Wanted to send some recognition to the Manager Sandra who assisted my wife and I today. A couple of…read moremonths ago my wife purchased for me some some Oakley Holbrook glasses. Unknowingly, she purchased the XL versions which were quite a bit to large for my liking. There was a BOGO deal and so she got one for my birthday in May and saved one for Fathers Day in June. Unfortunately, time passed by and we were unable to make it back to Sunglass Hut timely enough to be within their return policy. Sandra articulated the company stance being well outside of policy, but then asked a few more questions where we articulated our situation as described above. Because we weren't asking for a refund and were hoping simply for an exchange, Sandra offered to help us out an exchange the glasses. Not only did she assist to exchange, but she helped us swap for what I really wanted and we created a custom set of Oakley's in the Red color I've been seeking. We were ecstatic... but it got better, Sandra realized that we made the purchase on a BOGO deal, and even discounted the glasses to the percent off promo that was going on at the time, well above expectation. In doing the swap, we felt fortunate enough that Sandra was going to assist us, but to help customize the one pair I wanted most and give us the deal we received a couple months back with out us asking, I thought that was well above expectations and incredible service. My wife and I would like to once more thank Sandra for her fantastic service, her willingness to assist a customer that was outside of the policy when she wasn't required to, and for going out of her way to help us custom order those Oakley Holbrooks. You've got earned a long term customer.

I'm partial to the high key XL. I have a round face so I need larger frames and they have plenty of options. I scored a pair for $39 regular $89. I enjoy the quality of their frames and will be a repeat customer.

The staff here are all very nice and patient. They are excellent at communicating with you especially with all of the different exam tests you are required to do. I just have to say... I needed my glasses tightened. After spending hundreds of dollars at The Eye…read moreInstitute for my eye appointment, which I do annually, I was told that they would tighten my sunglasses. But what they do is make you pick up your prescription at the place that sells the eyeglasses. When I went in there, they were going to charge me $15 to tighten my sunglasses. Even after all the money I spent... They still felt that necessary to charge me $15 so I didn't do it. I decided I would rather give that money to a different company since I felt that it was very petty, considering how much money has been spent at The Eye Institute over the years. That being said, I went to have these tightened. They popped out the lenses, tightened the stems, cleaned the lenses, and then even tightened the screws on my glasses. When I reached for my wallet, I was told that it wouldn't cost me anything. I explained I had every intention of paying and wanted to at least give the technician some money, but he refused. THIS is what good customer service looks like. The fact that they were willing to do this makes me realize that I need to be changing eye doctors. I was very impressed with their customer service.

My daughter is 5 and was recommended to have a full eye exam by her school. All other optometrist either 1. Didn't exam children under 6 (including target, Stanton etc) 2. Never heard of my insurance before and didn't bother to find out more or 3. Had a 5+ month appointment due to only seeing children 1x a week. I called them up and they said as long as my child knew her ABC's and 123's she'd be okay. I went in and the staff were friendly, helpful and incredibly patient. They ended preforming an eye exam with shapes easier for my daughter to identify. The Dr was so incredibly patient with my child who got nervous and cried/screamed because she required the eye drops. The Dr was so professional and took her time for my child to get comfortable. The techs and staff using the machine to look into her eyes were also incredibly patient (my kiddo can't keep her head still to save her life). And to top it off the front desk called my insurance directly to get confirmation of my coverage and everything else they needed so I wouldn't have to worry about sending in a reimbursement and paying 400+ out of pocket. The glasses were a bit pricy but I added all the bells and whistles (that was on me) and I still think the service and product are worth it. Also the kid selection had a wide variety! My daughter got the glasses she loved! Edited my kiddo for privacy
