They made an appt for me (it was months later as they were booked solid) I went through another eye exam and was told that since they could correct my vision 100% through glasses, I was not qualified because insurance wouldn't cover surgery. OK. As I was leaving, I had to pay my copay (not cheap!), and it was submitted for insurance. And guess what? Insurance didn't cover the opthalmologist visit because it was a non-referred specialist. Um yeah - Jasper Eye Associates made the appt....wouldn't that be a referral? Sigh. This appears to be the only eye game in town and I still can't see.

They asked to speak to me privately at first, to make sure I wasn't being abused, which is wonderful & I support that. However they had him in & out & in & out over & over again & had to share everything with me first & I had to give my explicit consent every step of the way for him to be allowed in the rooms with me. They could see that I was not being abused but they kept pushing the issue again & again. That made him & I both very upset. I would recommend you come in for a pregnancy test & ultrasound if needed but no more, & come alone because the hassle is not worth it. I would also recommend you don't go by the due date they give you because chances are it will be incorrect.

First impressions yes it's a old house turned into a office. No different than you'd find in a big city in the older communities. But inside you can tell it has been professionally redone to work as a dentist office. The staff was friendly, receptive and helpful. Dr Craig was friendly and knowledgeable. Actually going out of his way to ensure I had the correct care, the proper paperwork for the Va and ensuring that my follow ups where timely to get procedures finished. As of now he has been able to complete a difficult root canal on a molar. Which btw most dentist cannot and you'd have to see specialist. I have had two teeth prepped for crowns. I am set shortly to have the crowns finished and my implant started from the VA finished. Without their go getter attitude and helpfully was I can say without a doubt this is something time wise in the past has taken a year to complete through the VA and has been done in a matter of two months through his office. With them getting the approvals setup and trying to make it as stressless as possible. I will update my review when I have my work complete. But so far it has been an overall Positive experience. Not something that I can say has happened throughout my dental work from my explosion. It has been nice to have a positive experience especially with the trauma involved. I would highly recommend giving them a try. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. And they are Service Dog Friendly.

Dr. Craig Ajmo is the worst dentist I've ever been to. Unfortunate because he and his wife are…read morenice people, otherwise. After spending upwards of $10,000.00, I have a bridge that doesn't blend in well, a front molar that was drilled out so thinly, it disintegrated and can't be repaired (aside from an implant), and an incisor (obviously visible) that was also drilled out too thinly, which has now broken off. The incisor needed a root canal, which he mistakenly filled with a temporary. When I made another appointment to ask why a 'dark filling' was used in a front, non-biting tooth, I was told, "Oh, oops! ... I got sidetracked and put a temporary in by mistake." This error prompted further drilling to remove the remains of the temporary (which was never completely removed - it still left the tooth looking dark), thus leaving it far too thin and fragile. Now, I'll have to spend several thousand dollars for implants to repair the damage Dr. Ajmo created. My advice ... go elsewhere!

