I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE STARS. I had an appointment for 10:00am for an annual checkup and cleaning. I even called to CONFIRM my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early. By 11:00am, all the people that arrived after me were called in. I asked the receptionist when can the dentist see me because I was the FIRST ONE here, I have an APPOINTMENT and everyone that came AFTER me has been seen. She goes in the back and said someone will be with me shortly. Eventually, someone comes to get me for x-rays and then I sent back to wait again. After another hour, I asked the receptionist what is going on? I have been here for TWO HOURS and everyone that arrived after me has been seen. This is the SECOND TIME this happened to me. There was no explanation for keeping me waiting for two hours. The receptionist and other workers don't give a crap why a patient is still in the waiting room for HOURS. They see me because waiting room is in front of their desks. The staff that came out to get the other patient sees me but they don't give a crap too. TWO HOURS later, a dental hygienist comes to get me for the cleaning. Meanwhile, she has seen me in the waiting room the entire time. The office is so unprofessional and uncaring. I don't know how this place stays in business. They treat their customers like GARBAGE. ** Do NOT use their website to make an "appointment" because it does NOT work. I initially made an appointment at the website but never received a confirmation by text message or email, so I called their office. The most god awful experience I've had at a doctor's office to date. The practice is mainly filled with hygienists that are able to clean your teeth but the doctor that actually does fillings and procedures is the only doctor they have, is only in two days of the week, is out the door by 5, and has cancelled on me a grand total of FOUR TIMES! One for the weather, one because he was leaving early, one because he was going to pick up kids, and this last time bc I was 10 minutes late for my 4:30 appointment and he needed to leave at 5. So you scheduled me for a filling but the doctor only has less than 30 minutes to do it??? Really???? Doctor apparently said "no mercy" despite the fact that I've waited to be seen for 45 minutes at a past visit and no one cared to respect my time when that happened. I've wasted multiple afternoons and idk how many sick hours on this dentist just to not be seen. It's 1000% not worth it. The reception is unhelpful and never wears masks in the office anyway. I've sent so many complaints their way bc their office is a COVID safety nightmare. The most unprofessional practice I've ever seen in my life. Don't bother. read more

I've been coming here for years against my better judgement. Only the fear of my next dentist office being worse and the fact that the pediatric dentists seemed OK had kept me here, though they churn through very fast. But the front desk is barely competent and often rude. The backend often makes mistakes in booking and deductibles etc. The wait times can be atrocious... I've waited 2 hours with no updates or a heads from the front desk. The current pediatric dentist, who send to come out of retirement to fill in, has the worst bed side manner. Most of the technicians are nice, but over worked. Also wouldn't recommend the Ortho here. He barely does anything himself, send ain't and has no time to address questions or concerns. read more

Do not use this office!! They do not know what they are doing in the front!! I went in last May 2017. My 2 year old has dental insurance and was there for a check up. Before going I gave his info and he was COMPLETELY COVERED! Matter of fact they won't see you if you're not covered! I get a letter now in March 2018 stating I owe $115. I called and spoke to LADA. She's a total B! She said that they billed the insurance company and that my son was not covered!! I called the insurance company and the rep called the dental office with me on the phone. She ripped them apart. She wanted to know why they saw him if they didn't take his insurance. They take all your insurance info before you go to make sure you're covered. It was Atlas Park Dental that did not do their job correctly. If they did they would have known that they don't take his insurance. So because of their mistake I had to pay because I signed that paper that makes me responsible. The manger dropped the bill down to $50. She knew they made a mistake and they should be shamed of themselves. I should have not had to pay. He's 2!! They just looked in his mouth. That's all!! This office are all crooks beware!!! If you're getting a regular cleaning and check up, there is no permanent doctor at this location. Meaning even if you like the experience of your first appointment, you might dislike the next. With this said, I enjoyed my first time here. I was dreading my visit to the dentist but it was better than expected. The office is huge, clean, and has the latest technology. The women at the front desk and all the people that took care of me were all kind. I had a different person for each stage: x-rays, teeth cleaning, and then the x-ray analysis. They all did their jobs fast (perhaps too quick, bordering on impersonal) but they were competent and efficient. I also got a goodie bag with a free toothbrush and floss travel case. They also had a nice bathroom and a water dispenser in the waiting room, which I always appreciate for a doctor appointment where you feel like cleaning up after. read more

