I went here to replace a pair of Oakley sunglasses I had that broke. This store, perhaps not…read moresurprisingly, had a better selection of Oakley sunglasses than any of the other places I had been in the area. They also had other Oakley products including clothing and luggage/backpacks. In examining their extensive selection, I was able to come up with a better idea of what I wanted. Their sales staff did a great job of explaining the different lenses and told me that if they didnt have want I wanted on the shelf, they could customize a pair of sunglasses for me. This is what I ended up doing. Unfortunately, the store was missing the lenses I wanted, so the helped me place my order online. A week later, Oakley's web site still said my order was being processed; this came after the sales rep told me that ones ordered online would have free 2 day shipping. I called Oakley (the people I placed my online order with) and they explained they were missing some of the parts needed to make my sunglasses, and that it would be several weeks before they were in stock. I needed the sunglasses by a certain date, 3-4 weeks after I visited their store, so they told me they would cancel my order, refund my money, give me lenses I wanted for free in the mail, and that I could go and buy a pair at this store. What great customer service, and so generous! When I got to the store, I met the person Oakley online had talked to and was familiar with my situation. They helped me customize the pair of sunglasses I wanted with different lenses; all this cost $30 less than my online order (the lenses were not as good, but these will be my backup lenses once the others come in so I dont mind). I was able to walk out of the store with sunglasses I liked, knowing I had saved money and I was still getting the lenses I wanted for free. Overall, I found their customer service to me top notch. The employees in the store explained the different options in customizing my own sunglasses and showed me the differences between different lenses. They even had cards that they showed me to explain what different lenses do and what they look like and stuff. They really did a great job, and I applaud them for their efforts. In contrast, other sunglasses stores I went to took the attitude "this is what we have, hope you like it" and that was about it. Before I went to any store, I looked online with the intent of buying there. Having been to this store, I lost any interest in buying online, even if it meant I could save some money. This is the place you want to buy your sunglasses, I highly recommend them.

There was a deal 15% off 2 pairs so got a new pair of glasses and sunglasses for less than the last pair of glasses I bought and hated with insurance. They don't take insurance, but that's ok because their pricing is better all in than most insurance plans in my past experience. There is a 30 day return policy if you are not pleased with your selections one you get them. And a 6 month scratch cover on lenses. This place was bustling a steady stream of people in and out so plan accordingly.

We went into the store and my husband and I browsed the shoes. Two girls were working one…read moreapproached and asked what if she could help get a size for me. I knew exactly what I wanted so I had no need for her to assist. I showed my husband the styles in the shoes I liked and the size range I would need based off the mm of the heel. The customer service was fine in store but the service we got a few months later was above and beyond. So my husband surprised me with a pair for my birthday in October. They were perfect! The Clare leopard print 80 mm. They were the ones I've been wanting since their release. The only thing was the size the were just a bit to big. So my husband said we can exchange them the next day no problem. So we called the St. Louis location to purchase another size or at least have them held until we could get up there the next day. Well they didn't have my size but the woman working in the shoe department said she would reach the New York location and have them hold that size needed and we could just call and pay for them once they're held. The New York location was the only one that had my size. Due to the time difference they were already closed! But, she assured us she would keep trying to reach them but informed us they would be closed the following day for a private event and couldn't be reached, so I would have to wait a day or two before they could reach the New York location to hold them. I decided to just return the shoes and then order them via phone. My husband purchased the shoes and had them mailed to our home. The return policy that Saks stands by with their shoes is 30 days. When he purchased them it was mid September and he gave them to me mid October but it was a few days past the 30 day mark. We spoke with a gentleman who allowed us to return the shoes despite it being over their policy date and we were extremely appreciative of his help and consideration of our situation. The woman (if I remember right is Jamie) did a great job in trying to help as well in contact the NY store. I love that they both went above and beyond to help us and to make my birthday surprise a great experience from beginning to end.

The stock in the men's department was disappointing, now I know why - they weren't paying suppliers and many vendors had stopped sending them clothes. The designers that were featured were only for hip-hop and athletic styles. Gone were the elegant clothes I was expecting. I bought some sunglasses last year and the associate told me that my purchase had two automatic…read morewarranties: "oops" coverage that expired after a year and lost/stolen coverage. My sunglasses were stolen at a restaurant and so I contacted Sunglass Hut to start the process of paying for a 50% off replacement. The phone number for this Sunglass Hut was not correct (on any form of social media) and so I contacted corporate via email and phone. I found out the lost/stolen coverage was something that had to be signed up for after purchase, although the associate had told me it came automatically. Corporate agreed that the store should honor the 50% off but that I would still have to contact the regional manager about it. Finally, after a month, the store manager calls me and tells me they can't help, even after I explained my situation and why the discount should be honored. This company and particular store doesn't care about their customers and their associates will say anything for a sale. Unfortunately, the only reason I chose to purchase at Sunglass Hut (even though they were more expensive) was because of the lost/stolen warranty offered, so they've lost any loyalty I would have from them. I would not recommend buying from this store. I wouldn't even recommend buying from this company at all since corporate can't hold their stores to any standard. They've lost my business and that of anyone I can convince to purchase their glasses elsewhere.
