Our family is very respected in our community our church everywhere and I have never ever in my entire life been spoken to like I was by these two women passing the buck one to the other transferring me because nobody wants to deal with it. 8 months ago they doubled down our delivery request and we gave them no issues about it at all we told them don't worry about it we understand mistakes happen no big deal just give us a little extra time to pay it please and they told us no problem it wouldn't impede on us getting another delivery. However here we are 7 months and one week later and they're telling me that they won't bring us a delivery for the $248 that's left on our account that is due Even though three days ago we just paid them $250. We explained we have children in the house we have no oil we've had a good reputation with them for 7 years and the woman would not even consider letting us speak to the owner to see if we can get a delivery. Then they tell me that I can't speak to Amy that both of the bosses are not in and that there's no direct phone number or email to reach the owner of the company. And I am just honestly blown away that we were so polite to them we didn't make them come pump the oil back out we didn't make them dismiss the money off the account because it's their mistake that they made but here we are having some hardship right before school starts for our children and they won't even meet us halfway they won't let us speak to the owner nothing. And I know that these women have worked here for quite some time but they really need to reconsider hiring some younger more polite people that are going to work with customers that have been with them for a long time this actually brought me to tears because we will now be paying them the $250 and closing our account with them and telling everybody our story everybody in our community that uses them that loves our family loves our children knows what good people we are businesses should not be ran like this and women that have attitudes should not be allowed to speak on customer service ends. So, I cancelled the current appoint and the next appointment the following day. Wow! can you imagine needing gas in the heart of winter and freezing to death while waiting for the truck to come? After serving 22 years in the Marines, I would say that I am disgusted by this company and their lack of ethics and pride in serving their community. Customer Care in frigid weather in Otsego County: Monday at 8:00 AM we ordered oil to be delivered…read morein "3 business days - the day of order doesn't count." But Tuesday we ran out of oil @ 8:00 AM. So we swore a little and paid an extra $199 to have a "special delivery" After a full day of freezing, Blue Ox drove 1 mile down East River Road from Weavers Farm Market, where they regularly deliver oil every Tuesday. It was 6:00 PM. The "special delivery" was a 1 mile detour of their route at the end of the day. I feel Blue Ox took advantage of us - I feel that the Blue Ox schedulers don't give a f*ck about customers (Weaver's is 1 mile away and gets oil every Tuesday - how much effort to add our address to the delivery) Blue Ox didn't do anything "special". And that said -- $199 for delivery at 10:00 AM would have been acceptable. Paying $199 for 10 hours of misery is not acceptable. When complaining -- Blue Ox said "All we guarantee is same day delivery." -- I would like to SWEAR at them mightily -- but I need their oil to get through these horrible winters/
