When I walked in, I was shocked at how horrible this place looks, it's like a hoarder's paradise. There was an older Asian couple at the back. He came up front and I told him what I needed. He wrote my phone number on a tiny piece of paper. He never asked for my name or gave me some type of receipt. He said my clothes would be ready on Wednesday May 20, 2026. I called on Friday May 22, 2026 and his wife answered the phone. Her accent was extremely heavy and she kept asking me to repeat myself. She finally said you come now, need tell something and I could hear her husband also saying the same thing. I told them I don't have a car and to please just tell me what you need to tell me. I then asked "Did you lose my clothes and they got very quiet. NEVER go to this place, just based on the looks of the business, I shouldn't have, but that was my mistake. I ordered my dress online at Cocomelody. It was beautiful, but definitely too long. I had about 4 inches of dress at the bottom that I kept stepping on when trying to walk. I decided to check out Tina's while I was visiting my parents in Killeen. I wanted to keep my wedding dress away from my house so my future husband couldn't see it. I called first and they said they were open with shortened hours on Saturday. My sister and I went in Saturday morning, and the sign outside indicates masks are required. Nice work staying safe! No one else was in the shop so Tina saw us immediately. She led me to the back to try on my dress so she could mark the changes she thought I'd need. She could immediately see the length was a problem, and told me fixing that should be simple. However, upon further inspection of my dress she noted the bottom layers were sewn together; she would have to unstitch them to make the changes. Plus, the top didn't quite fit: the arm holes were a bit too big, and the back sagged a little. It wasn't a horrible look, but when Tina lifted the back and made the fit more secure, my sister noticed a big difference. Tina went over all the alterations I needed repeatedly so it was clear what she was going to do. We established a time, (about 2 weeks before my wedding date in case I wanted anything altered), she told me a price, we agreed, and then she wrote me a receipt to be paid when I picked up my finished dress. I got a call a few days later saying my dress was already ready to be picked up! She finished nearly a week earlier than scheduled. Again, I brought my sister to see me try on my dress and she was blown away. I immediately noticed the fit was better. The changes seemed so subtle on the outside, but my dress felt like mine. Tina did great work and I looked amazing! If you need alterations, I highly recommend this shop.

The inseam was a bit lengthy and needed to be taken in for a proper fit. I took the pants to Tina and she was very nice and friendly as she emerged from her workshop behind the busy counter. All I needed was a basic hem with a full break and no cuff so that the pant legs weren't dragging into my heels. I was truly comfortable with leaving my slacks there and thought in the end it would be fine because I would look less like an unprofessional buffoon wearing ill-fitting pants. When I got the garment back I couldn't even tell if any work had been done, because the work was flawless. It's as if she went back to the pants store and found the perfect pants in my exact measurements, or better yet, she went to the factory and hand-crafted these pants just for me. The best part was that she charged a fair amount! YIKES! Extremely reasonable, especially for the services requested and prompt turnaround time as promised. I have had MANY pants altered at various locations and have only once been charged a rush fee (because it was a rush order) -- I would go back to this store.

Look, I get it. This shop is run by an elderly Korean lady, so there's going to be some things…read morethat are lost in translation. I'm part Korean. My grandmother spoke broken English during the 40 years she was in Texas - so I'm not exactly insensitive to cultural differences. But when those differences leave my friend in tears as she sat in the parking lot of Ms Lees Cleaners because Ms Lee told her to "skip a meal" - that's when I feel compelled to say something. A little about my friend. She is NOT fat by ANY means (and even if she was, it does not give Ms Lee any right to insult anyone's body type)! She works out daily, she lifts weights, she's a certified trainer - let's just get that out of the way. So for Ms Lee to blame my friend's physique and telling her to "suck it in" instead of actually altering the dress and letting it out by half an inch, it was low and incredibly unprofessional. Further, suggesting that my friend "skip a meal" so she can fit into a dress that just needed a simple alteration by a self-proclaimed seamstress is.... I can't even find the right words, because the entire situation is insulting and absurd.
