More than 10/10 recommend. I went to this dentist for years. Shilo was always my hygienist. Not…read moreonly is she one of the sweetest people I know but she is really good at what she does. Thorough yet still gentle. Never once have I felt uncomfortable with her which is apparently a big deal to me. They stopped taking my insurance and I was devastated to switch. After two year at another local place, I decided to come back and pay out of pocket because I loved it so much. After my first visit back I am reminded of what a blessing this place is from the front office ladies, hygienists, to the dentists. Some things are just not replaceable and the family you feel here is one of a kind.

I was lucky my hygenist was professional and did a good job with all this going on around her. I had made an appointment with Dr Jorgensen and while you are lead to believe he is the only dentist there as his is the only name on the sign outside the building there is actually another dentist. I didn't get his name but he did my exam after cleaning because Dr Jorgensen was with another patient. I don't know about you but I like to be in control of my healthcare. I get irritated when I make an appointment with one doctor and am seen by another doctor. I like to be in control and don't want to be seen by one guy this time and the other guy the next time. I will probably switch dentists as a result.

I had an amazing experience with CWOFS, I can't recommend the team there enough and am very pleased…read moreby the results. Full details below. CONSULTATION: Coming from a family of men with chiseled jawlines, I had always felt pretty subconscious with a weak chin. I hated that it gave me a round baby face. I also have a pretty horrible teeth grinding habit. My dad mentioned that a sliding genioplasty might improve both and referred me to Dr. Johnson. I was comfortable through the whole process, Jeremiah laid out my options. Never once did I feel any kind of pressure to make to do anything. PROCEDURE: When I went for the procedure, the staff were very friendly and had great bedside manner. Everything went well, I went under easily and woke up on the other side. The facilities were clean and comfortable. RECOVERY: I had the procedure on a Friday, took Saturday and Sunday to recover and was able to work remotely the next week Mon-Fri. I had a bit of a lisp for the first two weeks or so because of the numbness to my lower lip. The pain actually wasn't bad, the worst part of my recovery process was the digestive side effects I experienced from the Oxy. If I could do it again, I would have avoided taking it as much as possible. My post-op with Dr. Johnson went well, he walked me through how things went and set expectations for recovery. You can tell he loves what he does and has a high level of care throughout the process. I found him thanking me almost as I was thanking him, just shows his humility and love of the craft. I was back to work the second week into the recovery process and still was a bit swollen but not enough to stay home from work. I had told people I was getting surgery but was pleasantly surprised no one noticed/asked about swelling. My lower lip and chin were pretty numb/tingly and a bit immobilized for a a month or two afterwards. I'd say it took roughly 4 months or so for everything to feel 100% normal. OUTCOME: I'm so happy that I went through with the procedure. It's been a huge confidence-booster. I've received so many compliments from family and coworkers that goes something like "You look great! Did you lose some weight?" I'll still catch a look in the mirror or in a picture and be surprised with how good my jaw looks when I would have been so self-conscious about it before. I'm so thankful to Dr. Johnson and the CWOFS team for that!

Do not visit this office whatever you do. If you are poor,…read morethey WILL treat you like dirt. Talk to everyone else about this and they will say that this is their reputation because it is. These are the dentist that actually make real dentist look bad. These dentists are the reason people don't go to the dentist and why there is a stigma and a stereotype. This office right here. I had been having a dental infection for THREE YEARS on and off. I broke down in the ER weeks ago and called this office and was told by the call center supervisor Julie to go to the ER in Richland and that there was a dental surgeon that contracted with them that could help me. I went to the ER and they looked at me like I was stupid because it was a stupid thing to do because it's not true. They sent me away and then I went back to the ER later that night because I'm in pain. Horrible pain that makes me want to end my life. Horrible pain that I have been dealing with for three f****** years. So would emergency consultation was scheduled for Monday morning and I was told that I did not have to have anybody with me in that I could be dropped off. I show up. All of a sudden one thing can't happen. And then another thing can't happen. And then it turns out someone was actually supposed to stay with me and not drop me off. It is my emergency but I am working with the schedule of my ride. What is so hard to understand or consider around that? And why is that the thing that prevented my care? Not having someone with me WHEN YOU YOURSELF SAID THAT I COULD BE DROPPED OFF. IF YOU HAD TOLD ME AT THE ER THAT I NEEDED SOMEONE WITH ME THEN THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED BUT YOU SAID I COULD BE DROPPED OFF AND THEN YOU TURNED ME AWAY BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE SOMEONE WITH ME AND YOU DID NOT ALLOW ME TO RESCHEDULE. My friends have a life, like everyone else, and this is not their emergency. The earliest I could reschedule to fit in a time where my friend could be with me was Friday. Dr Cooper I think it is told me that this is an emergency and it needs to happen that day and if it's not happening then it's not going to happen. And doctor, YOU may not think that I am important enough to reschedule for but my friends do think that I am important enough to schedule around. What you think of my worth does not define who I am as a person and I think that you are a worthless dentist and doctor for that reasoning. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you are. I pray that you are. Cuz then at least, maybe there's some humanity in you? Maybe. I have fantasized everyday about throwing myself off the blue bridge because I am still in pain. After you turned me away, after you refuse to see me because I left two negative reviews because you turned me away while I was in emergency dental pain, yeah I do think of you when I fantasize about throwing myself off the damn bridge because I felt so f****** worthless and small when I left your office. You showed me that my pain and my trauma is completely insignificant. So why would anybody care. I'm sure you're going to laugh when you read this but I did have to go get help so that I didn't end my f****** life over this. You are dirty for that. Julie I truly hope that you are terminated from your position because what of a waste of space you are in it. I left in tears and sobbing because they refused to reschedule me. I called there a couple weeks ago because I still have a dental infection and I am still in pain and I was told by Julie that they would not be rescheduling me because I left two negative reviews. Thanks Julie. The same one who told me to go to the ER and that there would be a dentist there to help me is the same one who told me that they're not going to further schedule me anymore. Did I get you in trouble? Or did you get yourself in trouble? Consider this a third one Julie. I hope you get fired because you are a horrible person. If any of you take the sacrament- you shouldn't. I pray that it rots in your mouth the way you let other people rot in their pain. Also I noticed the string of fake five-star reviews after I left my review on Google but there's no string of fake five stars here. Guess you're going to be busy for the next 2 weeks making those ones too.

