconscious, lethargic, and crying patient. It was three minutes before she said "go see a neurologist," gave us a phone number for Beaumont's cardiac care, and was ready to walk out the door without explaining her reasoning or thought process for any of it. Again, no doctors on staff to prescribe medication. I've been put through the wringer with the healthcare system since I was eight years old. Strokes, surgery, epilepsy, every different kind of "therapy" there is in Medical School 101. I've seen blunt doctors, mean doctors, doctors who are too careful and end up misdiagnosing in unneeded precaution. But Carol Greer was none of these things; she admitted she wasn't interested in pursuing any further testing because "you guys came to the urgent care." The more I learn about Corewell, the more I hate it. Between the mass firings, union busting, and tele-doctors, I would have been better off driving to Detroit or Ann Arbor and getting help. In the past, I've spent hours in this building only to be shunted off to the ER or given two tablets of Tylenol to take with dinner, so don't expect anything other than that. I hate to sound like a Karen, but if you're thinking about coming here, just go to Royal Urgent Care, Henry Ford, or honestly your family member who's a doctor instead; you'd get better advice out of Doc McStuffins than you'd get from here.

One of the things you do NOT want to be when you're on your Christmas break is SICK. BUT if you're…read moreunfortunate enough to BE sick then, the next best thing is to find a good urgent care facility to go to that would be patient and compassionate enough to understand your urgent needs. Such is Hoover Urgent Care. They have only been at this location for a little over two years so the building still "smells" like new and the facility was SPOTLESS as any healthcare facility SHOULD BE. I walked in because of a persistent cough that would not go away for several days already and causing me to lose some sleep at night. I arrived there with several people ahead of me, half of whom have children under 5. I was promptly greeted at the door and my information was taken. True that I have to wait long (about an hour I think) BUT when my name was called, it took me less than 20 minutes to be seen by the doctor and get my prescription written. Dr. Bruce was attentive and the med assistant was business-like but approachable. I would like to say I will be back but you really don't want to say that when it comes to this kind of facility so let me say this: IF I ever need to make a trip to an Urgent Care again (knock on wood), I know where I will be going.

The sooner you arrive, the faster your service will be. I always am in & out if i got at 8am (when…read morethey open). The staff is polite & moves with urgency.
