I even brought my 7 year old daughter with me a couple times and she was also treated poorly. The attitude my manicurist had this morning was one of irritation and like I shouldn't be breathing the same air as her. I was told immediately that I couldn't change my service from gel extensions to a regular manicure because of cost. Why not offer me a great manicure with up charges to balance out the cost. It wasn't about the cost to me it was about getting the nail treatment I wanted. Then I was told not to touch anything and that my hands were hers and not to use my phone or drink my coffee. I'm 46 and did neither. She chided me like a child preemptively. Awkward. Then told me she doesn't cut down gel x when I wanted them shorter, only to later go ahead and do just that. But not until she showed me her irritation in my wanting them shorter. She was irritated with me again when I didn't want another coat of polish. She never made eye contact with me and refused to engage in any small talk during the appointment. It was literally miserable. The staff dresses like they just got out of bed. One girl had a bloody zombie face on her shirt. Unprofessional in appearance, attitude, and customer service. I would not recommend this salon.

I loved acrylics but they literally left my nails so weak, and gel was the same story. I've been with Shaneequa twice now and have only amazing things to say. Not only did my first round of gel last 3 weeks, they looked AMAZING for all 3 weeks. I actually could not believe it. The best part was that when Shaneequa removed the gel, my nails were SO STRONG. Literally the best and cheapest gel manicure downtown, I'm totally on the all-natural train now. Photo isn't amazing but she also did a great job with the little hearts. I cannot recommend this place enough- I think they do a significantly better job than places like Posh or the place on Gay St. Also this place is so cute and everyone is really friendly.
