Dropped laundry off around 8:30am and it was done by early afternoon. They take your phone number and call when it's ready, you pay when you pick up. I was heading back to my place after running around all morning and wanted to call to see if it was ready to save me another trip. When you call the main number, you have to speak your name so the call can be forwarded. This confused me the first two times, but finally I did it and held on. I was connected to the owner who was very nice and helpful. The number doesn't ring to the building. Fortunately he was on his way to the SLO location and said he would check when he got there. I was very close so decided to just go and only had to wait about 5 mins and it was ready. Lady who does it was very helpful and nice. They don't accept Apply Pay, but you can pay for the machines via an app if you are savvy with them. There are also machines to get money if not. It was wonderful to come home and get in dryer-warmed sweats to relax, not to mention having clean clothes for the rest of the trip. A good value, great service and easy parking in their lot.

Located in a strip-mall with a yogurt shop, Subway store, Radio Shack, GNC, CVS, the Grocery Outlet, and the Dollar Tree, Burger King, and several restaurants nearby, customers can do some shopping while their laundry is being done. Parking is pretty good depending on the time and amount of patrons at any given time. The shopping center itself has plenty of parking spaces, nevertheless. There are also carts that can be taken outside of the facility for loading your laundry to and from your car. My wash always comes out clean and the prices seem reasonable for front-load washers. The dryers are large and can handle big loads of clothes at a reasonable price. This is my favorite laundromat in SLO county and the only one I use.

I was denied service stating, "we are closed, last load is at 730pm". If you chose not to allow customers to use your services past 730pm, than anyone with any common sense would know that the hours are 7am-730pm. The lady working there wasn't rude, but very matter of fact and concrete. If you choose to work in customer service, you should be a bit more flexible. Very disappointing!! It's clean enough, but sometimes the floors are full of leaves. There is management onsite sometimes, so they stay on top of machines that are out of order. You can get change here and pay with coins, or use their app, accessible by QR code to pay with your phone. On this day, the QR code wouldn't load for me and I tried several machines. Luckily I had cash. It's not cheap here, but I like the huge machines that get clothes done fast. I can be in & out in about an hour, so laundry is no longer an all day chore. It would be nice to have more places to fold, but I'm not sure where they might fit. They also offer laundering services where they do your laundry. I didn't try those. I was here midday on a Friday, and it was busy but not packed. I was glad there were no children, and other folks were polite and friendly.

I appreciate the different ways you can pay so you don't just have to use quarters. With that said, I do feel like it is a little overpriced than some other laundromats in town. This one is closest to my house so I often opt to pay the extra amount for convenience, but I still go to ones across town half the time I do laundry. I am not a fan of the dryer kiosks. They are not intuitive the first time you use it and I had to ask the employee how I add more than 4 minutes at a time and just pay once, you would think the side to side arrows would change the alotted time, but no, you have to press the green button in the middle. I always set a timer so I can get my clothes right out of the dryer however the past time I did laundry I was disheartened to see that my clothes were already done before my timer went off even though it was set to the exact time. I usually try to use top and bottom dryer of the same column, but due to someone else's laundry already drying in the top dryers, I had to use the bottom dryers...which was fine, but I am wondering now if they used the time I put on my dryer and split it to add to their time? I have done this before to myself. After you start a dry cycle the machine asks if you want to add more time, something like 15 minutes or so, and I pressed it curious to see what would happen and found that it added that time to my clothes in the top dryer. It seems like this system allows others to essentially steal from your time and add it to theirs if you are using the same column of dryers. I would love to see some improvement on the how the dryer operates so its more user friendly and doesn't allow anyone to take your time away.
