Brought in 3 baskets full of laundry after a move and limited time to unpack, get multiple loads of laundry done, and be considerate of other tenants needing laundry at our complex. I dropped off my items around 5 pm and they were done by 8 pm. Super prompt, folded and hung nicely with hangers from laundromat. It was around $125 which include bedding (full queen bed set and mattress pad), a blanket, and the three tubs of clothes. Very convenient and literally took a load off for me. We do laundry here from time to time. The ow we is very nice and. Area about keeping the place clean. Last night my husband and I were there and folding laundry near closing time. It was about 8:50 and a woman pulled up and walked in and got quarters. A lot of quarters. And then walked back to her car. The owner (as my husband and I witnessed) told her not to come and steal quarters from his spot because they are for his customers. Although it's technically not stealing, it's a reasonable ask. She had no intentions of using his machines to do laundry. I told my husband that she was going to leave this guy a bad review because she just looked like that kind of drama. Sure enough she did. So I'm clarifying her false claims that she was going to do laundry there. No one goes straight in to get change without unloading their laundry. And at closing time. Get a life lady. This business owner is so unprofessional. I do laundry here from time to time and this was the second time he's came up to me and asked me to not "steal" his quarters when in fact I went to do laundry those two times. THIS TIME he whistled at me in front of customers as if I was his child and said to not steal his quarters because I guess the laundromat down the street was all out. I asked him "why are you assuming I'm not doing laundry here" *my basket was in my car* he then proceeds to say "well you're sure not doing it here read the signs" HE EMBARRASSED ME! last load was at 8:30 pm so,YES it was my fault for not reading I was in a rush we ate human. However, he could have been A LOT nicer and not humiliated me in front of 4 customers. He then goes inside and starts talking about me giving me dirty looks. I unfortunately live in a place where I'm not able to do laundry, however.. this is the next best thing!! This place has great hours, open from 7am to 9pm (unless not busy might close earlier). They have an attendant starting at 8am I believe, they also have the option for laundry drop off, they have washing machines of all sizes and prices and they do their best to clean each machine throughout the day. They also have carts that help with moving around your clothes, and have a machine where you can buy supplies if you run out, as well as a coin machine only for use of these laundry machines. They are also next to 7 eleven and Juanitas Mexican food, if you want to grab a snack to pass the time. Thank you Cole Laundry management, for making this a great facility! read more

On a beach trip with family, dirty laundry accumulates fast. Instead of paying hotel laundry prices, which are ridiculous, we went with a local business instead. The place was nice and clean. Chris was the general manager and he helped me, he was very kind and made the transaction easy. A couple of hours later I had nicely pressed clothes to go. I was able to move on to the next leg of the trip without having to sit at a laundromat to do the laundry myself. I recommend this service, the prices are very reasonable. read more

In a word Outstanding. I was camping near Pismo at The Sands RV Park. I had a weeks worth of laundry and the laundry facility at the RV park was by appointment only due to COVID restrictions. The park recommended Cole's laundry. We dropped off the clothes in a large hamper bag at 3pm. The clothes were properly washed, dried, and folded by 5pm. Everything was folded perfectly and shirts were on hangers. We even had our bedding cleaned, also folded perfectly with no wrinkles. The cost was very reasonable. When you account for the laundry machine costs, detergent, and the time this was an awesome deal. I may never do my own laundry again. The people were friendly, helpful, clean, and professional. I'm giving this laundromat four stars for a few reasons. The parking was abundant and located in a dedicated lot, as I walked in there was an attendant cleaning the inside of a machine (the machines were pretty clean on the inside not so much on the outside), there were lots of windows so very nice natural light coming through which I appreciated, and in general the facility was like broom clean.. not deep cleaned but acceptable. It would have been nice had the bathrooms had actual soap to wash your hands.. I mentioned it to the attendant and he was fully aware that there wasn't any to be found so he offered me some hand sanitizer which was nice of him.. Staff was super friendly, it wasn't super busy and the patrons were super respectful. I felt safe and would for sure go back. read more

I have coming here for a few months, because other coins ops have been do not keep clothes if you have forgot them on accident. I have experienced some racial profiling, prejudice, and even heard the young gentleman saying derogatory slurs African american ethnicities. I quietly wash my clothes and leave in peace. You can tell that the owners take a great deal of pride in their establishment, as they are very hands on with maintenance, customer service and decor. My washing machine broke, so I had to go out and find a laundry facility . I went on Yelp to find the cleanest because I was not happy I had to use someone else's machine. I came here and of course I have to make sure the machine is clean and doesn't smell bad . This place was clean plus the machines were really clean and they also have someone there to help you and to make sure you don't bring in anything that should be thrown away and not washed. I will defiantly go here again when my or if my machine takes a dump. I had to go here three days and every time they were always cleaning the place. This is the most wonderful and peaceful place to do laundry... some lady just walked in the door and yelled at me saying I didn't have a mask on I simply forgot it in my car as I had just walked in to do my laundry...this lady didn't come in to even do laundry just being spiteful and negative...the owners and staff keep this laundromat super clean and sanitized even before the coronavirus pandemic. Super clean facility with large selection of nice machines from huge get all your cloths done at once to the small load washer. The lady who runs it is so nice and helpful they also offer wash and fold service. The washers are so clean and DON'T smell of mold or have sand in them. The facility is more modern than others I have been to and is clean and bright. The area is nice too your right next to a Mexican food restaurant and a gas station. So if you want lunch or a drink while you wait those options are available. read more

