****************RUDE**************** I WILL NEVER DO…read moreBUSINESS HERE!!! I called the Pearl Vision in Dalton, Ga several weeks ago and spoke to the Hispanic girl who answered the phone. I told her that I was looking for the Silhouette brand rimless frames and she said that they carried them so I asked if they could make the lenses wider to accommodate my wider face and she said she would check. She put me on hold then came back on the line and said that they could do it. So I said let's go ahead with scheduling me an appointment. The only date available was Christmas Eve at 10:15 so I agreed that would work. Fast forward to my appointment, my fiancé and I get there early so I can try on frames. We walk in and was greeted by the Hispanic girl that I spoke to on the phone. We told her that I was there for my appointment, she asked for my insurance card so I gave it to her. We started looking at frames for a few minutes and the Hispanic girl calls us back over to the front desk to ask us to sign the paperwork for the exam expenses. I politely declined to sign until I could double check and make sure they could accommodate my need for the extra wide lenses as I have ran into this problem at other doctors where they "lock me in" so I cannot go anywhere else to get my frames covered by my insurance. The older lady sitting next to her that took my email information (Holly) then rudely said that I had to sign and that I was responsible for the cost no matter what and that the frames were a completely separate thing. We calmly tried to explain our situation 2 more times, each time she got louder and more hateful, demanding that I go ahead and sign. All in front of the hispanic girl and another customer sitting right behind me. Finally, she told us to talk to the optician who was across the room. The optician was polite but told us they did not have a technician who could make custom lenses even though we were told they could over the phone. I told her how rude Holly was and she was very quick to apologize and said she would have a talk with her. On my way out the door I turned to Holly and said "ma'am, next time don't be so rude." Then she yells sarcastically across the building "Merry Christmas, Sir." I left and I will never do business here because I do not like liars, having my time wasted, and having to deal with rudeness on top of it all. Hopefully management will make some changes in staff.

I was in th store shopping the other evening and was trying to determine if a bed frame that was in the store was king or queen: The clerk didn't know what size the bed frame was so he contacted the manager who immediately ran and grabbed a tape measure. She pulled out the items in front of it and helped me determine the size and informed me that it also had tall posts that went along with it. Well, that determined that I couldn't use it but that only worked to prompt her to tell me about others that haven't been put out yet. She showed me one that was ready to go out soon and it turned out to be the perfect one! She also helped me locate a vacuum and several totes that I've been in desperate need of and all with genuine care and concern. She really made my day! I'll be shopping there again (and soon)!

She said okay and did not mention any extra charges. After everything was done, they charge me $45 for a blow out + 47$ for hairstyle. It was a surprise charge of $92. What is the point of charging for a blowout if I am getting tongs and braids in my hair? On their website, blowout is quoted as $21 as an add-on. Which she should have charged . Why would a hairdresser do a blowout, When that makes the hair all silky, and the tong curls wont stay. The curls were gone even before I left the hair Salon and she had to do it again, and they were again gone within 10 minutes. I spoke to manager about the experience, and she was condescending saying "i dont know where you get your hair done from" When I told her, you can't charge for blowdry and updo both together. . I went to get ready for a family wedding, and everyone told me that I look like I have a $92 nest on my head. The braid was even lopsided and embarrassing. Attached are photos of what I asked for, and what I got for $92. Also what a blowout addon SHOULD have been IF it had been quoted in the beginning. Very dissapointing experiance, do not recommend.
