I'm typing something and imagine my surprise as a harsh blast of air is blasted into my window. My ground-level, back yard window that had nothing from the gutter cleaning ordered on it with nothing else on the side of my house blasted. Imagine my surprise as I see one of the cleaners nearly nose-to-glass with my window grinning like an idiot as my cat - who had been fairly curiously watching - flees in a panic from the sudden loud noise. I don't think they saw me from behind my monitors and with the glare on the window, but they certainly saw the sun-lit cat in the window watching them before they decided to scare the poor thing. If that's the kind of people you're hiring that delight in the torment of animals, nobody should support this service.

I was advised (although I heard 8:30), the owner corrected me (Andrew) and said that was a range from x point to x point. I heard either 8:30 or 10:30 so I suspect when 10:30 came I would receive a call. There was no phone call or any acknowledgement from the company. At approximately 1ish, the owner Andrew texted and said he was on his way and then called said he was here. I said, oh, I thought you would be here at 8:30? So a back and forth ensued and inquired "why didn't you call to say you would be late". Andrew indicated he was sick and he was there for just an estimate and didn't feel like he needed to call. I was quite surprised as it is my time as well as his. At this point I am frustrated and I can feel that we are not communicating well. I didn't understand why an owner of a company said " If you don't want to do business I am plenty busy, I can just go". Then Andrew asked me if I have ever received window washing services before, I said yes but I don't remember the company. It was a long time ago. He said how did they do, I said ok, but the inside window and I pointed to my bedroom was out of wack because they lifted it and put it back in incorrectly. They tried to fix it-It works but gets stuck. Andrew is quizzing me and I honestly can't remember the name of the company. I was taken aback a bit because he said, "Well you probably won't be happy with us". I had no idea what that meant. Then he said what do you want an estimate on. I said if he could give me just an estimate on the top portion. He said, no we only do the whole home or 350 .00 min. Just the top would probably costs 150.00 and I have employees and and office to maintain. I was really surprised and would have asked further questions but he said "we are not a good fit" and got in his car. I respect that fact that the owner made the effort to come although not feeling well , however, I am not ok with being treated like I did something wrong. I did nothing wrong except wait for Andrew to come and give me an estimate in a timely manner with respect and dignity.
