The staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. The shop is small, so you will need to grab and go with your order. I've tried 3 different flavors now, and have not been disappointed yet. They rotate their flavors, so check back to see what's new each week. The quiche is really good as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the hand pies, but that may be a personal preference. They're only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so make sure you get there early because they do sell out!

I got the pumpkin spice to go with my pumpkin spice donut, and it wasn't overly sweet. My husband got the salted caramel coffee, but his coffee was on the sweeter side which neither of us enjoyed. We also got my kid a chocolate donut and she loved it. The shop is cute and has a little bit of seating and has plenty of windows to look out of if you stay at the shop to enjoy your treats. So why did I give them a 3? And why was this hard to write? This is America, we have the ability to sell what we want and do what we want. But as a woman of color I will probably not go to the shop anymore because of who they chose to honor with one of their donuts, I'll just keep it there.

Since I was a newbie, he invited me to take my time looking at the beautiful pastries in the case and let him know when I was ready. The pumpkin treat is so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it, but am happy that I did. It had a delicious coating on the outside and light fluffy pastry cream on the inside. There was also a small piece of chocolate cake and of course pumpkin cream inside. The tres leches was some of the best I've had and I am a tres leches fiend. This tres leches actually tasted as though it truly had been made with 3 milks. To my delight, neither treat was overly sweet. This is definitely a special place making standout treats.
