Not my first time in Miami, but my first time visiting Sunny's. This was a cool little spot considering nothing was open within the vicinity of our hotel. The overall experience was fairly decent....the food to me is a bit pricey for the quality, but in Miami anywhere you go everything is pretty OVERPRICED. If you're looking for a spot to grab a bite late at night after just landing in Miami, then this is the place to go right there on south beach.

Since it was my last breakfast in South Beach and I've walked past this place a half dozen times, I decided to give it a try. It has a cool vibe to it with a full bar. They seem to have plenty of staff onboard. Once you walk in multiple people were eager to sit us right away. Once they sat us, the service went out the window. They weren't super busy, so I didn't understand why there was no attention to detail. I blame the mandatory service charge across all of South Beach for the lack of effort from the servers. From what I gathered, a percentage of the service charge goes to the server and the rest is divided amongst the staff. Our server was cold and not interested to be at work. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and my girlfriend ordered the Sobe style breakfast. She ordered a Cafe Americano and I had the orange juice. Afterwards she wanted some milk or cream for her coffee. Once she poured that into her coffee, instant curds popped up to the top. We flagged down our server and wanted to give the coffee back and her response was, "it's the type of milk". I never grew up drinking coffee with curds in it. My girlfriend then switched to a pineapple juice which took forever to get to the table. Watching our server's gestures from afar we can tell she does the basic level of service but has a nasty side to her. She's either over her job or having a bad day. My eggs Benedict weren't bad, but the home fries were dry and tasteless and my eggs over easy tasted like pure pepper. The overall experience left much to be desired especially paying $50 for breakfast. We're not snobs about food or service, but the waitress lacked personality and quite honestly could use an attitude adjustment. The restrooms are another story. Not sure which was more disturbing- the lock code on the door that everyone touches or the distinct smell of urine and vomit. The only happy person we interacted with was the bartender. This place was a let down, don't waste your time or money.

Only benefit is their hours, open 24/7. Arrived at 5am after a late night out and ordered veggie tacos at the window (chairs are available) outside. I do believe inside dining was closed. Took 35 minutes to make two veggie tacos at 5am. By veggie tacos, I mean, they removed the protein and left the lettuce, cabbage, and guac. Little side of white rice and beans. Wish y'all had actual vegetarian options, either tofu or soy protein.

Sunny's is the best ! And Valentin is the best bartender and mixologist in town!! We were conveniently staying across the street at the dream and wanted some late night bites on a Wednesday. We came in around midnight and we're greeted by wonderful staff who were all so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Valentin whipped up so many delicious cocktails... my bf says some of the best he's ever had!! If you don't know what to get, let him make you a dealers choice, you won't regret it. We just got some snacks like hummus but it was super delicious we came back a second night for it! Anyways I could keep going on but just trust me when I say this is the spot you're looking for!!

Sunny described the weather this past Saturday, and the name of a great spot to brunch and people watch on south Beach. I stooped in this past Saturday on my way to the nearby Apple store. With the weather befitting the venue's name I sat down to nosh and people watch. Located in the old David's Cafe space, the new owners have updated the look & vibe, even adding a full cocktail bar and outside seating. I'm not sure if it's just for decor or for live music, but they do have turntables (and a very realistic looking sculpture :) by the bar. Service was attentive, with both my waitress & who I believe was the manager checking on me and the other diners. Of course I indulged my eggs benedict habit! The maple bacon in Sunny's cuisine gave it a slight hint of sweetness (my weakness) and the yolk on the poached egg was perfectly runny. My bacon's crispiness was also on point. The fresh tomato pieces and herbs made me feel "healthy". My dessert was their large & fluffy three stack pancakes, served a la mode with ice cream, fresh strawberries, bananas & Nutella. The fruits looked and tasted fresh. I couldn't finish them, but my waitress packed them nicely to go for me to enjoy the next day. Did I mention their large mimosa? The orange juice is fresh, with just a touch of pulp and the champagne is great to start of your day (drinking). There's a small one as well, but more is better. Oh and it's garnished with an orange slice. I believe they're open 24 hours, which is always nice whether I'm coming from a night out or working in the area.

Love Sunny's: the vibe was great, from the design to the food, drinks and music I ate outside and the night atmosphere was everything. Customer service: top tier, I went for my bday late night and I was given service I didn't expect lol, they sung happy bday and gave me a special shot Quality: I did not expect my food to be so good and filling Cost: $$ a little expensive and worth every penny their drink was the best I've ever had

This definitely was a strange experience. We stopped in here because we noticed there was outdoor seating and we wanted to enjoy a Covid-safe meal in the midst of such a crowded city. It was dinner time, around 6pm on a Wednesday, and we were the only people there. The waiter stood in the doorway waiting as we read our menus, positioned like a bouncer. Based off this, I think the restaurant mainly focuses on nightlife. The vegetarian salad was actually very good and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. The table had two couches we sat at and that was enjoyable. However, the waiter made it unpleasant when he came over and brought up a very inappropriate drug-related conversation. We definitely came to the wrong spot!

BE AWARE! While the food and drinks are very good, I've been overcharged at least twice! By over $30!! I know the gratuity and tax is included and I did not add any extra on top. I was supposed to get my receipt emailed but it was never sent. Make sure you get a printed receipt and check your bank statement how much you've actually been charged.

Loved this place! You can walk up and order or find your own seat inside. Quick and good service! Good but pricey mimosas! You can people watch and enjoy the scenery too!

Super convenient walk up window restaurant smack in the middle of Miami Beach. It's been a staple in south beach for decades, I'm just glad it's still open. I stop by for Cuban coffee. The server was friendly & helpful. Her kindness & fun personality was appreciated.

