I decided to call White Park Dental since I was a patient there before. The tooth broke the beginning of February and she couldn't see me until February 24. In the past dentists would recommend you to someone else who can get you in Sooner. She didn't care that I was in pain and blew me off. Ok, now it's the 24th and I was so full of anxiety I just couldn't go. The pain in the tooth got much better but I was so scared. I just had that uncaring feeling. Before they had me fill tons of paperwork, which seemed more important than my pain. So because it was my first visit, even though I was a previous patient, they said I could not reschedule with them. Yes, I know it was my fault for not going. But if you're looking for a caring dentist and office staff i high recommend going somewhere else. Judy at the front desk is very considerate of my sometimes inflexible schedule, and always finds a way to pencil me in. She also patiently and thoroughly explains the sometimes confusing things regarding insurance before I go through with services, to ensure my understanding. Also she seems to remember every person she meets; this woman knows her stuff. They are always upfront and honest regarding costs and service (which is a relief from some of the terrible practices I have witnessed in other places). The owner himself, Dr. Vaez, is also incredibly polite, thorough, and gentle with his care. Sometimes my work brings me out of NY to NH, and I refuse to go anywhere else. The care I receive here is top quality, and the staff is very respectful and welcoming. Dr Vaez is an awesome dentist, very calming, and spends all the time needed explaining what he is doing. I was a bit apprehensive having a new dentist, but Dr Vaez is the best I could hope for. They are always on time with the appointments, never a wait. I recently have been seeing Janet for my cleanings, and she is very nice and thorough, very easy to be with. I won't go anywhere else! Everyone from the front desk to the Dr's and the dental hygienists are all very good. Recently met Dr Lindsey O'Connor, and she was very pleasant as well. Having said that, I want to say that his dental assistant Samantha is very rude has very little class and unprofessional. She joked that a person isn't supposed to look like a hillbilly, referring to my missing teeth. She also joked that I must be addicted to getting dental implants because I wasn't getting any crowns for them, which likely would have been a waste of money and time, as I decided that a Snap In (implant) denture on the top of my mouth, would be the better option, and I'm glad I wasnt impulsive and too eager to get crowns as I likely would've regretted getting them and it would have been a waste of time and money. One day, Dr Wang jokingly asked me to shovel his driveway after a snow storm, which I laughed, and the dental assistant Samantha replied, " yeah that's a way to lose weight" ...Which I didn't think that Dr Wang implied anything about my weight. If Samantha thinks she can disparage, humiliate and joke about any dental patients weight or dental condition she is very wrong. . What I have been through with dental problems isn't a joke to me, although people like her may think its a joke. I struggled with severe depression, and definitely could have taken better care of my teeth and didn't know I would go through the struggles of the dental problems that faced me, and my late father also lost most of his teeth at a young age, 30's and 40's, so unfortunately I think I may have genetically soft teeth. I was trying to decide for a while if I should address how I was treated by this dental assistant Samantha. I wasn't sure if I should say something about it or not, however I decided that it was completely unacceptable how I was treated specifically by this so called dental assiant Samantha. It has been a painful difficult and arduous journey dealing with my dental problems mentally emotionally physically and financially and its reprehensible that people like Samantha thought she could ridicule and joke about me like she did. Without dental patients none of you who work at dentist offices, would have a job. Dr Wang needs to think about the kinds of people he has working for him. Most of the people at Cornerstone seemed professional and decent but I can't say the same about this person Samantha.
