Was looking for a new nail salon so I tried here. Prices were reasonable. Never again. Had an appointment for spa mani/pedi. When I arrived was only person there. Should have been my first clue this place is not good. Pedicure was ok, but no massage or real good scrub of feet like I've experienced anywhere else. Manicure was rushed, and the massage I got to go with it was awful. Nails looked ok, but they didn't put gel over top of my nails. They chip so easily when you don't paint the gel on tip of nail. I came in without an appointment and no one was here so I got right in. I asked for the cucumber massage which was an extra $10. I asked her to just massage my feet instead of my calfs and she didn't seem happy with that response and rolled her eyes. I felt very unwanted and that I was a bother to the people working here. Also, the massage chair I was in had definitely previous debris from the person before and drink stains on the drink holder like it hadn't been wiped down. Definitely did not seem the cleanest. Okay job on my pedicure but I don't think I'll be back here. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I have been going to this salon for over a year. Today, the place was a little bit busy and all of the nail specialists were taken. The owner, who was doing nothing but standing around (nothing unusual), did nothing to assist me while the other workers were busy, so I was waiting for about 10 minutes until somebody could start doing my nails. The least she could have done was to get my colors. Because I wanted an ombré effect, it was $5 extra which I have no problem with. However, the ombré I got received was mediocre at absolute best, the woman basically just threw on sparkles with no care for how they turned out. My whole manicure was half-assed. Cant wait to go home and fix my own nails. What a complete disappointment. read more

I would not recommend this nail salon. Went in with a group during Christmas vacation and the salon was empty. All technicians jumped up to serve us but were so rushed even without anyone behind us waiting to be served. I've never been tapped so many times in the leg during a pedicure in my life. I barely got to soak my feet. It is a cheap pedicure and it lasts no longer than 15 min. I also got a gel French manicure and the technician had a lot of trouble and had to redo several white tips, removing the layers, repainting, etc. Overall, they came out crooked. Now only day later the whites have a brown tinge to them on the tips, almost like a burnt look. I remember she had me keep my hands in the light very long and there was no timer on the machine. Other people in my group also received unsatisfactory manicures and pedicures. read more

Wow! What an amazing job they did with the remodel of this nail salon. It looks amazing. Got an appointment with Brandy today and she did an amazing job on my nails. I recently moved to Ridge and have been looking for a local, clean and convenient salon however when I previously stopped in it was much smaller and not as welcoming. Went a few times and gave them the benefit of the doubt, but each time was awful. I've gotten manicures, gel manicures and pedicures. The place is dirty, Unkept and they use gross tools on you, be sure to ask for new packaged! Their polish doesn't seem to hold up? Cracks and comes off very easily, Maybe they put something in it to make it last longer? Never had this issue anywhere else. Had the OWNER try to rip me off on a gift card I used, crossing off an amount on the back and putting the wrong amount left over. The staff is ok, but the owner isn't. She's always sitting in the pedicure chairs eating and watching her phone. The grease from her food was on the arm of my chair when i went to sit the last time. I'm 100% sure she was talking crap about me to her coworkers while I was getting my nails done.. which was so obvious. Not a nice setting the place isn't even clean either. The couch to sit on is disgusting and falling apart. I won't be going back. Don't waste your money.. don't get a disease here.. read more

I went to this nail salon today because it's the closest to my home and I have been here before and spent a ton of money on pedicures for me and my friend. Well today I get there and ask for a full set and get this woman who was acting like I was wasting her time. She was so rude! She was roughly grabbing my hands and doing a horrible job with the acrylics. I'm not at all one to complain but when I looked at my nails before she was about to paint them they were pretty much all completely crooked. She didn't do that thing where she's supposed to match up the nails and make sure there the same length either. After letting her know I was not happy with how they looked she rudely grab my hands and started filling them super short as she complained to me that I should have mentioned earlier that they were crooked because she doesn't have time for this she has someone else waiting for her. Maybe if she did it right the first time she wouldn't have to go back and correct her mistakes? Just my opinion! Anyway they came out absolutely terrible and I just didn't want to deal with her anymore as I don't like to argue with people. I'm just never going to go to there salon again. I do not deserve to be rushed and treated as if I don't matter and have my nails come out a disaster! I am so disappointed in this place! read more

I think the fact that they increased their prices for every service is just not a smart business decision when there is so much competition out there. They redid the place to add hair services so they felt that the increase was justifiable. The owner Brandy can be very rude and doesn't care to keep her customers happy! She changed a lot over the years. I just got a new set put on that lasted only 4 days before it all lifted. She charged me $70 for this! I went to another place today and had them soak this one and put on a new one all for $30. I was amazed at how much better it looked also. The owner was very polite and took her time to make me happy. Pretty nails just lost a customer after a decade of being loyal! read more

They need to learn how to do the SNS nails. When I left they were see through and literally lasted 3 days before they started chipping.

I've been going to them for about 4 years , (for basic pedicures). I've had no issues. If the owner does the pedicure, she is not gentle, but it's a decent job. Next month we will be trying their SNS system for the 1st time. After reading the previous review, I hope they're doing a better job now, (it'll be our 3rd SNS procedure / so we will notice the difference). They are closed on Tuesdays. read more

I was going to Pretty Nails frequently over the course of 4 months. Joe did my gel nails and he was fantastic! I went on a day that he wasn't working and had Kelea fix my nail. I brought my 7 year old daughter with me to get her a manicure. While Kelea was working on my daughter's nails she said to her "Why your mother so skinny and you're so chubby?" Needless to say, I was FURIOUS and demanded an apology to my daugther. She only told me she was sorry and wouldn't say it to my daughter. I was yelling and told her never to insult my daughter and how extremely rude and unprofessional she behaved. It was a very hurtful thing to say to a 7 year old and my daughter was VERY upset, I will never go there again. These people are assimiliated enough to know better. They didn't just arrive from China. I am very disappointed and angry as I really liked Joe, whom in my opinion is the best and only qualified nail technician there. I can't say how many times people next to me got scraped or cut by the dremel tool that they used. It's not the cleanest place either, It needs serious updating.
