Very impressed! Where do I begin…read more I thought about writing about my horrific experience with my previous dental office (Gentle Dental) that led me here, but this is where I want to Praise Dr. Elkhal and his amazing team. Long story short I was told that I needed a tooth extracted and that I needed to have implants in place at the cost of 4k. First they said they could retreat and then later decided it wasn't an option. I needed a second opinion and sought out another dental office. I ended up at Rose City dental. (Highly recommend Rose City as well) They referred me to Endodontics Limited. I had been in a lot of pain and was told that the only way out of my pain was extraction. Dr. Elkhal worked me in same day due to my special circumstances with pain. I noticed the difference immediately. The friendly receptionist who cared about my visit. Not just processing paperwork. The calming environment was a change from other offices I had been to. Dr. Elkhal brought me in and performed an evaluation and agreed that there was an infection but due to incredible swelling and current pain he would recommend to wait until the swelling went down. His evaluation led him to believe that the root canal could indeed be retreated and he wanted to save the tooth. I was prescribed antibiotics and we scheduled. The procedure went extremely well. I have had a few root canals and this one was by far the best. Dr. Elkhal is a true professional. It comes through in his explanation of the process. He explained step by step what we were doing to and why. I have never experienced this level of service from anyone in this industry. I am a Service Manager of an automotive service department and appreciate and recognize what Dr. Elkhal and his staff are providing. If you are in need of a root canal, I highly encourage you to seek out Dr. Elkhal! You will not be disappointed.

I've visited the office a few times now, and each time the staff has been kind and understanding about my anxiety. The first appointment was to see what needed fixing. The second was a cleaning, which went perfectly, the tech recognized my high sensitivity and adjusted the pressure while removing hard plaque. The third visit was a bit more eventful. I was scheduled to have a few cavities removed, and everything was going smoothly until I started feeling pain while the dentist worked on my left canine. Then, with tooth eleven (I think), I felt the sharpest stab of pain, it wasn't the dentist's fault, but I flinched from the shock and told them I might need more numbing. They understood but said we'd have to reschedule since there wasn't enough time to finish. I agreed, though it felt a little awkward since my previous dentist would usually block out more time for such work. One of the techs later applied either a bonding agent or acid etch, which sent another jolt of pain through my tooth. Someone even commented they hadn't started the filling yet and asked if I'd need more numbing. I declined, not wanting to take more of their time, though I appreciated their concern. Overall, it was a positive experience. It was the first time I'd had that much pain during a dental visit, but I'm not sure if it was just me that day or if the medication wore off.

They finished working on the canine, but when they started working on the tooth that wasn't numb, they said a new appointment would need to be scheduled. The appointment was scheduled, but they had to cancel it because they said verification was needed because of the medication that may interact with other medications. The medication was provided to me three times at this dental office and four times at another dental office. They didn't want to continue to work on my teeth if a verification from my primary care wasn't provided beforehand. This highly disappointed me because of the high regard I gave the dental team and it should be the responsibility of the dental office to complete a tooth that they started working on, but didn't finish. So it was critical that the job was done right or it could break a very expensive bridge! Today is the morning after and my bridge is in fine shape, and no more throbbing pain! After hurting for a solid month, Dr. Baumgarth gave me an emergency appointment in just a couple days. They were all sweet and compassionate and let my boyfriend sit next to me the whole time. I took the sedative drugs for dental anxiety, and apparently asked the poor Dr the same question 15 times...but I don't remember! My boyfriend says he was so patient and answered me every time anyway. Thank you everyone at Mt Scott Endodontics for taking such good care of me and my bridge