Unprofessional and Unethical…read more I'll preface this review with my daughter had a healthy, safe delivery after getting her to the hospital. However, I give no credit to her midwife, Sarah Boswell or her assistant, Holly. I found them both unprofessional and unethical. While some of the examples of unprofessionalism and lack of ethics are from my first meeting with Boswell, it was the labor and delivery experience that I found most troubling as both midwives employed manipulative and bully tactics to deter any change to the birthing plan. I met Boswell several months before the delivery at the invitation of my daughter. One of the first things she said to me, upon learning I had epidurals and delivered all three of my children in a hospital was "Let me tell you, when a woman chooses to not use pain medication, she can own her birthing experience." At that same visit, Boswell told us how Britain had a much higher live birth rate and were encouraging more home births. She denounced hospitals as being too quick to do Cesarean sections in order to get more money. This was an easy enough stat to investigate and I found numerous studies in reputable journals that all credited Britain's higher live birth rate to the fact that they almost exclusively use C-sections to deliver. This was more than misunderstanding the data, it was a calculated fabrication meant to mislead her client. Toward the end of this meeting, Boswell, learning that we own a farm and I like senior animals, commented that she had a horse who was about 30 years of age and required soft food. She then said "I've thought about slipping our vet a hundred dollars to tell my daughter the horse needs to be put down." Maybe she was joking, but it was very unprofessional to say. During the early stages of labor, Boswell gave my daughter some exercises to do to help with labor and the position of the baby. This was called the mile circuit. One of those exercises, the inversion, required her to place her knees on the edge of the couch and lean down to the floor, putting stress on her respiratory system. She wanted my daughter to hold that pose for 10 minutes. This, at best seemed useless and at worst, physically stressful. After being in labor for 36 hours, my son-in-law made the decision that the delivery needed to happen in the hospital. My daughter was delirious from pain and exhaustion. Her water had been broken for a while and the risk of infection was increasing, while there was no progress on delivery. Boswell was evasive about how much progress was being made during delivery. After two hours of hard pushing, she said that she could feel the baby's head and using her finger to demonstrate, said the baby was "this far" from coming out. She used the first two digits of her middle finger as a visual, indicating about two inches. About two hours later, when my daughter asked for an update, all Boswell would say was "she's getting close." I, using my middle finger as a visual to indicate about two inches, said "You said before she was this close, is she any closer?" Boswell gave me a dirty look then said "no." When Boswell and Holly realized the hospital was a real possibility, they began using scare tactics and fear-mongering to get my daughter to change her mind. With me in the room, Boswell repeatedly said she probably wouldn't have time for an epidural. Holly actually told my daughter she might end up being given fentanyl instead of an epidural. Knowing how potent fentanyl is, for her to bring this up was nothing short of trying to terrify my daughter. I asked the hospital nurses if fentanyl was ever an option and they looked shocked but said in very, very rare instances it might be used for severe pain. Boswell repeatedly told my daughter that she was so close to having the baby, she should continue to try. At this point, my daughter had no strength left and couldn't even grip my hand when she "pushed." She hadn't had the strength for more than an hour to push. Boswell and Holly said she'd only been pushing for an hour, but the reality was my daughter had been pushing for at least four hours and was exhausted. Neither of them noticed that my daughter hadn't been pushing at all. I knew she hadn't been pushing because I was holding her legs and her hand. There was no pressure from either of those. By contrast, once we got her to the hospital, she was given an epidural and told to rest. About an hour after this, active labor began and when she pushed, I held her legs and could actually feel how hard she was pushing. Their lack of ethics and adherence to best practices make them a liability.

Addressing the 1 star review as the actual person giving birth. my experience with Sarah was…read moreexceptional! Sarah was absolutely magnificent the entire pregnancy and birth. Any time I had a concern she was quick to respond and able to give me sound holistic advice which was what I wanted. My parents disagreed with my home birth from the get go and went into it without an open mind. I had a very healthy pregnancy amd only had to do a hospital transfer due to exhaustion. my baby was crooked and there was no way for even the hospital to know that. Im glad I labored at home for as long as I did because if I had gone to the hospital they would've wanted to do petocin or a c-section which were both off the table for me. Sarah was the one to suggest the hospital after a very long time of pushing, and she had previously tested me for Strep-B to ensure I could labor for an extended time as a first time mom (which she informed me well in advance could happen). She constantly monitored mine and babies heart rate to ensure we were both healthy. I would definitely recommend her as a midwife and I would recommend home birth as well! Sarah came with us to the hospital and ensured me that my birth was no less than any other and constantly checked on me throughout postpartum. Eventhough my birth did not go as planned (which hospital transfers were talked about as a possibility due to me being a first time mom) I enjoyed the entire process of my pregnancy's and labor with Sarah. The negative review is more towards Sarah than Holly as she was the assistant during my birth and not in during the entire pregnancy however she was still very helpful and great especially since she came at like 12am even though she did not have to. All in all my birth experience may have not gone the way I wanted but I felt safe and comfortable the entire time with Sarah and Holly.
