On hold so long, finally called back. I had picked out a couple of examples from the website, the person answering was not familiar with their examples on the web. While she was searching, she suggested an arrangement she'd made "the week before" ... I declined the offer, as I preferred "fresh" flowers. She eventually came up with something "similar" to the examples on Felly's web site. Said she could not get them delivered timely the next morning, so we agreed on "this afternoon before five". The location would hold them for me until morning. She never gave me the final amount, I'm estimating $175. The ordering process took over a half hour!! When we arrived at the event the next morning, there were no flowers. I called Felly's and the person said they'd be delivered "this afternoon" .... Which would be after the event! She acknowledged an error had been made and "apologized". I asked if she could get them delivered yet in the morning, but despite their error that was a definite "no". Afternoon, after the event, take it or leave it. I canceled the order. I got a call back and the person acknowledged there had been an error and "apologized". Asked if I still wanted the order...I stuck to the cancellation as the event would be past. The employees didn't seem to understand how the timing could be important. I had originally called a Felly's location near the delivery point. I now believe deliveries are prepared at a central location, so it may be prudent to call their main number. They may have more knowledgeable people, less prone to error and a better chance of getting delivery when agreed upon. Or, you may try a more "hands on" florist for your orders with better product knowledge and care.

However, their cashiers had NO clue about the sales being conducted on perennials and annual flowers. Before the first one rang me up, I reminded her about the sales, then assumed she'd know their percentages. When I got the receipt and saw no discounts taken, I asked again. She realized she "forgot" to apply them. A second cashier studied the receipt, yet doubted I really had bought 3 of things, so I had to ask my husband to go retrieve the box he had already carried out to the car. Neither staffperson could manage to honor the sale prices or figure out how to apply the discounts, so just gave us one plant free out of exasperation. We spent over $100 there. If you go this week (June 9th), snap a shot of their sales signs on your camera so you can "prove" to the cashiers there's a sale on.

I was really nervous about choosing flowers for my wedding. I know nothing about flowers, and I…read morehave heard how quickly the price adds up (especially with how big our bridal party was). My mother-in-law heard about Victoria's Garden from a friend, and since she was paying for the flowers, I was happy to go wherever she wanted. I am so thankful to the person that recommended Victoria's Garden to us. I had no idea what I wanted for flowers, I told Ellie my wedding colors (green and white) and her creativity immediately went to work. We gave her a price range and she made it her mission to stay well under that. I had mentioned a few types of flowers I liked, she told me that they weren't in season and would be more expensive. Instead of just going with those types and charging us more, Ellie found flowers that were in season that were similar to the ones I liked. Everything was perfect on my wedding day. Ellie and her crew showed up before the wedding and put everything together just like we had talked about. None of us even saw them working, it was like we showed up and everything was magically put together. Please go to Victoria's Garden if you're planning a wedding. You will be thoroughly impressed at this gem tucked away in Mount Horeb.

They said (and I agree) that they could not have made a better choice (and there are many florists in the Madison area to choose from). Ellie listened to everything they wanted and really understood their vision. She understood their budget and helped them make decisions to fit within their price range. She even picked flowers from her own garden so their bouquets fit that budget. She needed no instruction on their wedding day. She did everything exactly how they asked (or better) and knew when to use her own judgment to make everything beautiful and perfect. Quality was amazing - many of the flowers were still spectacular 2-3 weeks (including the wedding bouquet which spent some time in our refrigerator while they were on their honeymoon) after the wedding date. Since almost all these words are theirs and not mine, I want to add that, the results were spectacular and personal at the same time. Autumn was a challenge given the types of flowers they most wanted but Ellie made it happen!
