Really disappointed in the service. I drove out here from Santa Maria. It states on yelp that it's open 24 hours and I show up and there's an hour till closing which only allowed me to put one load to wash. To top it off, the coin machine wasn't working and I only had cash so I only had the option of putting the cash into the machine on the side but it only took exact change. Oh, and no restroom for paying customers. Not great....... read more

I loved it here. I went recently to wash some clothes. I was in and out within an hour. Plenty of machines available, state of the art equipment, inexpensive washes and it was overall a good experience. It's also in a fairly nice area. Highly recommended. read more

NEWLY REMODELED FACILITY! Beautiful, brand new machines and you can use your card to pay! Easily the best laundromat in the whole area including SLO! You can also use the Huebsch App on your phone to pay the machines. So glad we have a modern place to do laundry. Large load machines available and super fast dryers. I've gone here for as long as I can recall my mom has even gone here and I remember that when I was in JR. High being said from then till now I can honestly say I haven't had a bad experience. Finally a laundry mat that isn't strictly quarters. New and improved and I love it. New machines and new technology to where you don't need quarters. You can download the app and reload your card with money. There is also a kiosk that you can use. The place was clean and spotless. read more

Just wasted my time and money here. Washers and dryers took my money. Neither change machines work. Don't come here.

Love the machine's but it's always dirty. I have come in here when they left the broom and dustpan out and swept the place up. So it'd be nice if you guys put the broom back out that way good customers like me will keep it cleaned up. read more

Just finished wasting my time and money at Starclean. Used two high capacity washers only one of them added enough water to saturate my load during the wash cycle. $4.00 wasted. Loaded up two dryers spending several dollars on each only one of them heat periodically. Nobody present that could help me or refund my money. Stay away from this place. read more

This facility is an embarrassment. Owners do zero maintenance or upkeep. Literally 75% of machines washers and dryers do not work and are just ignored repair wise when they break. Filthy machines and facility. The Owners know of complaints but just laugh while they bag up our quarters and run out as fast as they can. I would not recommend this location until new ownership takes over if that ever happens. read more

I thought Grover beach was safe? I wish I read the reviews. I legit had all my clothes taken from the dryer as I left for 10 minutes to get gas. Are you serious?!?! What is wrong with this place. I got a postcard in the mail saying that the place has been updated. I gave it a try. The change machine was out of order. The payment machine wouldn't accept cash or card. I had to get quarters down the street. There was no attendant on site. Otherwise it was good read more

Clean and nice to hang out. In a mall with other shops/restaurants. Wash is expensive $4.00 or more for triple load (one basket of clothes) Besides the high prices to do laundry this is better atmosphere then the other laundries in the area. read more

If I could give no stars I would but I can't. The dirtiest one I have been to. Always has tweakers hanging around and it smells gross inside. But the worst thing yet is none of the machines work!! I have now wasted $20 here and I will never come back. The washers don't use water half the time or overflow out of the top of washer due to cloggage from prior users. This laundry mat isn't half bad. I had a lot do a few loads while I was waiting for a new washer and dryer. There are a ton of machines and you can fit a ton in them. Also the large driers work super well. I just popped my clothes in and grabbed some delicious tacos next store. I'd never leave my laundry unattended just invade though read more

Wish I would have read the other reviews. Like another review, I also left a note for the owner. This place is horrible! We are on vacation and had two weeks worth of laundry to clean. I used the big machines in the back and am glad that I decided to watch them instead of leaving. One machine did not fill with water at all during the wash cycle. Another did not fill with water during the first rinse cycle. I ended up with laundry that was still soapy. Of course even though I selected the heavy cycle, they did not spin out very well so they were pretty wet which meant extra dry time. I then started drying them and half of the dryers never got hot. I had to keep moving them to different dryers. If you are the owner and reading this, yes I am the one leaving out of order signs all over your machines. I ended up spending a lot of money and still went home with damp, sticky laundry. I am only a visitor here but how awful for the people in your community to rely on your business for cleaning clothes for their families. It is a daunting job as it is without loosing money for poorly maintained machines. read more

First four machines I went to were stinky and smelled like mildew or mold . The next machine I went to was broken with no sign on it and it took my money . the next machine had water filled up in the detergent holder so that told me it was broken. (Summery at Bottom) My stupid washer decided to crap out on the Sunday, so by the time I bought a new washing machine I had to wait 10days to get my washer delivered!! Boo! Of course I had been out of town three times in the last three weeks so I had a monstrous load of laundry and my dog was sick so I had some nasty smelling towels, so I decided I just needed to suck it up and venture to a laundromat. After lots of searches, review reading and phone calls to laundromats I decided on Sparclean Laundromat. Sparclean Laundromat has lots of washers with multiple capacities: 24 large capacity dryers 24 top load washers-single load 8 double load washers 4 triple load washers They are all arranged in a very organized fashion with large signs to help you find what you are looking for. Since I was making the trek to the laundromat, I decided to do my comforter and all my dog's blankets and stuff. I had around 10-12 loads that I washed and dried in 2hours! Honestly the most pain in the butt part of it was unloading it and putting it all away when I made it home! As far as the interior goes it was as pleasant as a laundromat could be. Brightly lit room with clocks on the walls, stocked up vending machine, soap machine, and coin dispenser. Oh and FREE wifi! The cleanliness was far superior than any other laundromat I have been in. The bathroom is kept locked, which I assume is for cleanliness and anti-loitering reasons, but you can easily ask the attendant for the key. Speaking of the attendants, they have great customer service! When I called and while I was there, the attendants were very informative and pleasant. I ended up meeting a very pleasant couple from NYC and we chatted while we handled our laundry. All around I have absolutely no complaints. If I ever need a laundromat... ok, I'll admit I don't have a lot of Laundromat experience, I have been lucky enough to usually have a washer/dryer at my disposal. however when I DO have to use one, I expect more than this. this location was dirty, extremely crowded at 1p on a Tuesday afternoon and strangely laid out. the bathroom was disgusting, trash was overflowing, some of the washers were obviously leaking water and soap out of the front of the machine. there was no attendant on site, no phone number posted for emergencies. I know Laundromats aren't wonderful, but this was truly heinous. I will never go there again...you shouldn't either. pricing was $2 per load wash and $.25 per 7 minutes dryer time. read more
