Love love loveeee Sunlife Organics. One of the best acai bowls I have ever had. This spot definitely gets busy so be prepared to wait but it's totally worth it. I usually get the Buddha bowl but this time I opted for the Hawaiian bowl. The fruit is super fresh and I loved the coconut shavings on top. They have a few seats outside but not much seating besides that. I would recommend taking your food to go and eating at the beach. read more

Amazing Service! I've never had such great service from a smoothie place! Sarah, Dennise, Kennedy, and Stefany are so lovely. They went above and beyond to help me as I ordered close to 15 drinks. The shakes are definitely very healthy and tasty.. I definitely come back again. I would recommend anybody who wants to get a smoothie to come here. PS - the vibe was great with good music, but not too loud. Whatever scent they had in there was awesome. I was feeling like I was at the beach doing yoga. read more

Really disappointed with my visit to the Malibu SunLife on Heathercliff. I ordered the Brazilian Bowl and it was completely melted when I got it -- no wait time, just handed to me as liquid. There was barely any açaí, maybe 1/8 of the bowl was full, and the rest was just granola. For $18.50, I basically paid for granola soup. I tried freezing it, but it turned into mushy oatmeal. I've had this bowl before and it was great, but this was unacceptable. I left a review and am requesting a full refund. Don't waste your money. They gave me a full refund and were very helpful! read more

First time coming here. Came at 11am on a Saturday and the parking lot was pretty full. But you can find parking next door like we did if needed The Wolverine protein shake was filling and worth the price. Between that and the cookie doughbites i had spent $30 and was shocked but they were both really good, no complaints here. Plenty of açaí bowl options that my friend took advantage of. Pretty quick service and plenty of seating outside to see all the other cafes and stores. read more

Though there were a lot of people in the shop, and there was a line to order, the workers were fast and it was no time at all before I was at the front of the line putting in my order. The EVERGY SHOT I ordered was great and seemed to work. It might be placebo effect only, but the cleanse I got after felt great :) It's not cheap. read more

The smoothie bowls here are really good. They do have. Good variety of options. My smoothie bowl that I tried was a more tropical and orange tasting. This is rather unique since most smoothie bowls I try have banana as a strong flavor. I did enjoy the toppings. The fruit was very fresh and the granola was tasty. I am not so sure it is worth the $20 it basically costs though. The location is in a shopping center which is nice to have easy parking. There are some tables outside which is nice to sit at. Also for an FYI, this place doesn't have Wi-Fi. read more

This is a great healthy smoothie and acai bowl spot at the Malibu Country Market, perfect for a bite after hiking. It's a bit on the pricey end but everything is tasty and good quality. We ordered açaí bowl from Sunlife Organics at Heathclif rd. About a fifth of the bowl was acai and the rest granola and few berries on the top. They should call it Granola bowl,rather. When we went to complain, they told me this is the way they make it and took it back without offering of a refund or replacement. So, bad service on top of it. read more

I was recommended this place for the smoothies and possibilities of seeing celebrities at this location . The strawberry matcha was amazing! It's very small inside with a long walkway to order and only one picnic table style seat. The view in the back is amazing of the Santa Monica mountains. It's in a plaza area with many other businesses. A lot of seating outside and it was a beautiful day like it usually is in this area. Service was good. I could tell this was in an upscale area by the energy of the people around. The cashier tried to explain to me on a couple smoothies I asked about but just described them as "different" with no real explanation. When I got my smoothie though they gave me two cups so I got the excess that was in the blender. I would recommend this place for sure. read more

After all these years of enjoying the delicious acai bowls and shakes. As everything everywhere prices have inflated. I was totally fine with the $20 price tag for the yummy bowls but now they are skimping on them big time. The last 3 times I've ordered, the bowls have basically been cut in half! Came in on Friday 9/6 at 15:00 and ordered 2 smoothies. When my order was called, I walked up to get them and the chick with the tattoo on her forearm walked away for some reason causing me to wait. So I asked for it and she replied, "it's right there" as if she expected me to reach over the tall glass that was in the way or go outside to grab them myself through the window or something. And then on top of that, I was missing a drink and when I asked about it she said she would make me a new one. Idk what happened to the old one? As 5-10 minutes go by, I never heard my order get called once again so I went to go check up on the drink and the same numb skull employee that was supposed to make my new drink was nowhere to be found. I had to go ask another employee about it just to find out it's been sitting in the blender the whole time. So you mess my order up not once, not twice, but three times. solid acai bowl spot! the only reason why i'm giving this 4 stars is because i feel like the price point doesn't really match the quality. my boyfriend got a mango/pineapple smoothie (i forgot the name and price) and i got the samurai bowl. the bowl was about $20 total which i don't think is worth it. although they did give alot and it tasted amazing, it wasn't anything special and i feel like id just stick to Blue Bowl. but if you're in the area, i think it's worth trying! it's in malibu mart and the place is so fun to be in and hang around! workers were also very nice. read more

So, mostly hit the other two locations near me in Thousand Oaks and the other Malibu location on Cross Creek....but hit this spot the other day in route to Zuma Beach! Really did not live up to the standard to other locations and most in my group were disappointed to say the least! The Avocado toast was good, other then that all bowls and shakes we tried were a solid miss and mostly left unfinished! Maybe it was just a very bad day for this location or something. My friend and I shared the Brazilian Bowl after a short hike nearby. I'm glad we shared because it was really filling. The bowl was pretty big - the açaí was so good! But the majority of the bowl was filled with granola, which is why it was so filling. The strawberries and bananas on top were fresh and sweet. The store is narrow but there's outside seating. The açaí bowl came out quickly and the workers were nice. I would come back again! read more

The smoothies here are really good, however I went with my three friends and we each got a smoothie. I ordered mine first, and then waited over 10 minutes for my friends smoothies to be finished, mind you we were the only people in the store the entire time!! One guy took the trash out while the other girl was doing the dishes. Nobody was making the rest of the drinks!!! I drank my whole entire drink while waiting for my friends smoothies. Today was my first time. Menu is rich. They have shakes and juices and some other organic stuff. I tried Malibu Sunrise. It was delicious, order was easy, they took my phone no to text me when it's ready. It wasn't super busy but it took over 10 mins to have it. At least I did not have to wait inside. It's not icy, however since it was a hot day it melted and became watery way too fast. The pink cloud smoothie tastes like the blended fruits with no added sugar. I tasted mostly of the dragon fruit. It didn't taste sweet at all and I wasn't expecting that since it had banana. If you're looking for a sweet smoothie, this isn't for you. Benny helped make sure everything was ready right on time, which honestly made a big difference with a bunch of tired players and parents trying to keep things moving between games. What stood out was how easy and positive the whole interaction was. Benny clearly runs a tight ship and the people working there reflect that. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and on top of things. Benny even stepped in to improve the throughput for all smoothies. When someone treats their job like they own the place, that's special. That's shareholder / owner behavior, not staff behavior. It starts with values, with leading and being consistent in following those values. The outcome is culture, and that creates true scale of the vision and every team member adopting the culture. This is actually the first time I've experienced this level of service at a grocery store, so I figured it was worth mentioning. If Benny hired these folks, he's doing something right. The second I asked about the new membership tiers and she wasn't sure then she was surprised at my level. I got clarification around the program from someone at my store, and she showed me where vip line is. It just wasn't a vibe I've been used to over any of the stores I've been to. Maybe it's calabasas, idk. I can say I went. 8 down, 3 to go. Ya, Erewhon is probably my personality atp. Ah well, there's worse things!
