On the down side, it is simply unacceptable to have "Silicon Valley" in your name and not accept online payments. Their phone payment system is horribly cumbersome. I signed up for auto-payments by sending them a voided check, but it's been more than a month and it still hasn't processed. And unlike PG&E, they are strict about their due dates; you will be charged $5 for the first day it's overdue. It reminds me of the good old days of video rental.

However, I just looked at my PG&E bill and it shows SFE charges from 2/27 - 3/30/26. WTF!? I will be calling tomorrow to address this issue and I will NOT be nice on the phone! Called the CUP or Central Utility Plant, this corner will not assist with the distribution and generation of power to these electricity heavy complex. The structures are under construction and based on the signage, in addition to artwork, the facade of the buildings will incorporate PV cells allowing the plant to offset 5200+ tons a year. It is too early to tell if they will offer tours and the like, but it will be an interesting building and the concepts may pan out.
