Some alterations done in a pinch and I called probably 25 different places throughout the Austin area and I decided to call around two places in Killeen since per capita there are probably more alteration shops due to the military base. No one wanted to help me out anywhere that I called until I called this place and they allowed me to bring my item in and did exceptional work. They didn't overcharge me for the work, and they were very fast with work. I then came back and brought more items to them to get work done and they worked very fast. I will continue to come back here because this is exactly what good customer service and an excellent alteration shop / dry cleaning shop is about.

Two things: The sign on the tellie stating we always appreciate five star reviews on Google/Yelp... Have an issue, let it's fix it. Negative reviews don't let us fix it. --This weirds me out because business owners have searched for me in the past because of reviews. I appreciate the drive to fix issues, but this just doesn't make me comfortable. Also (this is not the laundromat's fault), there are some WEIRD people here: one car was backed into a space where two people sat and appeared to be drinking as if they were at home. Another man had his nasty bare feet propped out the driver's side window of his car. --I get that waiting is boring but for the love of everything good in this world, put on some shoes and lay down the booze. Look, I get it. This shop is run by an elderly Korean lady, so there's going to be some things…read morethat are lost in translation. I'm part Korean. My grandmother spoke broken English during the 40 years she was in Texas - so I'm not exactly insensitive to cultural differences. But when those differences leave my friend in tears as she sat in the parking lot of Ms Lees Cleaners because Ms Lee told her to "skip a meal" - that's when I feel compelled to say something. A little about my friend. She is NOT fat by ANY means (and even if she was, it does not give Ms Lee any right to insult anyone's body type)! She works out daily, she lifts weights, she's a certified trainer - let's just get that out of the way. So for Ms Lee to blame my friend's physique and telling her to "suck it in" instead of actually altering the dress and letting it out by half an inch, it was low and incredibly unprofessional. Further, suggesting that my friend "skip a meal" so she can fit into a dress that just needed a simple alteration by a self-proclaimed seamstress is.... I can't even find the right words, because the entire situation is insulting and absurd. Don't take your daughters here, don't bother coming here to have a clothing item taken out - unless, of course, you want to be subjected to body shaming.