On our last day in SoBe, we visited Sunny's. Oddly, all breakfast spots in Miami Beach don't usually open until 8am. We woke up early every morning and went walking. We were headed to Bacon Bitch (on foot lol) but noticed that Sunny's was open 24/7 which means we wouldn't have to wait around for Bacon Bitch to open. All of the food was fresh and tasty! I would definitely visit again on my next trip. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because the service was slightly slacking. My boyfriend had to ask for water multiple times and we sat there for a good 10-15 minutes before they asked if we were ready to pay. Normally I wouldn't mind but since it was the day of departure, I was ready to get back to the hotel and relax for the little bit of time we had left.

The manager proceeded to argue with me!!! After I pointed out that he was wrong as shit!!

Super simple! I ordered wings from the app menu. Sweet chili with blue cheese dip. My wings arrive and they're plain. I said hey I ordered sweet chili, this muthatfucka says yes and you also ordered blue cheese so we gave you blue cheese... I'm like yes but my FLAVOR is sweet chili. He said it's one or the other...?!?!?!? I said show me where that shows anywhere on the menu... And to get the manager, the manager can over and repeated what the sever said. I said ok can someone show me.... He said (the manager) well at THIS RESTAURANT, this is how we do it. You want blues cheese or sweet chili flavor... so before I CUSSED HIS OUT because WHO are you talking too?!? But also you're wrong. He stated that the menu was worded wrong and that's how they do thjngs

This place is pretty neat. Open 24/7 with good vibes, good food, amazing drinks, and awesome employees! Go see Sebastian he will take care of you and makes some of the best drinks!

I loved that the owner/chef was preparing many of the dishes right in front of guests in the center of the bar area -- such a cool experience to watch. The rosé on happy hour was excellent, and I happened to come on $1 oyster Wednesday night, which was an unexpected bonus. The oysters were small but fresh and delicious. The mini tacos were also a great choice, with three generous portions for happy hour. The crowd was friendly and seemed to be mostly locals, which gave it a welcoming neighborhood feel. In fact,…read moreas I've given other places 5 stars already, I feel that this place should be given a 6, to show that it's really better than the other ones. Definitely a gem. The restaurant is hidden inside the Cadet Hotel, and hidden is the word because even when you are in the lobby you won't know where the restaurant is. It's up a small, unmarked flight of stairs. The restaurant itself is small, with about 10 tables and half of them two-person, so probably can fit no more than 30 people. However, this little gem has plenty of charm, cozy and not stuffy at all. Feels like you are in a little restaurant in Paris. For Miami Spice, appetizer choices include truffle celery risotto, duck confit and foie gras. Main dishes we had the cod fillet, lamb chop and duck l'orange. Dessert is floating island, a Pavlova with a creamy sauce and berries. I won't go into detail, as I probably will just be repeating the words "delicious" "flavorful" "delish" "heavenly" "excellent" over and over. Suffice to say the meat is succulent and cooked just right, I relish every bite, and it's good to the last bite - something which actually is quite a feat, as sometimes dishes that are delicious at first bite can get salty or boring as you eat on. Patrick the sommelier gave us a good recommendation. As we ordered different dishes, it's hard to pick just one bottle, but the barolo he selected manages to go well with most and amplifies the flavors of the risotto, the duck and the lamb really well. The regular menu lists most entrees around $35, and the well selected wine list has many good but lesser known wines for $50 to a few hundreds. Reasonable prices, I look forward to be back even when it's not Miami Spice month!

First, this is a restaurant where you come for the amazing service, quality food, and something different type of food. This is not your typical everyday restaurant and it is more on the high end side. The restaurant is inside a hotel and parking can be limited, but you can walk a little to the parking garage or pay the parking up close. Service: let me start with one of the best things about this restaurant. The waiter comes and gets you as soon as you come into the hotel/restaurant entrance. They will be on top of you if you want or need everything. There was a guy there that suggested us a great red wine selection and we of course got the bottle. We did not have to wait much at all for anything. They were constantly coming to check up on the food, if anymore wine was needed, or anything else.. Food: the food was definitely high quality food. You come here not for the portions, but for the different options they offer. You come here for the top of the notch ingredients. The taste of the food was delicious, not overpowering, and all the ingredients went well together. My husband got the PAN SAUTEED FOIE GRAS for first course, SHORT RIBS MARINATED IN BURGUNDY WINE AND SLOWLY COOKED for second course, and of course the FLOATING ISLAND Poached Whipped White Egg, Crème Anglaise, Fresh Berries for desert. It was all perfectly cooked and delicious, the short ribs we soft and the flavor was just on point. I got WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO for the first course, DUO OF BRANZINO AND SEA SCALLOP Vegetable and lemongrass sauce .. Branzino  Butter Dulce Flakes Sauce ..Scallop for the second course, and the same desert as my husband for the third course. I really just enjoyed it all, the flavors of the sauce along with the vegetables not being overcooked or under cooked. The chef in the back just played it all so well together. The ambient of this restaurant is small and cozy. This is a place for date night, or talking to an old friend you haven't seen. This place is small, so reservation is a must. It is a restuarant where you can actually hear the person in front of you without having to scream over other people or the music. It is a great place because once you are done eating you can walk Lincoln road or go walk the beach if you'd like. I would not kind coming back here again for another date night. Service was great, food was delicious, and I enjoyed the cozy quality restaurant it really is.

I came around 1 PM and the restaurant was really busy with locals and some tourists. The restaurant only has counter seating in the windows with barstool seating (no inside seating) so you have to wait until someone gets up and then you seat yourself. I waited about 2-3 minutes and found a seat (it's all pretty quick because people eat their sandwiches and come and go). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!