What you'd expect a laundry mat to be. I'm usually in here once every 7-10 days, and have never had a problem (worth mentioning). The staff is friendly, and the place is pretty clean. Sometimes machines will be out of order, but there is plenty to go around (which is the case at any laundry place I've used). I haven't used the actual wash/dry/fold service, so I can't rate that, but I do know that those ladies make a stack of towels and sheets look beautiful! I don't see the big deal with giving this place a bad rating because the worker spoke broken English, or that their own change machine couldn't be used. I think I recall seeing a sign that said "for customer use only," on the change machine. If you want community spirit, embrace the entire community, even the ones who haven't always been here. Besides, it's a laundry mat...not Susie homemaker's biannual cookie social. If you need some change, buy a piece of candy from the 7/11, or hang out with the lovely transients that you're so proud of. One last thing...never write a review when you're mad. Very clean laundromat with up to date washers and dryers. This place is awesome if you have a large family as it was extremely large washer & driers so you can get it all done fast. It has the charm of classic California with it's Los Angeles Suburb in the 80's wall decor, but it also has some great beachy purple paint trimming with shiny motivational art, and one is decorated with a sock wreath probably retrieved from lost socks. There is a sock bin. I'm not sure how that works ot what you do with it other than donate random socks you find in the washing machine space time vortex to either be found or probably donated to Good Will? The last is my hypothesis. The staff works hard keeping everything clean and up to spec. I have never witnessed that in a small laundromat before. It has to be one of the cleanest places I've ever, well, cleaned clothes in. They even have a laundry service! I can't stress enough how clean everything is. It is a very family friendly business, and has space for the kids to hang. There is local Mexican food nearby, a pub, and a diner, and the beach is close by. I recommend! read more

This laundry mat I have always went to and spend about 25 to 30 a week here as my washer broker and I have been to busy to have it fixed. Today I went there and all.the.big washers were full which I hate the smaller ones you always have to ask for them to be cleaned out cuz there is always a ton of sand in them ....Today I put 4 dresses 100 plus in one that looked clean and when I went to pull the dresses out there was a bunch of sand in the bottom and I was upset and the guy that works there most of the time came over told me to chill I had sand in my clothes well how do you get sand on dresses that you were to work in an office and I dont even go to the beach. I looked at him like WTF seriously I had sand in dresses omfg...then I was told that if I didnt like it go to another laundry mat which I plan on it till I get moved and get a new washer....Enough said but dont go there they dont value the regular customers or care if your clothes get ruined and If I am going to spend money somewhere I dont expect to be treated rudely. read more

The good news - laundry here gets done and isn't too costly, so if that's all you need, then it works perfectly fine. The bad? I got there around 6pm and the window was closed...in the middle of business hours. To get change I had to buy food next door. Also, hardly anyone was in here, but it smelled like a homeless person was squatting in here. It's the first laundromat I've ever been to that didn't smell like fresh laundry. Don't they clean for reasons like this? It makes me question how clean the clothes actually get....But the clothes came out fine. Either way, basic shop with no frills and will get the job done, just a bad smell. read more

POOR COMMUINITY SPIRIT!!! I have a business right next door to this Laundromat and use it's services frequently. This evening I needed a few quarters to get some H2O from the water dispenser outside 7-11 so I went inside to change a dollar bill for some quarters. I started to use the change dispenser and a woman who I could barely understand because she spoke broken English asked me if I was washing clothes. When I explained to her I lived next door an just needed a few quarters told me I needed to bring in clothes to use the machine!!! Are you kidding me? I have lived in the neighborhood quite a while and HAVE NEVER encountered such a rude. disrespectful response...even from the transients who frequent the area! This woman was driving a van with "Cole Linen & Laundry" graphics on it and believe me, I will never use their services again. I am glad this attitude is not indicative of the downtown Grover Beach merchants as a whole...7-11, the taco stand, the jewelry shop...these people are all hospitable and giving individuals. This woman not only needs to learn the importance of community spirit & hospitality...but needs to TAKE SOME ENGLISH CLASSES! read more

I thought this was the best laundromat I've been to before. Granted, I've really only been to them in Europe. The man working here was very very friendly. He let me right into the restroom which was clean and had TP, paper towels and soap. There was a selection of washing machines and dryers of varying costs depending on how you wanted your clothes to be done. I did not use any services other than the self use washer and dryers. The wash I used was probably the cheapest ($2.50) and oldest but the machines were clean and didn't smell. I bought my detergent right there. There were a few change machines but I didn't notice an ATM. No matter because there is a gas station right next door with an ATM. There were also several seats there to hang out while you wait. I checked out Juanita's Mexican food right next door and ate a huge burrito while I waited. The dryers I used were massive and for every 6-8 minutes of dryer time, cost only 00.25 cents. I think I put in about 1 or 1.25 worth to get my stuff dried (regular clothes). The attendant working was so thoughtful and when he saw me about to buy laundry bags from the machine on the wall, he just handed me some. Overall, as a single woman, I felt safe here and was in and out in less than an hour. Also, parking right in front of the doors - super easy. read more
