Not one car that went around us asked "are you guys okay". " Can I help"? What a shame..... We were on the beach for 6 1/2 hrs before A1A towing delived us to Jack Haninia Chevrolet on US1 in St. Augustine. We arrived at the dealership at 930pm. Bob the owner of A1A towing was committed to making sure his customers were going to be okay and off the beach. He communicated with the sheriff's dept so that they were available to open the beach gates to allow the flatbed tow truck to get to us. The beach closed at 730 pm.....the Sheriff's dept were awesome as well, by escorting all of us to the matanzas ramp and again opening the gate. Unfortunately our experience with our highly paid car to Florida Farm Bureau road side assistance service failed miserably. Our call to them was at around 330pm that day, with no help except BOB from A1A BEACH TOWING........ Bob told me husband and I, I will not leave you on this beach until you are safe and taken care of. No car rental available all closed by the time we arrived at the dealership. My daughter left her movie night with her family and drove almost 2 hrs to meet us at the dealership and waited another 2 hrs until we arrived by tow. We will be forever grateful to Bob and his flatbed tow truck drive that handled our vehicle with kid gloves. We made a great friends that day, as awful as it was. I contacted them via phone and told them that I had a legal right to park on the property and they told me "we don't care - just bring a $100 cash to get your van back". It should be noted that we have 4 young children. I got my van back and now I'm experiencing issues with the transmission because of the way that they towed the van. I have no choice but to file a small claims lawsuit against them and the condo association. THIS COMPANY IS A SIGNIFICANT LEGAL RISK TO YOUR CONDO ASSOCIATION OR HOA.

They didn't hook my speedometer back up, they…read moredidn't hook my odometer back up, they broke my parking brake and they made excuses for 2 months as to why they couldn't get it all resolved. Oh, and it appears to be still leaking. Bad people... Owner is named Bo and he comes across as nice but at the end of the day you will get screwed. My advice is avoid at all cost in terms of repair work. They have reasonable rates on towing which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.
