Finally someone who actually finds my deep knots. I've been unlucky with massage therapists the past couple of years. Can't find one that actually uses their fingers versus mostly elbows, and actually finds my knots. Brad was great. Sunee is a sweet older lady and when you meet her you can't help but wonder if she's strong enough to do a good massage. My worries we're soon put to rest though because what she lacks in power she makes up for in skill and technique. She knows the pressure points and will get them with her elbows and hands. She's trained in Ayurvedic massage too so you'll notice some of those techniques which are really great. One more thing she does is use hot water bottles (just like grandma used!) on areas she's massaged to keep the muscles relaxed. Love this spa! Sunee has great quality spa products from G.M. Collins and doesn't push you to purchase them. The algomask facial is extremely soothing, relaxing and cooling. It works great on acne prone sensitive skin. Even if you have rosacea! They have monthly specials and always have great spa packages for Valentine's day and Mother's day! They usually come with tea of choice and a single rose after your massage! They offer various massage modalities, facials, wraps, etc. It is a small family business that is ran by Sunee and her husband Brad. They are both LMTs. They are great people that truly care about your experience in their spa. They're both very knowledgeable when it comes to massage. They even offer sports and pregnancy massage. They have been in Yuma for many years and I don't see them leaving any time soon. I have been a client for years and even though I live out of town I try to always take advantage of their deals when I am in town visiting family! Please be patient when you call in as it is just the two of them. Leave a voicemail and they will call you back. When they don't answer they are with a client. The spa itself is very clean, the sheets are always fresh and laundered. The atmosphere is relaxing as soon as you walk in you are greeted and they have plants and a relaxing fountain. I highly recommend them to everyone I know in Yuma! So, stop in and pamper yourself. Or fellas looking for a gift for that special lady in your life you really can't go wrong here! read more

I have received nothing short of the most professional service possible.The owners are very kind and generous people and always seem to fit me in on a moments notice when needed. The spa is very clean, bright, and cheery. They have more treatments available than any other spa in Yuma. They have ongoing monthly specials that really help the Pocketbook too. This review is based on the customer service received by the staff at Sunee Spa, not the services, which I was never afforded the chance to experience. My fiancé bought me a gift certificate for Sunee's in Nov. 2014 and I tried calling to make an appointment, left a message and didn't hear back for a week. I receive a call back during work and was unable to talk but the man let me know the best way to set up an appointment was to email them since he is with clients all day and unable to answer the phone. From December to May I emailed Sunee Spa four times to request an appointment and included my contact information (email/phone#) but heard nothing back. Finally, my fiancé called and spoke to a man that was extremely rude. Not only was he unwilling to refund the $100, but he suggested that it was my fault for not having an appointment because " I shouldn't have emailed because it's too difficult to figure out scheduling over email" and that the inbox gets so much spam email it is too difficult for him to sort through it. Considering I was told by this man on the phone to email, not call, and my fiancé was later told to call, not email, I don't believe Sunee Spa has any intention of trying to book a new client once they've already received the money from the sale of a gift certificate. After threatening to make a complaint about the business to get his money back, Sunee Spa finally refunded the money to my fiancé's card. Considering the reason to visit a spa is to have a relaxing experience, I 100% do not recommend Sunee Spa as a trustworthy establishment. Again, they may give a great massage but I will never know because of the lack of business ethics, quality customer care, and an honest effort to be available for (potential) clients. It took us 7 months to get our money refunded and it was a total headache for everyone involved. read more

I attended one 1 hour therapeutic session with Brad for a Sciatica/hip problem. Registered Massage Therapists that know what they are doing either start at the head or the feel as everything is connected. He started at my hip/sciatica. This was Tuesday and now on Sunday, 6 days later, I still am bruised on the butt to the point that I could not walk. A friend in our park is a RMT and was very shocked when she saw the humungous bruise that covers my left buttocks--she said it was almost a hematoma.
