Recent visit on a Sunday for book club! Heads up that larger than 8 parties may be seated outside due to table availability. Outdoors is covered patio with umbrellas and fans with misters, although we didn't get the misters on until we were leaving. Service was quick and friendly. Several different meals and everyone approved- Caesar wrap was cool and tasty, sweet potato fries were crisp. Creme brulee French toast was so yummy! They torch the sugar right at the table! So fun to watch. Mimosa tower shared by 6 people and was so good! Definitely a great place for some fun convos and good food!

    1) smelled like dried egg. It doesn't seem like they wipe counters well enough 2) staff appear to hate their job, no hellos, no interaction 3) one girl behind the bar wore gloves, the same gloves, kinda defeats the purpose 4) drink was overly sweet Very instagram-able pics, but that's not what I'm into so- not for me Maybe you'll have a better experience. Next.

Great place to enjoy a nice meal with loved ones! Very cute and lots of indoor seating plus outdoor seating. Great employees, super nice and welcoming 10/10 for them! The egg-cellent plate with side of pancake was good, pancake was very soft and fluffy. Their potatoes were soo good 10/10. I'd definitely come back again!

Made a reservation online the night before for our party of 3. Beautiful restaurant. Food was all great. Portions are large. Hibiscus mimosa was good, mocktail creamsicle was sweet but good and watermelon lime juice super tasty. They let my elderly mom get a kids meal, so sweet! Excellent customer service by Kendric.

Mia did an amazing job waiting us! This wasn't my first time here and definitely wont be my last. I came back to try their fall menu which had the pumpkin latte IN A PUMPKIN and the apple cider mimosa which was so good. And as a girl who doesn't like carbonated drinks or let alone liquor, this was a good combo for brunch! I ended up getting the eggs benedict with the french toast dipper and it didn't disappoint! The french toast was fluffy and easy to bite, and the eggs Benedict was very flavorful. Overall the atmosphere is so aesthetic and everyone there is very welcoming. Will be coming back soon, and thank you Mia again for the wonderful service!

Amazing brunch! My breakfast was delicious . We were told it would be an hour and a half wait . But we were seated within 20 minutes. Soon as we set down our food same out within ten minutes . I've meme had that happen before . The drinks came shortly after. Overall, great experience!

Worth the wait. We joined the waitlist and there were 76 parties in front of us. Walked around and went shopping while we waited. The decor is so cute and great brunch vibe. The food was amazing. The Texas Benedict was delicious, egg cooked perfectly and the meat was tender. Kids pancakes were great and a large serving. The chicken in the Chicken & Waffles was so tender and the waffle was amazing. Will be back.

Sunny's was such a vibe! The moment we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a chic European café. The space is beautiful, bright, and lively, we saw several birthday celebrations while we were there, which made the atmosphere feel especially fun. And the food? Spectacular. I had the avocado toast appetizer, and we also tried the eggs Benedict and the traditional breakfast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. Sunny's is definitely worth a visit for a special brunch or simply when you want breakfast somewhere that feels a little extra.

Is it busy? Yes. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. I loved everything at this establishment from our lovely server, gorgeous atmosphere, and yummy food and drink. Reserve a table!

Good effort for new restaurant. Beautiful place! Great art. Music is a little loud where we were sitting in the sunroom. Food was good- just some mixups: - my coffee cup was dirty. I asked for a new cup of coffee and they offered to bring me a new cup. Which of course would have mean drinking dirty cup coffee out of a new cup! I explained and the brought a new cup. - my wife's food came out cool. Not cold, but definitely not warm. - they brought me the wrong eggs. Turns out they brought out the wrong plate and corrected it right away. But I had already stabbed the eggs with my fork to see yokes were runny (blech) and had to clean my fork But overall, it was good.

Cool little place. We went during the World Cup, and side note, there aren't any TVs, so that was a little disappointing. The staff was great, and the mimosa flight was fairly priced. My wife tried the raspberry coffee and said it tasted more like raspberry than coffee, which wasn't her thing, but if you like flavored coffee you might enjoy it. The Eggs Benedict were fantastic and easily the highlight of the meal. Also, don't sleep on the appetizers. I didn't take any pictures, but every one we tried was really good. One thing to keep in mind: this place gets busy, so plan accordingly because you may be waiting a while.

