And with that, we bought the previous owners god-only-knows-what-else on the carpet. Not that the carpet was gross or anything... but, it did have some stains and a couple dirty spots. So we thought we'd have them cleaned before we get our own dogs slobber and feet oils all over them. Imperial to the rescue! I called them up and scheduled an appointment (which they were on time for). They came with their super sucky (my word, not theirs) van and sucked up all the god-only-knows-what-else out of my carpets. Oh, and they cleaned an area rug for me too, which apparently, really needed it (see pic). OK dogs, now get to messing up that clean carpet... I'll call Imperial Carpet Cleaning again!

Nate was very friendly and excellent in ensuring we were happy with the results. We unfortunately had a poo-acoplyse from our 60+ pound dog, which caused us to have to have our carpets cleaned about 2 months after our original cleaning. Although the reasoning was not ideal, the results were fantastic- awful stains were gone without a trace and any residual odors were non-existent. The only down side we have had is that they do not have an "emergency" cleaning available. Although 1 week for service is typically fantastic, it was a long week to wait to professionally get the poo-acoplyse cleaned up.

Three days after the carpet cleaning, I noticed a spot on carpet they cleaned that smelled mildewy. I spent the next month researching and trying every remedy (vinegar, baking soda, oxy clean, etc) that I could find recommendations for to get rid of the smell. According to my research, this is a common issue if the water is not fully removed during the cleaning process. Finally, I called Adelman. The person who answered was rude and condescending and refused to acknowledge that this might have been caused by the water not being fully removed from the area affected. I got the same run-around that a previous reviewer did about some hidden stain being "activated". I know the difference between pet and mold smells. I requested that they come and reclean the area. They said they would be charging me again. I asked to speak to someone else and was told the "office manager" would call me back. That was two weeks ago and I have not received a call. Adleman says they stand behind their work, but clearly they do not. I will now have to pay another company to fix their mistake or else replace the carpet and pad that was ruined by their negligence. If you hire them and things go well, you will be pleased as I was in the past. But if there is an issue, good luck getting it resolved.
