So when I had a shirt that I needed altered for work, I just automatically took it to them. I asked them to take it in, hem the bottom (and still include the last button) and shorten the sleeves...the lady had me put it on and pinned everything EXACTLY how I wanted it. My husband picked it up for me the following week and it does NOT fit the way I had asked. She hemmed it way too short and got rid of that bottom button and she didn't even touch the sleeves!
