We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the amazing woman working in the store that day (this past Monday, January 25th). But..we were literally speechless upon entering the store because it was so beautiful, we almost couldn't respond to her. The clothing, accessories, bath soaps and exquisite bath salts, everything is laid out so exquisitely. You can look through racks easily, try on scents as needed, (the Kai perfume...perfection), and so much space to walk around and browse, without feeling crowded. Plus...the two fitting rooms are so pretty and sooo spacious, you can comfortably try on clothes without feeling like half your body is hanging outside the curtain (an issue in some boutique shops). I wish I lived much closer...but...thankfully I can shop Bella Funk online. But if you are anywhere close to Littleton, this is a MUST VISIT!!! And they are about 5 minutes off Route 93. I cannot wait to visit again. Truly horrendous customer service. I ordered two items. Decided after they arrived that I needed a…read moredifferent size. Initiated an exchange online and sent them back. One full week after UPS tracking reported that the items had arrived at Garnet Hill's warehouse, I had heard nothing and could find no update to my order through the website. When I called customer service, the agent (C) basically said, "Yeah. It could be another week before anyone at the warehouse gets around to processing your package. If you wanted it done 'fast,' you should have done it as a return and ordered the different size as a new order." I believe this technique is called blaming the victim. I asked, "How would I have known to do that? Do you state somewhere on your website that items sent back for exchange might just loll around your warehouse for weeks on end, so the exchange process should be avoided?" "No, of course not," she replied. Very helpful. After considering my options, I called again and spoke to another customer service agent (M) who also ended up passing the buck back to me. I asked if we could cancel the exchange and order the new size over the phone. Sure, she said, then revealed that the new size (which was available when I first initiated the exchange) is now on backorder. I can only assume that it sold out during the week that my items were lolling around the warehouse. M said it wasn't Garnet Hill's fault if they had too many packages at the warehouse to process them in a timely fashion. I should have known that if I had wanted my items shipped "fast," I needed to handle the exchange differently. (M also noted that she has worked at Garnet Hill for more than 30 years, so her "blame the victim" approach can't be attributed to inexperience. This is clearly a company policy.) At this point, it's looking like it will be at least two months from the date of my original order before I receive the items in the size I needed. Anything quicker than that would have been, according to Garnet Hill's definition, "fast." A good word to describe how I will be running away from this horrible company. Although I might apply for a job working in their warehouse. It sounds very relaxing!

Some are funky, others are straightline traditional, but are always in style, of great quality and priced right. I live in the Boston area and things here are expensive. I can get really great clothes for both work and play at a fraction of the cost here. They have terrific used furniture at prices that are incomparable. They are in good working order, solid wood furniture that can be refinished or used as it. I like older things so I don't like to refinish what I get - I just make sure whatever it is fits into a decor. Mine is eclectic so almost everything fits! The accessories are old and modern. Lamps, plates, wall hangings. All of relevant and functional. I like to go to Dressers every time I am in the area.
