All "yum words" in John world...and boy, it hit the spot. Fresh, warm, toasty, clean, crispy... more yum words. It came with a basic side salad, just lettuce and carrot shavings, but it worked, especially with the ginger dressing. Very good size too: half now, half later as "lefties" and 1/2 the Cal's are my jam. I'm typically a full-flavor, spice-forward guy, but this hit the spot. If they had sun-dried tomatoes and I'd added bacon... 10/10. Without, still a solid 8.5! Throw in a pickle slice? 9.0. All good though, I'll be back. Cool little shopping center too. I'll have to bring my wife next time but avoid the "cute" store shopping if I want to stay on budget. There were so many items to choose from, but ultimately, I decided on the crab and shrimp salad, and my husband got the halibut plate (with a side salad and fries). My crab & shrimp salad was incredible! I was a little bit hesitant because I'm not a big seafood person, but the crab was delicious, fresh, and I think this meal converted me to make a seafood lover! Of note, I am dairy free and the salad does not have dairy in it! I got the vinaigrette on the side. I also added a LITTLE touch of hot sauce that was on the table and it was perfect My husband got the halibut and he said it was 7 out of 10! It had good flavor overall. The side salad and fries were solid! Overall, the view was amazing (plenty of seating options!) and the parking wasn't an issue either! It's such a good way for people to meet the dogs in person--and for the dogs to get a day filled with sunshine, snacks, and all the love they can soak up. And every time we're there, Deb swings by to meet the pups and help us boost them on social. She's the best. The Market itself has such an easy, happy vibe. Produce, flowers, avocado toast, vintage finds--you name it. And of course, that classic Malibu weather doesn't hurt. It's usually good...and often downright perfect.

I ordered the pink cloud smoothie and Brazilian bowl (original acai bowl). I think the acai bowls are worth the price. It's not icy, however since it was a hot day it melted and became watery way too fast. The pink cloud smoothie tastes like the blended fruits with no added sugar. I tasted mostly of the dragon fruit. It didn't taste sweet at all and I wasn't expecting that since it had banana. If you're looking for a sweet smoothie, this isn't for you. Overall, SunLife Organics definitely uses fresh real fruit and is natural tasting. I recommend for those who are health conscious.