Highly recommend Yakima Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery!…read more After researching other practices and seeing too many sketchy reviews, I decided to go to the reputable Dr. Kevin Hudson to extract my wisdom teeth. I am extremely happy I did. He's very sincere and very experienced, making you feel assured that you're in good hands. He walks you through the process step by step very thoroughly so you know what to expect. My surgery was over in a blink. I could tell that my very overgrown wisdom teeth were carefully taken out and I was stitched up perfectly. You are given everything needed for the recovery process. I was even checked up on later to see how I was doing, and I healed up great. Don't hesitate to go here if you need oral surgery!!

The person who brought her out after her tooth extraction specifically told me that she would get a refund on the bill due to not having a drainage of an infection done. Months later, my mother received a bill in the mail with a remaining balance that INCLUDED the fee for drainage of the infection (that didn't happen) so I called and spoke to Robin. She claims that she looked over the notes and apologized for that not being corrected and that she would have to resubmit to insurance and that her bill would be significantly less than the one she received. Again, MONTHS LATER I had to reach back out to them and ask what the current bill is after that procedure was removed. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes, then Robin got back on the phone and explained that my mother is still being charged for that procedure because doctor did confirm that it was done! This is bs because twice they confirmed to me that it wasn't done and my mother will NOT be charged for it, then all of the sudden she still owes a $450 bill because they changed their mind!! This is terrible of them to do this to an elderly woman. So disgusting and disappointing!!

Howdy -- we've been patients at Lakeside Dental for about 2 years. Unfortunately, I believe we are…read morenow forced to move on. Honestly, I think this is for the best, and here's why. I came to Lakeside Dental after being a patient here before, even receiving a root canal in the past. This time, I was in severe pain after battling symptoms for months, hoping for answers and relief. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude, no empathy, and a quote that was far higher than a competitor's. Through a second opinion, I later learned I actually needed three extractions, two failed root canals, and a cracked tooth--all of which are now being replaced with implants. At Lakeside, I was told it was "just one failed root canal" and that it was infected. This was presented as the explanation for the headaches, sinus issues, and flu‑like symptoms I'd been experiencing off and on, missing work, and seeing my doctor without answers. I had a cleaning scheduled, the pain had become unbearable in the days leading up to it. At the appointment, after X‑rays, I was told I had one failed root canal and until I decided how to proceed, I would get no antibiotics, no pain medication, and no treatment unless I paid $4,000 upfront--even for a simple extraction. I was told, "we can accept two payments, but it must be paid in full before removal." Sitting in the chair in pain and being told this, felt frustrating but I understand . That night I went to the ER, where I was finally given pain medication and antibiotics to hold me over until I could see another dentist. A few days later, I got a second opinion. That dentist actually listened. He found the real source of my pain--a cracked lower molar, not the upper tooth Lakeside focused on. He also diagnosed two failed root canals, one of which had been done at Lakeside the previous year. He charged $900 per tooth after insurance, worked with me on getting it done right and made sure I had an understanding , gave me antibiotics, and removed the cracked tooth. My pain was gone immediately. If I had followed Lakeside's plan, I would have paid $4,000 to remove the wrong tooth, then another $4,000 for the actual tooth causing pain, and another $4,000 once the second failed root canal was discovered--a total of $12,000 out of pocket after insurance. Instead, my second provider resolved all three teeth for about $4,000 total After insaurance Meanwhile, Lakeside continues to act like they don't understand my frustration. I didn't initiate contact--they reached out to me about scheduling repair work. I responded that I went with a second opinion and explained why. now we're multiple texts and getting into emails, the office keeps boiling this down to a "miscommunication" over $4,000 with insurance vs. $6,000 without insurance. That completely misses the point. The real issue is that I came in sick and in pain, and was dismissed. I even had to go to the ER the same night after my appointment, adding another $2,000 to the cost of being ignored. a month later, I was texted again asking when I wanted to schedule repair work, i responded i went with the 2nd option and why and the replies were basically, "well, we were $4k." To me this is not just about money But a $12,000 difference is huge . And more importantly having the right tooth addressed ! Imagine buying a car that's exactly the same as the other one. Not only is it $12,000 more affordable, but it also comes with amazing customer service And when you have a problem with the car they fix the right parts. The issue is that I came in sick and in pain, and was dismissed. Without a second opinion, I would still be suffering. Out a bunch of money right before holidays . Even looking at my chart, Lakeside only noted one failed root canal, while the second opinion discovered more. This is not just about numbers--it's about me as a patient. That is the core of my complaint, and why I cannot recommend Lakeside Dental. I gave two stars because I appreciate a clean facility and the friendly staff. However, they lost a point on customer satisfaction, another on price, and another on the back-and-forth messaging.
