I would give C! Opticians and Tony 10 stars, if that was an option…read more Tony offers a curated experience to selecting the perfect pair of frames. Buying a good pair of glasses is an investment. Even with a mask on, it's the one part of your face that's always visible. Tony has a passion for what he does and is completely honest when making recommendations. My husband was looking for new frames but didn't have a pair or brand in mind. He simply described what he was looking for and Tony was able to manifest his vision. While telling Tony what he were looking for, I mentioned my husbands broken, and supposedly unrepairable, glasses. Tony suggested I bring them in. Within a week, I had the glasses back in one piece. A pair of $2000 Fred glasses that another optician told me may as well be tossed was now looking as good as new. Needless to say, my husband couldn't have been more pleased to have his favorite glasses back and finding a new gorgeous frame.

RE: I & Eye Optical, 50 Kennedy Road South, Brampton, ON, 905-497-3993…read more They test people eyes that are free of charge , but charge them a fee of $40; upon completion of the eye exam, the Optician and those at the office, will not give you the prescription - they say that they need to keep it on file. What they are basically doing is not giving the prescription so the people can shop around for glasses, they want you to be bound to buy they glasses; so they claim the fee charged will go towards the purchase of the glasses from them.

I recently visited to replace the lenses in my glasses after my old ones got scratched, and since…read moremy prescription had slightly changed, it felt like the right time to update. I still love the frames I got two years ago, so a lens replacement made the most sense. Most places quoted really high prices for my prescription strength, but this spot was quite reasonable. Ramandeep was skilled and great at adjusting my glasses so they fit my face perfectly. I also brought in a couple of other frames that were misaligned that I didn't purchase there, and she fixed them up in a jiffy. One pair had been badly twisted after I accidentally knocked them into a door, and the few optical stores I asked were hesitant to help in case they break it. She managed to adjust them so they're at least wearable again - what a pro! From the brief look they have a nice curated selection of designer frames I see including sunglasses too. Though I didn't look too closely since I wasn't in the market for new eye glasses but they look nice lots of neutral ones I can see wearing. Note the entrance looks small, I accidentally went into the next door convenience store almost.

I returned to this establishment to realize that the staff and ownership had changed and decided to…read moregive this ownership a go as I had always had top notch service in the past. What initially seemed friendly customer service turned into a big disappointment. Firstly, my prescription sunglasses were not correct and had to wait two more weeks. Then, I realized that the sample sunglasses that I had tried on in my initial visit were the ones I was given. These are glasses that had been worn and tried by other customers prior to me however I did not pay for sample prices and at no time was I told that these glasses were the ones I was buying. These glasses had a scratch on the arms, were wobbly including they were unbalanced. I expressed my disappointment and was told that the scratch was probably done when the lens was changed. Funny I remember that dent being there when I tried the sample and the arm issues too, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and said nothing. I told them I had wanted to leave them as was promised that they would contact their supplier (which later I was told was on holidays) and advised to take them with me as they felt I had already waited too long for my sunglasses and would make every effort to rectify the matter. I believed them. After my multiple follow up calls, I had one call back stating they would make good on their promise. However, months later (purchase was made in May) and more calls, I still haven't heard from them. Customer satisfaction seems to truly not be their mandate. Very disappointed. Needless to say I will not be returning and not recommending this establishment.
