The coffee was good and the sweetness was perfect. The matcha was earthy and not too sweet or not too bitter. The other drink we got was really refreshing! The avocado toast, açai bowl, and bagel were all delectable! The baristas working that day (lady with cat ears and guy with batman costume - great job on voice impression lol) were both very friendly, welcoming, and efficient/effective! I got the cloud 9 latte which is basically a latte with vanilla cold foam. Not too sweet and fulfills the coffee fix. Good for a quick coffee if in the area. Food options include acai and pastries, they also have some pressed juices and smoothies. They use a combination on monin, Torani, and housemate syrups. Pleasant customer service Plenty of parking in a grocery store lot. No public restroom! Very limited barstool seating. They do have wifi. Had a sample of one of their coffees at an event and knew I had to come by to try some of their other lattes. Upon walking in, the barista was friendly and open to answering any and all questions. Ambiance was also great and fit the name of the cafe and its vibes. For the drinks, we got an iced toffee latte and the kepania, which is their version of a spanish latte. I liked the toffee latte more cause it had bits of toffee in it but I also liked the spanish latte as it tasted lighter than the toffee latte. It gave the drinks more of a balance when I started taking sips from both of them. I do really like how the top layer of the lattes were blue, which gives off a great aesthetic. The only downside for me was that the toffee latte lost a good amount of its flavor after some of the ice melted-- some cafes still have a strong coffee taste even after the ice melts & that's usually what I like as far as preference. As for the sunbliss blend smoothie, it definitely had that taste of the 100% real fruit in it and was a refreshing drink to sip on when I walked at the beach. One of the cutest coffee shops that I've been to, i was in town for a conference and my coworker recommended that we try this. We got a few açaí bowls and coffees. Some of the worse matcha I've had. I could taste the powder like it tasted like poor quality gritty culinary grade matcha and the girl made it even twice for me and it was just so bad. Usually I am unfairly biased against maple syrup, but this was crafted to perfection with its ratio of maple sweetness and the robust cold brew richness. Sunbliss hits it out of the park for me. I've been to their original location in Anaheim, and was super excited to hear they opened this location in Newport/CDM. They ranked #23 on Yelp's Top 100 in 2025 so of course I knew I had to swing by. This trip, I picked up their toffee latte and their togarashi avocado toast and, wow!! The toffee latte was on the sweeter side and I couldn't taste much of the spirulina, but overall as a drink it was good! The toast though was SO tasty! The avocados were fresh and creamy, the sauce that came with it complimented the flavors, and overall it was satisfying. The workers there are super friendly and drinks come out fairly quick. It is a smaller shop, so there's not a ton of seating indoor and outdoors. This definitely is more of a grab and go spot. Parking is tricky here because most of it is street parking. The service was quick and the drink was so pretty to look at it with the blue layer on top followed by milk and then the coffee. The blue color was from butterfly pea protein which is all natural.
