I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!

They were potato shells, with American cheese melted on top with a strip of bacon... they tasted freezer burnt. As I said, no fryer so everything came with ridge chips. They were very good. For main meals we got 2 chili dogs. The chili on the dogs was pretty good, but I knew what it would do to me later. The grilled buns and dogs were just fine, the service was great! The decor is definitely poor people's pub style. So it all depends on what you are looking for. Cheap, frozen to table food, that's more economical? Then they're the place you'd like to hit up! If you're looking for a bit more then I'd suggest going elsewhere. They are handicapped accessible and they have a large private parking lot. They're just across the street from the Lovell lake boat launch !

This is definitely a dive bar where locals come regularly. The food was okay nothing special but did the job. The turkey BLT with cranberry mayo was missing the mayo. It could have had more lettuce and bacon. We also got the chicken bites and fries which are an appetizer, these have seen better days. I do have to say the hobo special which is a Reuben sandwich was outstanding! That is one thing they have going for them. It's not somewhere I would go out of the way to eat at but if you are passing thru it's not terrible especially because passing thru there are not many places to stop at.
