When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.

Update following the company's response:…read more I want to clarify one point raised in the owner's reply so readers understand the concern accurately. Yes, I mentioned that I would prefer the panels be placed on the rear of the home if possible. That was simply an aesthetic preference and not a design requirement. I relied on the company's expertise to determine whether that placement would still allow the system to reasonably meet the goals discussed during the sales process. I also want to be clear that the system functioning is not the issue. We appear to agree that the equipment is producing energy as designed. The production numbers themselves have never been what I questioned. The concern I raised relates to how the system size and expectations were presented during the sales process. When we explored going solar, the conversations centered around offsetting most or all of our electric bill, which was the primary reason we decided to move forward with a $20,000 installation. If it had been clearly communicated that the system was intended to be a smaller "starter system" that would only offset a portion of our electricity usage, we likely would have approached the decision differently or waited until we had a longer utility history available. Another important point is that no written proposal or modeling documentation outlining the assumed household usage or projected offset was ever provided prior to signing. Because those design assumptions were never shared with us in writing, it has been difficult to understand how the system size was determined relative to our expected energy needs. As a result, we are now paying a monthly solar loan while still carrying a meaningful electric bill, which is not the outcome we understood or expected when making this investment. At this point, I have shared my experience and clarified the concerns raised. I do not intend to continue a public back-and-forth discussion on this review. My purpose in posting this update is simply to provide context so other homeowners researching solar know to request clear written modeling and offset assumptions before making a significant investment.

He was always communicative, prompt and friendly. He offered for us to come out to the showroom and see the windows and doors in person. I went with the Milgard Trinsic Windows and Doors. Second, the install team was excellent. Every day, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. Having a number of contractors for projects over the past 5 years, this team has been the best. I moved out of the house during the project, but I stopped by daily and everything was always cleaned up and in order. Third, I really appreciated the effort and thoroughness on the last day of cleaning the exterior and especially the interior of the house. The team takes great pride in their work and you can tell that is 100% employee owned. If I had to say there was a down side, its you may be in for a wait when placing your order because their work is in high demand (the first year quote, I would have had to wait 4-5 months). Finally, the windows and doors are beautiful. What a difference this made in regards to temperature, sound, and clarity. Not to mention, the ease at using the doors and the contemporary narrow frame modernized our home. We could not be happier.

Holland and his team are AMAZING! He was extremely responsive, kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, invoiced right away and sent a receipt right after. The work they did was amazing! Hand brushed the PACKED ON moss and treated our roof, gave us an update on the quality of the roof, cleaned our gutters, hauled away the remnants and washed our storm/outside windows on both the house and garage. I was referred to Holland's company after asking a few of my neighbors about who they knew that did window washing and pressure washing. More than a few recommended PDX Clean King and I'm so happy with the results! They cleaned the windows, screens and sills plus they removed and cleaned all my storms too. My windows are like new! And thanks to the pressure washing, my driveway hasn't been this clean in years. Amazing, amazing! My windows have never looked so clean! My best friend is a realtor in Portland and when I asked her if she knew of any company that does a great job of window washing and gutter cleaning, she recommended PDX Clean King. I'm seriously floored by this company's attention to detail. My screens were all washed and the sills were cleaned out too. I'm so happy I found PDX clean king!!! I found them from the Hollywood theater where they volunteer since it's a non profit. Holland did pressure washing, moss removal and window washing and our place and it looks amazing!!! And he has all the licensing including for moss removal an ODA license which 90 percent of the companies on yelp don't have. Great company both quality and honesty. read more

The job was very large and Dan and his team said it would take them from 9 am in the morning to 3 pm to finish the entire job. Not only was Dan and his team on time but they stayed an additional three hours to make sure they got the job done. Dan and his team are friendly, courteous, and hard-working. Dan noted we had many Japanese Maples around the house and came to us and told us that some of the chemicals they use can be detrimental to Japanese Maples and could cause some damage to them. Dan and his team went out of their way to vigorously wash off all the Japanese Maples to minimize the amount of chemicals left on them and mitigate any potential damage to them.
