I am giving two stars because the flowers were fresh, but the arrangement was absolutely NOT not filled to value - and CLEARLY, they didn't think we'd any better. The roses are big and beautiful, the lily will pop open and be gorgeous. My mom said she had great customer service, talked to a very nice lady on the phone who was excellent. There was a horrible snowstorm, so the delivery was delayed, but they did attempt to make it on the snowy day! I'm glad they were safe and didn't make their delivery driver work go out again. They arrived the next day, the driver called and left them at my door because I didn't answer, sorry! But they were wrapped in plastic to protect them, the card sitting nestled by the roses. I love love love the gal that runs the place...she practically lives there to make things happen for her clients no matter what they need I recently read the rather harsh review by Carlos and kind of thought he was way off base. They offer some plastic wrapped roses and all the other loose flowers to make a bouquet YOURSELF . Price savings...a DIY option. Similar to a grocery store...no one cuts or puts those in a vase there either. While Carlos might think any "monkey" could do what he expected, at certain hours of their business day the staff are high school girls with a couple hours a night to help out and aren't meant to be "designing". Certainly by his tone and word choice he was most likely very intimidating to them. If i had been there when this was happening I would have called him out for bullying these girls. When I want to grab that discount priced item I am getting that great price to do the work at home. When I want the long stem flowers created into a fantastic gift I realize I can have this done when the design staff is there...I got the impression that Carlos expected this shop and perhaps any other to have people there 24/7...that's ridiculous!!! He couldn't walk into a medical facility and have the receptionist give him a check up ... Felly's has a great reputation, and I always find that I receive that high level standard at this shop ...I want my flowers made into a design by someone who excels at design...and I certainly know these young ladies all have different roles in their shop. He wanted something done, but in every successful business, there are rules and protocol for employees so the best product is available for the general public.

Ellie listened to everything they wanted and really understood their vision. She understood their budget and helped them make decisions to fit within their price range. She even picked flowers from her own garden so their bouquets fit that budget. She needed no instruction on their wedding day. She did everything exactly how they asked (or better) and knew when to use her own judgment to make everything beautiful and perfect. Quality was amazing - many of the flowers were still spectacular 2-3 weeks (including the wedding bouquet which spent some time in our refrigerator while they were on their honeymoon) after the wedding date. Since almost all these words are theirs and not mine, I want to add that, the results were spectacular and personal at the same time. She also was very willing to try new things for us (ours was the first wedding she did submerged hydrangeas for and it came out beautifully) and work with materials we brought her (crushed glass, candles, etc).
