I tried giving this laundromat the benefit of the doubt but time and time I am disappointed. They recently raised their prices with their smallest front load washer being $4+. This would not be an issue if they properly serviced their DRYERS. I have to split my loads into lots of dryers just for them to come out okay and dry (on High mind you). $4 minimum washes + 6min/quarter of improper drying makes it no longer worth it.

The drop-off and pick-up process is quick and easy, and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other places I've tried. It's such a relief to have a dependable dry cleaner I can trust. However…read morethough I have come here for years...there is one employee who has the worst absolute worst way of speaking to someone. Maybe she's racist against beautiful white women.. no idea nor do I care. Her attitude on the two occasions I've spoken to her the past couple weeks (including today) is so UGLY !! She needs a job where she is not the "face" of the business or engaging with the public. I mean she has a very insulting, provoking way of communicating; it's sad and ridiculous being that we have only the one laundromat in Laguna Beach. There is real potential for a new one to do well here; and especially if they offer WIfi, have a better look than Pepto Bismol with your quotes .. I mean this is Laguna we care about our color wheel! My clothes arrived fresh and very clean, in a timely manner. I felt that the price was a little high, but I was desperate for clean clothes. Overall, I felt that it was so worth it!! I would definitely use this business, again. Highly recommended and very appreciative! She did a better job than I could. I'm impressed! Many thanks, Jennifer! 5 Stars!!!

Using the power of yelp and my mom, I found Shelton Family Cleaners. They charged $40 per down comforter and $30 for a blanket to dry clean and take off one "to do" list that was needed. I came here, was greeted with a friendly smile and reassured all the stains or problem areas would be addressed, paid up front and was given a ticket with a day it would be ready. Sure enough, i came everything was as it was supposed to be and areas addressed and I couldn't be happier! I was so impressed, that the following week, I dropped off 2 more down comforters to be cleaned and am waiting for them to be finished and picked up in a few days! Would recommend Shelton Family Cleaners for cleaning expensive down comforters! 10/10

There was one cream cashmere sweater I brought that had some stains and in an effort to remove they must have bleached the area because the stains are gone but the area is now a big white circle instead of cream. Then there was another cashmere cardigan I brought that had no stains and needed a general cleaning but after picking it up I noticed discoloration throughout. Lastly, there was a dress I brought in for a routine clean so that I could sell to consignment. The consignment store refused to take the dress in because it needed a "dry clean." I was shocked because it literally just came back from the cleaner! They pointed to the armpit area that had some dirt/brown coloring remnants on it. All of this happened back to back, not sure if they're going through a transition since there was also recently a "help wanted" sign out front. Though I'm grateful for the initial good run, I'm moving on.