Took my 3 year old here because they have all diff specialists I have been coming here for 5 years the doctors are amazing very understanding and kind I had a lot of work done and finally happy with my smile they are very advanced in dentistry my 3 year old loves coming here they play cartoons and are very sweet and patient with kids they have a very clean office very modern and the staff is so sweet there are many payment plans available and the schedule is very flexible . IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR TEETH DON'T GO HERE! I am utterly disgusted with the front desk/billing team and how they handled me and the health of my teeth here at Atlas Park Dental. I had a cleaning 3 months ago, in which they advised that I needed a deep cleaning... Front desk advised that they'd be sending out for authorization for my deep cleaning and they'd contact me to schedule an appointment... This never happened. 1 month later, I checked in only to find out that they STILL DID NOT SEND OUT FOR AUTHORIZATION!!!! Now 3 months later, I call again and they are now advising me that they know that my insurance will deny the claim, so they never sent it out. With that being said, why didn't anybody from their staff contact me? I'd rather hear that my insurance denied as opposed to you telling me you knew they'd deny! I Don't want to hear that! After all my complaining, their telephone/front desk/billing staff failed to do the one most important thing... PRACTICE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, or take accountability! I really hate this place! They just can't seem to get it together. They are very unorganized. They hang up on you when you call them, after putting you on hold. There is always a long wait. They are one of those places that just love to bill your insurance so they make you go through unnecessary procedures and x-rays. I am mostly upset because I had a bridge done there and it fell out! I brought it back and they lost it!!!! Now they are saying I can't get a new bridge because my insurance will only allow one every five years. The funniest thing is they call me back and tell me to go under my husbands insurance to redo the bridge. Yeah ok, thanks. I'll switch insurances to correct your mistake. Don't be fooled by the clean office and new technology. It's really not that special. Oh yeah, they tried to trick me into spending thousands on braces too. The oral surgeon I saw for a consultation helped me get out of that mistake. It's convenient, but not worth the hassle. Update: The dentist here that I had to go to because I had already begun the procedure and paid for it (no refunds), broke my implant. I was upset to say the least and I told them I wanted some type of money back because I did not want to continue with them. They responded by insisting that I had a problem with gums. The absolute worst, avoid if possible. First, I scheduled an appointment for my mom who showed up and was told that they made an error and forgot to contact her. Then I showed up for my appointment, this having been the first time and expecting to have x-rays taken as well as filling out a new patient information. After about 45 minutes I got up and asked how much longer, and the receptionist realized that her coworker never bothered to take down any more information, nor did she request that I fill out any forms. It seems as though the receptionists switch out frequently and don't bother to tell each other what's going on or what to do. I walked out after 45 minutes without having anything done or even bothering to see the doctor because I don't expect much from a place with such little professionalism. I don't where to begin. But, I've been going to dental park for some quite time now. I've actually recommended this place to basically all of my family members. Recently, i decided to get my daughter Invisalign. When i first started the process, they advised me it would take up to 3 weeks. It's been now 4 months and i have yet to receive an update. Every-time i called, i would get the same answer, "we will have Paulina know". However, "Paulina" is NEVER. available. She's either on a break or too busy and won't speak to anyone! I made a deposit of $500 and no one seems to know what the status of my daughters Invisalign is. I can't wait even say how many times i called, with a promise to call me back. Lies. I never got a call back. I even went as far as calling my dental insurance, Aetna, and they confirmed multiple times that no claims were submitted for Invisalign approval. This place is a mess!! I couldn't go earlier because of work and rescheduled. This is very professional decent dental office. Located in atlas park shopping plaza. We were just roaming in the plaza and saw this office which modern and pretty stylish. Walked in as one of my friend want to do cleaning. I want to do the same but I am scared from dentist lol although my best friend is dentist... lol Fortunately they had space for Walk ins for that day. Friend had cleaning which was pleasant experience. People was professional and experienced. Friend also got 2 free enamel without any cost. Seriously, which doc office will provide that. Cleaning was free from insu. But not enamel. But they did it as patients concern. Wow!!! Definitely impressed. They don't take my insurance otherwise I would have done my cleaning too. :-( Once they came to know that I am interested then doctor came to me and showed me whole clinic, explain me what they can do it professionally for me. This is not the closest dentist to where I live, but it came highly recommended by a friend. I was looking for a gentle dentist that I could trust and communicate with, as well as, someone who was truly looking out for my best interest. I found all of this and more. My insurance plan provides cleanings every 3 months through this dentist. The hygienist was gentle, so teary eyes were minimal, and she gave me good dental hygiene advice. The dentist was friendly, spoke good English, and was willing to look into affordable high quality dental work through my insurance. These were all things I didn't not have at my previous dentist. I will definitely be taking advantage of my 3 month cleanings. read more

