Nice people from reception to Dr. Albee! Gentle, fun & professional! Got a full upper denture. Felt nothing and looks great!

Went for a biannual cleaning. Andrea, the hygienist, is great. She asked if I wanted a fluoride treatment. I said I could apply it myself in the evening and she gave me a small packet. Received the bill and there was a $39.00 charge for fluoride application. Called their office and left a message saying there was no in office application but would be happy to pay for the fluoride packet/materials. They called back 6 days later and claimed I received the fluoride application in office and the packet I received was an "extra", which was not true. Won't be going back to this provider. read more

I use to be a patient of theirs until they started telling me that I needed numerous fillings and I knew that was not the case. I had a second opinion which verified that I did not need the work that they where claiming. I would not recommend them at all. Found a better dentist and staff at Generation Dental. read more

I went here after years of putting off going to a dentist. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They reassured me and made me less nervous. They worked with my budget and helped me schedule things to help maximize my insurance benefit for the year. I can't say enough good things. Dr. Albee (the son) is funny and puts patients at ease. The staff at Suncook Dental is top notch. The hygienists are thoughtful and gentle on my sensitive teeth. The dentists are excellent. Today I had a very uncomfortable situation with the "office manager" Tammy that ended in her yelling that she would cancel my relationship with Suncook dental and hung up on me before it could be resolved. I called today because unfortunately I had to cancel my appointment last minute which I hate doing. Tammy seemed very upset by this and told me 5 times that you require 48 hours notice and was very short with me. I was fine paying the $75 fee, it was not a big deal. I called back however because of the text message I was sent, stating that 'no reason was given'. I was confused because I was never once asked for a reason. I called back to see if having a reason would help (no harm in asking right?) and to let someone know of my awkward and uncomfortable conversation with Tammy, and how she hadn't asked me for a reason. When I called back I was again greeted by Tammy. I asked for a manger and was told she was the office manager.All I wanted was to have someone call me back or to speak to someone else, I was told "no". I just wanted to feel my complaint was heard. I asked for a number of someone higher up and was told there was no one higher up than the office manager Tammy. I was confused and could hear her getting more and more frustrated with me as I tried to get any contact information from her and was told no. We went back and forth before i realized she did not want to help me. I tried to be frank with her and said "look if your upset with me I'm happy to just call back later at a different time and have someone else help me." she told me that wouldn't be necessary as she was closing out my relationship with Suncook dental. I was shocked and confused at what had just happened and how I ended up here. She had already hung up on me before I could even respond. I am not a confrontational person so this whole situation was very difficult for me. I am 26 years old and have been going to Suncook Dental since I was a child. I love the staff and the environment. I happily drive 35 minutes to go there because I love it. I had Dr Albee senior as a dentist before he retired and Andrew Albee for many years. I don't want to close out my relationship with you. But I also don't feel comfortable going to a dentist office where I will be yelled at when I have to cancel an apt or denied when I ask to speak to a manager. I hope no one else is ever treated the way I was by Tammy. So disappointed. read more

I used to go here from when I was 11 until 15 years of age. I had a Chinese dentist at the time (I am also from East Asia, just to put that out there) - I can't remember his name at the moment. Throughout the 2-10 years after I stopped seeing him, ALL of the treatments that he performed had issues, and had to be redone. I now have issues with my jaw and the overall bone structure of my head is deformed due to improperly performed/lack of recommendations for further treatments. To give an example, he extracted my #4 second premolar and he said that nothing needed to be done if I didn't want to, because the other molar teeth would shift and fill the gap. All of my teeth (not just the molars) shifted over the years and now I have to live with misaligned teeth (the center of the top row of teeth sit on top of the 2nd tooth on the bottom row). The gap was never completely filled and I ended up getting an implant. My face is crooked due to the shifting. I'm sure it has other negative effects as well (perhaps that's what contributes to jaw clicking, sinus problems, etc). None of the filling that he had done made it throughout the years. They all fell out while I was eating, or I ended up getting abscesses in the teeth where had root canals done already. If you are an adult, you might be ok seeing him but if your child is still developing, you might want to consider seeing another dentist. read more

I had been going here for years. I absolutely loved them and recommended them to anyone looking for a dentist. When I had kids they started going there. They performed x-rays on my kids WITHOUT my permission. Do not bring children here. read more

The fact that everyone is friendly and nice at Suncook Dental just won't hack it I'm afraid. My husband and I go to different dentists; he goes to the senior dr. Albee, who is about to retire. I go to a dental firm in Bedford. We both have had a lot of serious work and my husband has had a lot of crowns recently. I have lost count of the temporary AND permanent crowns that have fallen out. Just today, his newest front tooth crown, the second of two, fell out at dinner. I had been telling him not to worry about what he eats, within reason because once the permanent cap is put on, it stays on! That has been my experience as my whole mouth is primarily caps and bridges. I am so upset and I told my husband its a good thing he isn't my child because I would raise hell with this dentist. But I am not allowed to say anything. He is now sitting at the table with his tooth beside his plate. Again, this has happened way over half a dozen times. They just aren't a dental firm I would ever go to with any serious issues. I hope Dr. Albee reads this. read more
