It's been twice that I got unexpected bills…read more Basically the clinic does all the treatments they want and doesn't care what your insurance covers. After the check-up, they just bill you everything. Of course, they do ask you if you want the treatment or not. However, it's the PATIENT'S responsibility to know which benefit cover every year, every six months or no cover. If you don't know your insurance coverage, but you choose to do it. It's YOUR responsibility. They will not tell you this insurance covers or not because they don't look up ahead of time until they are doing their billing. They only care if they get paid. Same thing for returning. They don't care if you have previous records or not, and they don't want it. So, they can charge you if the insurance doesn't cover. Based on the billing lady said, "It's YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know your coverage and which date what benefit you have used." The billing lady also said, "If you have any problem to pay in full, the doctors are very nice. They allow to make monthly payments." even though I could avoid those charges. By the way, the billing statement only shows the ending balance and doesn't have the detailed billing if the records of billing and the insurance payments are in different months. I guess I just had been so lucky that I didn't need to watch my insurance coverage so closely until now. Even though the doctors and hygienists are nice, they don't know why they cannot keep the patients because this kind of things the billing lady won't tell any one in the clinic. Or, that's the way they run the clinic. I just don't know.

Not having had any dental insurance for over 10 years, I hadn't seen a dentist in at least that long. I still don't have insurance, but I did have a broken and painful tooth, so I budgeted carefully to have it pulled. All I can say is if you are looking for a good dentist, this is the one you're looking for. The ladies were wonderful and so friendly. I got a timely appt, I did my paperwork online, they sent me appt reminders, and I did not wait a single second in the lobby past my appt start time. Dr. John Schilt was right on that tooth as soon as the xrays and initial exam by the assistant, whose name I may have forgotten, were completed. He deadened the area with no pain at all, and extracted that bad tooth in just minutes, NO PAIN!. I got a 5% discount for cash or check....who can argue? Dr. Schilt and every one of his lovely ladies were so friendly, but also professional at the same time. The office was clean and nice & cool. I have not one negative thing to say.