We take our children to Atlas Park Dental. Dr. Grace Lam DDS is our Pedodontist. Dr Lam is a wonderful dentist who is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She has performed several fillings and conducted many check-ups for our boys. The only issue with the office is the appointment scheduling. Dr Lam unfortunately is only there once a week so the appointments are hard to come by. The location is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. As for the appointments, I would imagine they are better for adult patients. read more

I came here from the Bronx for an appointment with the child specialist. When we arrived at Atlas Park Dental, we were attended right away by Dr. Grace Lam and her assistant Oleg, who also works with Dr. Grace at Hutchinson Metro Dental in the Bronx and is great! My 9 year old is happy with Dr. Grace. He is looking forward to returning to finish some work and is comfortable knowing Dr. Grace will be helping him with his dental issues. It is expensive (cost of nitro gas, bridge tolls, and gas) visiting Dr. Grace in the Queens office for my 9 year old but it is worth it to have her work with him and the nitro gas to keep him calm. She explains everything to him and gives him time to relax and ask questions. PROS: DR. GRACE LAM and Oleg! Very nicely decorated. Helps you forget that you are in the dentist office. Children's room has screen tv with cartoons playing and stickers on the walls to help them feel comfortable. CONS: You must pay for parking, very small crowded waiting area. Seats are made of cloth material and are stained...kind of yukking! read more

Dr. Chung is very professional, she provides good advice for good dental health, is nice and my son likes her. The office is clean and they send you a reminder text message in advance of your appointment. However, every time my son has an appointment it's over an hour wait and for X-rays and a cleaning it's seems a bit much. First , the entire office is clean , very neat and the front desk is beautiful and organized . Second , every staff is very professional . Oksana who is the hygienist is very Professional and you can tell she really goes above and beyond . Once she's done cleaning my teeth and u was already seeing Dr Andrew , she went back to me and double checked my teeth and had concerns about me seeing the periodontist ... I have been a patient here for about 6 years or so. At first they were great! Doctors, Hygienist, Front Staff everyone in general. I have had no issues with the doctor or hygienist. But lately it has gone downhill. First they would reschedule an appointment 24 hours before the day or a few hours before the appt date and time and weren't flexible at all. Ive had my dentist appointment to see the specialist reschedule three times. I am always nice on the phone and Ive let it slide too many times but what put the cherry on the top was when I made arrangements at work to see them (again no flexibility) they call me 4 hours before the appointment time at work to say they don't take my health insurance anymore. When I asked to speak to the manager all I got was I have no idea how this happen and hung up. I honestly didnt bother to call again but I am glad they dont take my insurance any more because I was becoming fed up with the rudeness, disrespect. We all have jobs here. I am always nice on the phone and made it possible to still be a patient of theirs but if you are looking for a good dentist, I suggest look somewhere else. The sad part is that the dentist is good and so is the hygienist but the front staff and the professionalism is horrible. So watch out! read more

My kids are both patients of Dr. Grace - she is extremely patient and makes the kids feel comfortable - my son is on the autism spectrum & she and all of the staff are wonderful with him. My daughter has also been seeing Dr. PJ - the orthodontist - for braces. They are very thorough and he takes time to explain everything to you. The only downside I've experienced is that I've had to wait on a few occasions for up to 45 minutes. My teeth are in poor condition and I consider myself a challenging client; Dr. Kaznetsov has been both patient and considerate. The office is quite busy, with multiple specialists, but is run efficiently. There are no lengthy waits; I'm usually seen within ten minutes of arrival, and support staff are pleasant and friendly. Found this office through our insurance and had pretty good reviews on here, so decided to go for it. My son needed to go for his first dental appt and i was a bit nervous since he doesn't like office visits. But the DDS, Dr. __ Mitsumoto (ok, i could totally be butchering her name) was so nice, gentle and personable! She started off by showing my husband and i a slideshow of what baby teeth should look like, and samples of bad hygiene on an iPad and then she went on the clean his teeth. She was counting/singing as she went on each teeth and he didnt fuss one bit! She gave us a few tips about what we should do and at the end of the visit she made him an animal balloon of a dog walking on a leash. He also got a goodie bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and magnetized calendar. Not kiddie stuff but me/hubby can use it haha Too cute and loved the visit! First time he left a medical office laughing and not balling his eyes out. Would definitely recommend over and over again! read more
