The lady was very nice in front. I would give them my business and support them but I could not justify $70 to have a blanket washed. There was a little bit of spilled coffee on it, and I just needed to have it washed. The pricing is outrageous. I didn't mind if the stain was removed or not. I just wanted it cleaned again. She was very nice but I could not justify having something washed that cost more than the original blanket to begin with. I sent some price gouging, and in my opinion that is quite unfair This was just to have it washed. I did not care about dry cleaning. Outrageous read more

Really wanted to like this place because the people who run it seem nice and the location is convenient; however, I brought them two white dress shirts and got them back both with a light red tint? I can maybe get away with wearing the shirts under a suit jacket, but on their own they're both ruined. The lady said they were like that when I dropped them off, but I know they weren't. And when I handed them over, the gentleman who checked them in certainly didn't notice or mention anything then. I won't be able to come here again, and certainly cannot recommend them in good faith to anyone else. Real bummer. read more

Can't make up my mind. I'm not used to paying for cleaning when I drop it off. Maybe if they gave a discount? They did a great job on the cleaning I took there. read more

I don't often need a dry cleaners but found myself in need of one. Read a few recommendations on Next Door then Yelp. I liked that it is family owned--who does that anymore!!?? Friendly at front desk. Clothes looked great. Will return next time I need a cleaners. I live in Santa Maria but location does not mean anything when I have found a business I like. I still have my same hairdresser for over 35 years now. I flew from Washington state to see her in Irvine. At least now I am within 4 hours! Loyalty. read more

This is way overdue but I really need to share my positive experience. I don't get my clothes dry cleaned often, but I needed my wedding dress cleaned and this was the only spot willing to take it on short notice. I was so happy and relieved when they said they'd take care of it. Sang was super friendly and very helpful. When I picked it up, I was so happy with the results especially for the reasonable price. I will definitely be back for any of my dry cleaning needs. read more

Really nice people running this business and they have always done a great job. The only reason why they don't get a 5 star rating is that I have a tight schedule and I showed up several times at the 8AM opening time and they weren't open. Otherwise, a great place to have your dress shirts cleaned and pressed. read more

I was told by another cleaners that my very expensive party dress could not be cleaned even tho the tag said dry clean only. The shop where I purchased the dress suggested I try another cleaners. I went to Sunbrite they took the dress and it was perfectly cleaned & ready to go by Friday. Ecstatic! Woo hoo! My new cleaners. Check them out! read more

I took I'm my mother's wedding dress that was never cleaned and stored rolled up in a ball inside a tote. It was very wrinkled and looked extremely sad. I went in today to pick it up and it looks so beautiful!!! They did such a wonderful job. I am very very pleased! read more

Fast drop off and pick up. The staff have always been friendly and professional. The price is fair. Easy parking and good hours of operation. I have always had a good experience with them servicing basic sweaters. I would recommend to others. read more

I went to pick up a blouse I had cleaned. I had my ticket stub but the man working could not find his part of the ticket. He noticeably got nervous and asked questions/description of blouse. He looked around for about 10 minutes and came back and told me I had already picked it up. I told him no, I had not and we went back and forth about it. He told me he would look for it and to come back in a few days. I did and they still haven't found it and are trying to say I picked it up. I understand things get lost but as a business I would think they would just acknowledge the mistake. What kind of business tries to blame the customer for their mistake? I will never do business with people that treat customer so poorly. read more

This is the best and most friendliest place I have ever taken my dry cleaning to. The owner is always so nice to me and he really does care about his buiseness! The prices are very reasonable and I trust them with all my nice work pants and blazers! The best part is they get you in and out fast and they take debit cards as well. You will not be disappointed! read more

So far, so good. I brought a couple of shirts in for dry cleaning to have ready in time for the weekend. So, it was getting late Saturday afternoon and realized I'd forgotten to pick them up and I called and he said to come at 6. Got there, and the sign actually said they closed at 4. But sure enough, the guy was there waiting on me to pick up my stuff. Bill's in the Village I hear is a little cheaper, but these guys are great in my book. read more

I have been underwhelmed with the service I have gotten at Sunbrite cleaners. I've had shirts and pants cleaned a number of times and their cleaning & pressing is only marginal. Twice I have asked for an article to be redone for free because it was not done well and they refused both times. Instead of delivering good customer service by giving me the benefit of the doubt, the woman argued with me about how it was not their doing. I've given them enough opportunities to impress me, but two negative experiences & only marginal performance means that someone else will get my dry cleaning business going forward. read more

I took a NEW evening dress to Sunbrite to be altered. When I picked up the dress, I did not check it because I had no cause to be worried since I have always taken my clothes there. A week and a half later (06-13-16) I tried on the dress to check the length would be compatible with the shoes I Purchased. It was then I noticed several stains on the lower right side of the dress. When I took it back, the person assisting me clearly remembered the dress. When I showed her the stains, her response was, "that there when you bring in." Again the NEW evening dress was worn one time and that was when I had it on so the seamstress could mark how much was to be hemmed up. Then the woman went to say, "you no ask for dry cleaning." Of course I didn't because it was only being altered. Then she handed me a paper and said "if you want fix you sign here." Basically she now wanted me to sign a waiver. I have taken all of my dresses of various fabrics to Sunbrite since 2003 and never once was I EVER asked to sign a waiver. SUNBRITE WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGING YOUR CLOTHES. I may be one customer, but Sunbrite lost my business. read more

There are two dry cleaners in the neighborhood that I know of. I used this one because it was closer. They lost two (2) pairs of wool slacks and absolutely took no responsibility for it. I only take my wool slacks for dry cleaning - so there's not much chance of me losing them. The first one - OK, maybe my fault, I lost the receipt. Started keeping receipts. The second one lost - I had the receipt. They said I already picked it up. Huh? My wife had already moved her business to the other one. Now, I am too. Total BS. read more

Dropped off a set of queen size sheets with 2 pillow cases, one comforter with 2 pillow cases and one duvet cover and asked that they be laundered, not dry cleaned. Total came to $165 - Could not get the "owner" to hear my complaint as she does not speak enough English and just keeps saying whatever it is she was saying. I told her I could buy new sets of both at Ross for less. She continued to say something to me and began helping other people who came to pick up their items. I am leaving mine and going to Ross to buy new ones. This is unacceptable but I think I will never be able to communicate with her as this is the third time I have tried. Don't think there are any other options than to never go there again. read more

I took 4 linen place mats in for cleaning. Two had a tiny spot from olive oil. The mats cost only $5.00 but I liked the design and color. I was never told the cost when I dropped them off. When my husband went to pick them up, the price was $19.80. When asked why so expensive, the clerk only repeated the $19.80 cost. They got the oil out of one of the mats, but not all. I will never go back! read more
