It was a little tricky finding their ACE desk at the airport in Minneapolis, but once we did, everything was great! Loved the offsite location as the shuttle bus was waiting for us at the airport and after a short trip, we arrived at their super nice base and given a great car! Upon our return back to ACE after our stay in Minneapolis, everyone was so kind and helpful. The bus took us immediately to the departures location at the airport....stress-free! Thank you, ACE, You are Number one to us!

I made the reservation weeks ago and selected "Manager's Selection" before I knew it would be snowing when I arrived in April. Upon arrival, they insisted on trying to upcharge me $60+ for an AWD vehicle even though their own website and others were suggesting SUV rentals would be less expensive than what I was originally charged. Most rental car companies would insist on upgrading me after selecting "Manager's Selection" when snow was newly on the forecast and AWD vehicles were on hand. The manager proceeded to argue with me by saying that I could book online but I'd have to wait hours for my new reservation to come through their system! She also consistently lied to me saying that the price online was actually more expensive than what I paid. I eventually booked online elsewhere and saved $100 but had to shuttle back to the airport. Will never rent here again.

I had seen the name before, but never really paid much attention to it just because i was unfamiliar with it. This time I decided to chance it, and see what they were all about! Landing at MSP, the station for Payless can be a little tricky to find. After you take the short tram ride, the station is up the FIRST set of escalators and to your left. They're stationed right next to sixt (I think that's how you spell it haha), so if you see them you'll see Payless. Now there won't be an agent there, so you'll have to pick up the phone to arrange your pickup. Payless is located about 5-10 minutes away from the airport, so they provide free shuttle. A few folks claimed that they had waited for a while, but after we called they were there in about 15 mins, so I guess it varies?! Once there everything else is pretty normal. They ask if you want to upgrade and they'll tell you to note any scratches bigger than the size of a 1 dollar bill. Once that's done then you're on your way. Return was easy as well. Shuttle service begins at 4am, so you should be able to make your flight. The agent checks the car to be sure you filled up and then gives the receipt. Be sure to fill up prior to returning the car because they'll charge 10 DOLLARS PER GALLON! YES, GALLON! We had a few folks who forgot to fill upc, and of course they weren't very pleased with the outcome. Overall it was a pretty average experience. Not the best I've had and also not the worst. If they have locations on site, then I would probably use them again considering the cost.

I might convert to Hertz instead of going with National/Enterprise next time unless the selection of cars are better. Kudos to the person giving me a Ford Bronco this week! I'm now a fan!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I booked a car rental at the Hertz Minneapolis-St. Paul…read morelocation for my boyfriend, and when he arrived to pick it up, they refused to give him the car despite us following their own stated policy. Hertz's policy clearly says that a credit or debit card is required at the time of departure for incidental charges. My boyfriend does not have a credit card, so he planned to use his debit card -- which should have been acceptable per their policy. They refused anyway. We then tried multiple reasonable solutions: We asked to change the rental into my name since I was present and had a credit card -- refused. We asked if they could accept my credit card, which I had already used to pay for the rental -- refused. The staff then essentially stopped engaging with us altogether. To make things worse, I tried calling the counter afterward and was left listening to the phone ring for over an hour with no answer before finally giving up. Despite denying us the car, they would not refund the money I paid for the rental. Overall he was there for over 2 hours and left without a car or a refund. This was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced -- rigid, unhelpful, and dismissive. I will never rent from Hertz again.

Then I called first representative basically said fuck you in some half ass English language and the wouldn't do anything . I called back again ( assuming to another country) the gal was a little more helpful and sent me to roadside assistance. This guy was nice but thrifty doesn't own their stores and they couldn't get a local company to exchange for what I paid for. he closed my case and said when you get back to the airport see if they will give you any compensation. so now I have to go to the rental booth instead of just dropping my rental, wait in line for 30min , talk to them for 40min for them to say I can't do that . I know this end game. have played it with other shit company , should have went with reputable company to start with ........ BDC Management is now working under the name Trellis Management and I want to share my opinions…read moreabout how the Trellis Management Team actually works the are quick to post threatening statements in order to make a person feel uncomfortable such as the building is a section 42 and that means the tenants have to have certain rental criteria to sign a lease agreement such as be below a certain level of income now knowing that trellis is a not for profit property management company due to the dot org at the end of their published contract information one would think they would not be as greedy and outrages when a tenant has a issue such as the one I have today my dog got sick in the middle of the night and I somehow misplaced my keys in my house so I call the manager and they don't answer so I call back a few minutes later and they answer then I ask if they can help me out with the issue I have cause my dog has a vet visit I ask them if I can please borrow the extra set of keys cause I have worked in the construction industry all my life I know that when a building is certified for occupancy that a one bedroom apartment has a occupancy limit of two people who each gets a key and if only one person is a lease holder the other set of keys goes into a key locker every single building I've ever been a maintenance or construction worker at has at least one extra key it's an industry standard so I say that to the management and they say that it will cost me one hundred dollars to get a key fob they cost a few dollars to get one replaced but trellis again is not the nonprofit they claim to be cause they will not give in and comport themselves with any sense of empathy or sympathy and if they let you in they charge $75.00 dollars to do that and then let me tell you about the other issues at East-Town apartment on 9th Ave So. They have an attached underground parking garage it has several security cameras and the cars are broken into on a predictable regular basis they will not help you with the security footage cause they have to protect the criminal he has the right to privacy you have to pay for the chance of getting the windows broken out of your car and the card reader system that lets you in and out of the garage is flaky to say the least and they are supposed to be of assistance but they always do the least amount of anything that they can possibly do I guess the for profit nonprofit is really just a prejudice ruse that I think everybody should avoid being treated like they are a source of money cause they don't care about the fact that they are the ones who are renting to lower income people who don't have much extra money since greed flation has become a reality in many people's lives just do yourself a favor and don't even bother with the property management company Trellis cause they genuinely don't care if you are locked out or can't get your car out of the garage cause the owner is a church where they are diverse loving concerned about the welfare of the community around them but they keep getting a property management company that doesn't want to do anything about nothing but price gouge the living Snoot out of the people who are paying their bills now I am sure that I can figure out what I did with my keys but between now and then they are not going to be able to do anything until I give them the money that if I could give them my money I would but I'm currently working on getting some certifications for my job and I'm only getting paid half my salary until I get done with this new training that is being paid for by my job so money is slightly tight at the moment and I was hoping to be able to sign a new lease for a year cause I like the location of the property but the management company makes me feel like they don't want me to do that because they don't value my money so eventually I'm going to be moving to a different place and hopefully the problems that trellis fosters don't follow me to the next place I live I have lost my willingness to live in a building that has a greedy non responsive onsite management company and one last thing the corridors are air conditioning but they don't want the corridors to be tempature controlled they turned off all the ac for my floor I have asked for them to fix it but they claim that the part is not available yet several times a week I see brand new buildings that are able to fix issues like this cause I'm a HVAC installed service person so they are embellishing the fact that the parts are not available if the parts are not working correctly then they should try to replace it with a different brand there for sure is parts that can be used to turn on the air I mean when you open the door and walk into the corridors it's like getting punched cause the air is stale and it is hot as h e double toothpicks and management doesn't have the ability to turn on the air
