I can't say enough about Maria! I was looking for a mother…read moreof the bride dress and was frustrated because I could not find anything I liked - on line or in stores! I made an appointment with Maria and described to her what I had in mind. As soon as I walked into her shop I knew I was in the right place! She listened, drew a sketch, took detailed measurements, made a pattern and over the course of a few months created the MOST beautiful dress, using exquisite fabric and impeccable design! (She used Earl Grey tea to dye the lace for the hem so that the color would match perfectly) I met with Maria several times over those few months and it proved to be one of the highlights of the entire wedding experience. She is talented and fun and so happy about what she does! I brought my daughter to one of the fittings so that she could meet this amazing woman! Maria put her heart into my dress and not only is it exactly what I had envisioned, it is a work of art.

I was going to write a five star until we got to the cash register…read more We came over here to purchase and donate toys for a nonprofit organization that sponsors needy and homeless families who would otherwise not have a Christmas. We went through the toy section and were pleasantly surprised at seeing Leggos on sale with a table on which several unicorn Lego toys were placed next to a 30% off placard. We got several among other toys. Got to the register and the cashier rang one at full price. Upon our challenge, he started "apparently it depends on the unicorn". Take out or leave it. To put items on a table marked 30% off and then ring the item at full price is horrible ethics. Sadly, we have been assiduous Kohls customers, especially during holiday season.

I wanted to shout out a young man named Conlin (?) for extremely good customer service after what…read morewas a very bad experience with another incredibly rude employee (Tracy) at The West Lebanon, NH store. My Customer pick up item was not in the bin when I arrived and we were assisted by this young man who looked through every single bin in the hopes of finding it and when he could not, he refunded the order with a merchandise credit and helped me locate the items that were on that order, even looking "on the dock" for one of the items when my size was not on the racks. This young man was friendly, apologetic and eager to help and made this bad experience better. I did speak to Manager Chris about this employees excellent service, so I do hope he was acknowledged as he deserves it.

Vermont Flannel sell shirts, pajamas, robes, blankets, hoodies and a number of smaller items like tea cozies and socks. They cut their scraps into 4" squares and package them into a kit that you can use to make a patchwork quilt. When we were there, there were two young women running the store. One was very experienced and the other appeared to be learning. The one learning was sewing samples of new products while we were there. The service was excellent and we ended up buying a robe for my wife and pajamas for our daughter. They have stores around Vermont.

The personal attention to detail in all of of the clothing items is second to none, you would think you were shopping on Newbury St. in Boston but instead you can do in in NH with no sales tax and much MUCH better prices! Janet and Amanda are simply the best. I have made this a weekend destination stop for the last three years. If I call ahead, they will have a dressing room waiting. The jeans are worth every penny. I have worn everything for years that I have bought and still get compliments. Amanda hand picks every item in the store and it shows. LOVE THIS PLACE! I am not kidding when the first time I did a shopping session I teared up in the dressing room because for the first time, every thing just FIT because Janet and Amanda picked out exactly what would look good on me. More importantly, they were the first to show me about SPANX... the love fest continues. They will even ship to you direct if you need it, I fell in love with a coat and they remembered, sent a personal email, and shipped it right to my office in Cambridge with no extra charge. She then watched as I spent 15 minutes shopping and picking things out, and then rudely told me, after she watched me try to open a fitting room at 6:45, that she closed the fitting room at 6:30 for sanitizing. What? That is a closing job and takes all of a minute. The next store I went to had their rooms open until 7. They lost all my business that night. So unnecessary and rude. I notice that there have been similar reviews of this staff member on Yelp and I hope management sees this.
