I came here as a new customer since my spot didn't have the winter green that I wanted. I came in…read morefor fill in and pedicure. The spot is cute but small, nice colorful lights on ceiling . Tom did an amazing job, once he completed my fill in, Kim said I couldn't get a pedicure and stated that I only requested fill in. I told her I had an event tomorrow and needed both done since if I didn't I would be mismatched with my polish and having to return would be an inconvenience . I spoke with Tom and asked if I can get just a polish change since Kim was initially refusing to let him do my pedicure then wanted me to allow another customer to go ahead of me to make me wait for pedicure. Tom didn't a great job, he trimmed my nails , filed them and sprayed water to clean them. I had full intentions of returning to be Toms regular but Kim said charge her $5 extra since she is a new customer and we don't know where she came from and had to fix her nails. I informed Kim that I didn't have anything fixed then she went on to say that they only do short nails , which mine are by the way and that they charge extra to shape them. My nails didn't need any shaping it was regular filed as done with any acrylic fill in. You would think as a new customer that I would get red carpet treatment to get me to return but Kim treated me like shit. She told him to charge me regular customer price then "tell her to get out and remember her to not let her back since she caused trouble". I asked her name since she was so rude so I can document in my review and she said "Kim but I don't work here". I asked what do you mean you don't work here if you are sitting here doing a customers nails as we speak. Kim said she is only there once in a while. I asked to speak to manager, Tom said they were in queens. They would not call manager but Tom was taking orders from Kim which didn't make sense to me. I told Tom I would've returned for him but due to Kim's behavior I would not. I found it ironic that I saw this business on yelp in past but it must have been removed by owner due to bad reviews. On Facebook reviews I saw Kim is the owner and had positive reviews so something is shady about this scenario and makes it more clear as to why Tom was taking orders from her. I've been getting my nails done for almost 20 years and never experienced the treatment that Kim gave me. She was extremely rude as she raised her voice and argued with me in front of other customers. Kim is definitely bad for business

I was looking for a nail place in Riverhead as I was waiting for my hair appointment, and found this gem on yelp. After reading all the positive reviews I went there to check it out for myself and i was so impressed with the customer service & Job they did that I'll definitely be back again! SANITATION & CLEANLINESS & COVID-19 AWARENESS IS ON POINT HERE . they gave me hand sanitizer, they checked my temperature, they cleaned off all the seats and stuff I would be using. I really appreciate the care they had to make sure customers felt safe and comfortable. 1) PARKING IN THE REAR! This place is easy to find and they have a lot of parking in the back. So did not fear! I always get anxious as a newbie to NY about tryna find parking but here you are GOOD! No parallel parking skills are required. 2) THEY ACCEPT WALKINs! I showed up at 4:30 on a Friday, they were quite busy but were able to accommodate me in about 20 minutes which was super nice and that was enough time for me to figure out what color i wanted to go with. 3) JULIE TOOK CARE OF MY CUTICLES & ANY NAIL PATRON KNOWS THAT IS KEY! She made sure to pay attention as to not scrub off my nail bed and it was a painless experience! I appreciate that SO MUCH. She asked me many questions along the way to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. (Length, shape, she checked both hands simultaneously to make sure they were even. She got my stamp of approval) . I even told Her to surprise me with my 4th finger design and SHE SLAYEDDDD. 4) GET THE GEL PEDI, IT WAS SO WORTH IT TREAT YOSELF & THE MASSAGE CHAIR WAS AMAZING! omg so the ultimately highlight was getting my gel Pedi. I was so happy with how the lady massaged My legs, put multiple creams, scrubs, warm stuff on my feet! It was so nice after a long day of working. I got very unique toes (super tiny nails) and I'm Happy with how they came out. Usually ppl butcher tf outta them so this was nice. 5) EVERYONE WAS SO FRIENDLY. REALLY GOOD VIBES ALL OVER! No one was talking shit about customers like in other nail salons I've been to. Everyone was vibing and it really felt like a ZEN PALACE! I LOVED IT ALL! I'll def be back. I don't write these long ass reviews if I don't 1000000% Love a place. You will not be disappointed!

The entire time she was trying to tell me how I should get the "keratin blow out" which is "better", the blow out cost $39 and what I had already purchased was $75. So I make the appointment anyway. Mistake. I go in and they don't have my appointment scheduled, so no big deal they'll squeeze me in. When I finally have someone come and get me they tell me that I'm going to have to pay extra because of my "long and thick hair". Now, my hair is maybe 2 centimeters past my shoulders and beyond fine.. Not exactly long and think. When I questioned it, the woman got in my face and told me because I bought a groupon it would be extra. What? That makes zero sense. Needless to say, I did not stay. She told me I was causing a scene, while she was in my face yelling at me. I called groupon who gave me my money back but please don't give this place your money.
