I Bank at Camden Bank so I asked if they could hold the groceries while I went to the bank to get some cash. Luckly, I go to that branch often and they know me so I didn't need my ID to take some cash out. I went back to the store to pay for the groceries and when they run them up, I was $7.00 short. The young gentleman at the register took out his wallet and pulled out the $7.00 to pay the balance. I told I could just put a couple things back but he insisted so I let him. When I go back tomorrow, I am dropping off an envelope for him with a thank you note and the money to pay him back. This was completely unexpected so I felt I wanted to acknowledge his thoughtfulness. Thank you.

Instead of saying hello or what can I get you he just stared with a flat, mean expression. I made my order and made sure I said please and thank you each time. I ordered 2 deli meats and one cheese. The last of my order I was looking down at the bread to grab something in front of the deli case. Because I wasn't watching his every move he actually screamed MA'AM! To get my attention. He was so loud everyone turned to look at what was going on. Then proceeded to talk about me to another customer. He was saying things like "these people don't know how to make eye contact" amongst many other things. What's even more ridiculous is that he was asked by another customer to smile. When he handed me the last of my order he made sure to glare at me in a very menacing way. I'm disgusted that this person has anything to do with customer service. Market Basket must be desperate to employ an abusive person like this.

We have a Hannafords' in town that has limited selections as it occupies the footprint of an older, mom & pop store. I have to confess I have never been to an Aldi and today was the first time as I was in Concord. It takes a little research to go to Aldi for the first time, and even when I did, there were still some surprises. The quarter per shopping cart and the dangling key seemed cosmic until a nice lady said she had finished with a cart she found in the paring lot and gave it to me. So I went inside to see what they had. I did bring several bags and cooling bags as I understood their no bag policy which I found super Super layout of staples, non-perishable items and seasonal products at very competitive prices. The fresh produce section seemed picked over and it was still mid morning. I can imagine what it must look like at 3 PM.... On the other hand, their refrigerated food, cookout items and frozen selections were superb. Wide aisles, friendly people, and nice attendants. Checkout was a breeze. The nice checkout attendant helped me with placing the items in the cooler bag. As anything related to a German company, it was quick and efficient.... I will say that, being an assiduous buyer of organic products, I can see myself coming over for party food and non perishables. However, the shopping experience is excellent.

I was in this Concord NH store of a 1/2 hour and could not find any items I was looking for. Empty shelves, items on pallets, no help available, and most customers walking around like zombies cursing good old Wally World. He was beyond friendly & wanted to make sure our questions were answered. The freezers are conveniently labeled so that you can find the products you desire. Love that they bring in various vendors, including Fossil Farms (NJ) but also some local NH products. There are also other products, such as dressings, marinades, seasonings, etc. for sale. The store is small but very clean. Taking a left onto route 4 is a challenge but still worth a visit. The prices are extremely fair! There is also a rewards program where you can get $ off for every so many points. We signed up that very day & already have 58 points. For example, you earn $5 off for 50 points, or $10 for 100 points etc. Worth it to me! Jason said they are currently working on a new location in Epsom at the circle. It will have a different name & more of a butcher shop. He plans to keep The Healthy Buffalo open for another year, depending on inventory & how sales go with the new location.