This was my first visit to Sunny's, and I have to admit I was a little hesitant at first. Since they don't take weekend reservations or have a waitlist, I was worried about getting a table for my large group to celebrate my birthday. I had been told to arrive 2-3 hours early, but we arrived about an hour and a half before we wanted to eat, and they were able to seat us within that time. Berkeley, the host who greeted us, was attentive, welcoming, and professional. From the moment we arrived, I felt like we were in good hands. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I loved the yellow buggy outside, and the duck décor inside is such a unique touch. The flowers and lemon tree create a bright, inviting atmosphere. It was definitely busy and a bit loud, but we were seated in a booth where everyone could comfortably talk and enjoy each other's company. Our group ordered a variety of appetizers, brunch dishes, drinks, and dessert, and every single item was excellent. We started with the feta avocado appetizer, French toast, grilled cheese sandwich, and the Mediterranean plate. For my entrée, I ordered the chilaquiles, and they were absolutely fantastic. I especially loved all of the flavorful sauces. I also enjoyed both the espresso martini and the limoncello drink. Everyone in my party commented on how much they enjoyed their meals as well. Our server, Addie, was outstanding. She was professional, attentive, and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. She also made sure I felt celebrated on my birthday, which I really appreciated. To top it all off, they surprised me with chocolate gelato for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, I had an amazing first experience at Sunny's. The food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it for brunch or a special celebration!

Chicken parm was huge the marina sauce on it was amazing, It came with a side of vodka pasta but was not a very big fan of their vodka sauce. The hot scilian pizza was great! The hot honey compliments everything extremely well. My only complaint would be the Coke Zero being really "flat" our server was great in trying to make it more carbonated and explained they get carbonation through the ice, but despite his efforts it didn't get better. No dessert this time but we see ourselves coming back!

I went for lunch with friends and our server was "Roland." Professional, friendly, very well versed in the menu. Was available and not over bearing. The manager stopped by a few times. Usually one is lucky to see a manager once if ever. The food! We shared the three piece bruschetta. Delicious and generous in its toppings. Chicken parm with hand made noodles! Chicken was moist, flavorful and the noodles in vodka sauce delicious! Also had the side Cesar salad with dressing on the side. Crunchy romaine and fresh! Not one discolored leaf...which is sad that I can't say that for many places. I'm looking forward to ordering other menu items and it was well worth the drive with all the construction (freeway).

Sustenio the restaurant inside Eilan Resort…read more the few times we've eaten here it has been good. this was pre-"pandemic". recently they've re-opened to full capacity and hours i believe. so our fingers were crossed it would still be good as some reviews stated otherwise. it wasn't busy. we got there just after they opened. my salad was good. apparently chicken cost $12 extra for a few dry chicken strips. overpriced to say the least. otherwise the salad was good. husband ordered the filet medium. the waitress even came back to confirm we understood medium to be a warm pink center. Little did she realize we are from the Texas panhandle. We know our beef and we know exactly what the meat is supposed to look like on the inside after cooking. in actuality she need to confirm this very question with the cook because the steak came out with NO pink whatsoever inside. none. zilch. nada. can you say overcooked? we did discuss it with the waitress and she informed the cook and manager. waitress offered to have re-done but husband declined. it was still edible and quite frankly i would've been done eating before he got his new meal but we did want them to know the cook was overcooking steaks and at the price they charge for them ... you want it cooked right !!! the manager eventually came over to the table. i honestly didn't think she was going to. they did offer up a free dessert. I took it. IT WAS AMAZING. best thing on the menu no doubt. our waitress was amazing and extremely apologetic thru this ordeal.

This upscale-ish restaurant is located in the Elian Hotel at La Cantera. We picked this place for…read moreRestaurant Week because we wanted something new. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Valet is complimentary when dining at the restaurant. That is particularly helpful in this cold weather. When we entered the restaurant the dining area was empty. There were a few patrons at the bar but no one at any dining tables. Maybe a sign?? The reviews on Google and Yelp are all over the place. The decor is nice but the seating is a little outdated and worn. I can understand this, though, because I am sure they get a lot of family traffic being a hotel so close to Six Flags. Our waiter, Robert, came right over to take our order. He was friendly and personable. The Restaurant Week menu had two choices for each course, so my friend and I ordered everything so we could try it. First up, the appetizers were poblano and corn soup or heirloom tomato salad with blue cheese. The soup was delicious but was not very hot temperature-wise. The salad is a beautiful idea, but the tomatoes were just bad. They were out of season, mushy, and tasteless. I love tomatoes, so I was disappointed. Next up entrees. My friend had the braised short rib with beans and rice. I had the Redfish with rice and green beans. The short rib was excellent, but it came out at room temperature. Considering we were the only ones there that was a red flag. My fish was seasoned well, and I enjoyed it, but it was room temperature also. Is there a draft in the kitchen? Other reviews mentioned their food was not hot so it seems like a trend. For the amount you pay, the food should be piping hot when it comes to the table. Finally, we got to dessert. I had the creme Brulee cheesecake and my friend had the campfire dark chocolate torte. The desserts were delicious with no complaints at all. This place has a lot of potential, but there are too many restaurants in San Antonio, so you have to make a positive impact on your customers, so they want to return.
