I went last time with my niece. My niece was crying and the dentist did not do anything with her. We got charged $90 for visit. Not worth!

I am thinking about switching doctors and leaving this clinic after 15+ years of being a loyal…read morepatient. In the past 6 times where I had my teeth cleaned, the hygienist is always someone new. In the last 3 times, I had the hygienist digging into my gums trying purposely to make me bleed and then blame me for sensitive gums. The gouges they leave in the teeth afterward makes it easy for food to get stuck in even weeks after the cleaning. The first time; I had scratches in my teeth from the tools use that I can still visibly feel with my tongue (I suspect one of which has been there since 2023) . The second time, the gum lining never grew back, and I developed 4 new gum holes where I need to floss extra hard every time because it became that much wider after a teeth cleaning. And the 3rd time, I am convinced they are trying to make me bleed ON PURPOSE. In a gum testing, one blonde hygienist managed to get all 28 teeth bleeding by purposing digging at my gums from front to back with a metal tool and then record it on file, citing that I have inflammation and therefore bleeds, always. Mind you, that's never been the case at home. I also don't happen to brush my teeth with metal, so professionals should bear that in mind when you DIG my gums. I was told by the doctor that I need no less than $2800 for X-ray, deep clean, laser, arestin (11 antibiotic needles inserted between my gums) to get full care. They ask for me to pay out of pocket. I do not think I will be coming back for the 15th year.... Same doctor, different practice. It has changed a lot since my childhood. Very sad. I feel I will take my damaged mouth elsewhere to look for a cure.

It is genuinely hard to put into words the disbelief I felt during our visit to this practice. While we chose this office because they accept 1199SEIU insurance, the experience was a profound disappointment. As a healthcare worker myself, I hold medical environments to a high standard of safety and professionalism, and what we encountered fell dangerously short of that. The issues first began at the entrance, which is cramped and ill-equipped for anyone with a stroller, requiring a difficult maneuver through two doors with almost no clearance. Ironically the practice sent an excessive number of automated reminders strictly demanding that we check in early and not be late, yet we weren't seen until 30 minutes after our scheduled time. The atmosphere of the office is notably non-secular; with multiple Torahs displayed on a console table in the waiting room, it appears the practice specifically caters to the local Jewish population. The environment felt quite chaotic, with large groups of children from other families wandering in and out of the exam hallways unchecked. The space itself is essentially one long hallway lined with plastic chairs, not at all warm or inviting for children, with no toys provided. A television mounted in the corner with a poor-quality screen was the only thing available to keep our son occupied. When we were finally called back, I was met with absolute shock. We were led into an exam room that was an active construction site, featuring exposed raw drywall, cement boards underfoot, metal mesh on the floor, and a tarp in the corner covering debris. There wasn't even a door or a curtain for basic privacy. From a clinical standpoint, this is an unacceptable infectious and respiratory hazard. Raw drywall and construction dust are not sanitary environments for dental work, where microscopic bacteria are regularly aerosolized. As someone with a sensitive respiratory system, the dust in the air caused me immediate distress. We couldn't even allow our toddler to move around because the flooring was so unsteady and dangerous. Not to mention a ginormous exposed crack in the wall that spanned from floor to ceiling. What I find most disappointing was the total lack of transparency. Not once did a staff member acknowledge the state of the room, offer an apology for the conditions, or even provide a mask for the dust. The lack of basic decency to acknowledge these conditions speaks volumes about the practice's priorities. It's clear they would rather maximize profit by seeing patients in a literal construction zone than close the room until it is safe and sterile. They couldn't wait until the room's walls and floors were at least finished? Absolutely ridiculous. While the hygienist was pleasant enough and successfully cleaned our son's teeth, the doctor's approach was frustrating. We specifically requested Dr. Kim over the phone based on her glowing reviews but were given Dr. Weinberg with no communication. She spent less than 5 minutes with us and relied on forced familiarity, using a patronizing nickname for our son rather than his actual name. This attempt to appear approachable felt like a performative tactic intended to ignore the hazard we were sitting in, and it completely failed to soothe our distressed toddler. What should have been a positive first dental milestone for our son was instead a stressful, unpleasant, and unsanitary experience. We drove a long way to come here because they accepted our insurance, but we are now looking for a new dentist. I would rather pay out-of-pocket than return to a practice that views these conditions as acceptable for patient care. It is utterly disrespectful and shows no care for human health and safety which should be paramount as a pediatric dental practice. Subjecting children as young as 12 months old, toddlers under the age of two, to these types of conditions is absolutely indefensible.

My daughter didnt even know she got a shot in her mouth. The dentist was so fast and good that I didnt even know the shot was given. They are prepared with a phone for the little ones to watch a show and be distracted and it really does work. My daughter was in and out in probably 15 minutes. The only part I didnt like is that there are no small sinks by the patients' chair so they can rinse and spit. There is a communal sink however that i believe is shared for every 2 rooms. Overall, a good experience.

My child just turned 6 years and has barely seen a pediatric dentist before. Today I bought him to the office 15mins early before the appointment, there was one patient before us and quite empty at that time. Shortly after that patient was done, the assistant called my child to do Xray for the tooth. That assistant was extreme impatient and rude. She was keep saying" Stop moving, I have more patients after you, you are wasting my time." "You are 6 years old already, you never seen a dentist?" etc..... As someone who work in a pediatric office, they should confort the child during treatment not threat or language bully the child. I felt uncomfortable for how she talk to my child at that time already. What pissed me the most was she force to put the Xray equipment into my child's mouth, my child wasn't resist at all just kept telling her that he is hurting, however she complete ignore my child, still tring to force the put the equipment in and keep rush my child. I told her to stop, the actural doctor came and ask what happend. I told doctor to check video record to confirm what's going out, she denied and told me there is no camera in the office. The way doctor handle ths complain was very perfunctory, I don't feel any apology from the doctor at that time. Such behavior and attitude from the doctor and assistant are totally unacceptable. I can't imaging this actually happend in our country.