We were referred because my daughter has severe dental anxiety and her regular dentist felt she would have a better experience with a specialist. We made the appointment in advance and I clearly expressed her need for nitrous oxide and it was noted in her account. The day we showed up for the appointment they failed to tell us they were out of nitrous oxide, which was part of her treatment plan to help her be comfortable. They began her treatment took x-rays and then told us, they did not have any more nitrous oxide, putting her on the spot and trying to convince her she would be OK without what she needed to be comfortable. After a lot of uncomfortable conversation my daughter and I spoke up and decided to reschedule. They then insisted we pay right then and there for the portion of her treatment they claimed to have completed, but if we had been informed properly, we would not have had him begin treatment. We were never given the opportunity to make an informed choice before he began treatment. We have ultimately decided to go elsewhere for treatment and I feel very strongly they should not have charged us for anything since it was their error. I have asked them to please refund my payment. Needless to say they do not feel the same way.

Coming to the office in pain and with severe PTSD from a former dental event, this caring team really took care of me. The anesthetics specialist Enid, was so good, I felt none of the medication application. No pain at all. Dr. Boyd's chairside assistants also walked me through what was occurring as it happened. Very professional. Not only did my Dentist refer me. 2 other clients friend and my favorite Grocery cashier had high praises for Doug Boyd. Caring and gentle while working. He also explained all aspects of procedure. He called me "Himself" -the day after each service, to check on me. That really made me know he was invested in my wellfare. The front desk crew helped me with insurance and financing options. Very affordable emergency, turned out. Thank you Dr. Boyd and team. You successfully cured my ailing tooth and healed my failing trust in the dental chair. I'm thankful you are here for the community.

I would highly recommend going there if you need one done.

He was the only one of three who were recommended to me by my dentist who was actually still seeing patients. I had no one to drive me and was concerned about driving home after my root canal (my second ever). How would I feel? Not only was Dr. Baumgarth very professional and warm but his staff was the same. He treated them with respect and you got the feeling that although they did a lot of root canals, they enjoyed working there. The procedure took less than an hour. I felt no pain and afterwards, I took only two doses of acetominophen for pain. Amazing!! I didn't feel kicked in the face. It was relatively wonderful. The drive afterwards was just fine, too. No grogginess, I felt confident driving home. *The only thing that I would have liked is to have had some headphones to listen to while they were working away. Other than that, I highly recommend and would definitely see these folks again with no hesitation!!

Was referred here by my current dentist. First time visiting Mt Scott Endo. The receptionist was…read moreextremely rude to me from the get go. She gave me attitude when I asked about a credit plan. She told me that I should've created my account before the appointment. I told her I was unaware, I was sorry and I really appreciate her doing this. She wouldn't even look at me. She told me I always mention that on the phone when you make your appointment you must've missed it. I work in HR. I am a very organized person. I made the appointment in my office and had a pen and paper in hand to record all details. Payment was not mentioned during that phone call. I am aware I should've asked when I booked my appointment but my previous office said everyone has care credit and I shouldn't have any problems. She said in a nasty tone that she would need more my ss#, I said no problem I'm ready when you are. She would wait to ask me questions when I was walking away to grab my ID or a tissue. I eventually asked her do you need more information from me or are we good, so that I can talk to her face to face. The whole energy in the office was so off. It felt like an angry older sister that was screwing with me. Saying very polite sentences in a passive aggressive tone. It's really all confusing and unprofessional. I am very scared of needles and was on the verge of tears the whole time I was in the office. I was polite. I don't understand why a person would treat someone so cruel. I will die of a tooth infection before I would ever go back. I can't trust the doctor if the receptionist is going to treat me so poorly. I'm reconsidering my main dentist office now because they referred me here. Such a horrible experience. My fiancé called the office afterwards to talk with the practice manager and it was the same receptionist who answered. She hung up on him twice just for asking that question. Now she won't answer the phone. My fiancé was not rude or hostile with her at all, but she continued to hang up on him. I have never had a medical office knowingly hang up on someone, multiple times, and then refuse to answer when they are just asking to speak with someone. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed from a medical office! Truly an insane experience. There are plenty of endodontist's around. Look into other offices and don't blindly take a referral like I did.
