Probably decent, but apparently the drivers/owners that think they're so entitled that they can park AND leave the vehicle in a "Loading / Dropoff Only" area and refuse to move 2-3 ft so the rest of the medical transportation drivers in the lane can actually utilize the space it's meant to be used for. Terrible medical transportation company. Had a ride scheduled for today. I called to make sure they were coming and I wasnt in their system. Had to find alternative ride very quickly. The last time I used this company, the driver screamed at me and threatened to put me out on the side of the highway. There needs to be more oversight for some of the medical transportation companies. They are pretty terrible and folks with disabilities need better care. read more

If you are planning to use this company for rides to and from medical appointments, I highly advise you to think otherwise. Today was my 2nd scheduled ride with them to bring me to physical therapy. My appt is at 1:45 they are scheduled to pick me up at 12:45. I was picked up today at 1:20 at the end of my driveway which is at a huge angle, furthest I have had to walk with my cane since driver would not pull into driveway and my ride should have said needs assistance with walker. The driver went in route the opposite direction to pick up another rider and drop her off at a medical clinic, after she got her into the building and back out to the van it is now 1:48. my appointment started 3 minutes ago and I am across town. I am asking her what we should do now since I am late to appt and she either did not understand english or was ignoring me. I called my clinic to let them know that I was a full 15 minutes away now and was told my appointments are only 1/2 hour long, but the time I could get there I would practically need a ride by home so we had to cancel the appointment. Driver with her broken english drove me back home. Last ride I was a few minutes late driver was scheduled to pick me up at 9:15 and driver arrived at my home at 10:08. So I needed to call my clinic then also to say I would be late. I decided I will need to schedule uber drivers for my next appointments as this company (that my ins covers) is too unreliable, I cancelled all the appointments and asked to speak with a manager she came on and right away too was rude with me saying this is a once in a lifetime type thing, then I said this is the 2nd appt I have been late for in past 4 days because of them, she yelled at me that I was talking over her and she does not appreciate that in any way, and from then out I had fire coming out of me and said goodbye. Unless you are okay with companies that treat vulnerable adults as less than human, do not work with MIK limo/transportation. I was visiting a family member at his assisted living when I witnessed an MIK driver drop off another elderly resident at the facility. The facility has two sets of sliding glass doors before the lobby. The driver stood with one foot inside the first set and shoved the resident's wheelchair into the building rather than pushing her all the way inside. The shove was so hard that the woman, unable to stop herself, ran into the front desk. The driver did nothing and turned around. I walked outside and confronted him about this, and he literally shrugged, said "ok...", and got back in the van. I then called the number on the van to report the same incident and was met with the exact same indifference. Even if you do not plan on utilizing this company for transportation of an elderly, disabled, or vulnerable person, do not support this company. read more

Do not fall for this company as being a 'limo' service. They are a transportation company with 'nicer' vans than regular medical transportation companies. If you are just going in and out to your appointment or wherever they are bringing you and it doesn't take more than 20 minutes, they will wait for you and drive you back to your original destination you were picked up from. That's the good part. The bad part is that they are ALWAYS LATE, unless the drive is native american or white which is very rare. They are usually russian and the russian women are absolutely rude and act like they are better than you and the russian men are always atleast an hour late. They say that their appointment time frame to pick you up is 15 minutes, but they are never on time, close to being on time, or ever on time unless it is the native american fellow or the older white gentleman. They are also scheduled to pick me up on saturdays and they never show up on saturdays. They fail to let you know they are running late or they won't be there to pick you up. Some days they pick you up and other days you don't get picked up at all. They are a completely unreliable transportation company, and they charge our healthcare companies the most out of transportation plus or blueride. The only upside to this company is that they do have pretty nice vans like the new Chrysler pacifica roadtripper van, but I've only been picked up in that once, and my insurance company has been using MIK for the past 4-6 months. When you call the main line to ask when the driver will be here, the guy who answers the phone is completely rude, acts like you're a huge inconvenience to his life, and that his company is never in the wrong and that you're always in the wrong. If I had the choice of who my medical company choses to go through, it would NOT be MIK. read more

I was recently in Minnesota for a business trip and I came across this company when I was walking out of my hotel. I was staying at the Best Western which shares the same parking lot and I noticed the awesome Mercedes limo. The gentleman showed me the ins and outs of his limo and also showed me the black range rover limousine. I was impressed how I was not even a customer yet and he went out of his way to show me the limos. I know my limousines and I have to say that these cars were incredibly clean and well taken care of. After my little tour I decided to actually book a ride to the airport for the next day. I ordered the standard airport Cadillac limousine but the company sent us a beautiful Bentley. I was shocked and excited but of course I told him I couldn't afford the Bentley rate. They said no worries the Cadillac I booked was going over in time on another trip so they sent that car to get me to the airport on time. Wow..I loved it! Highly recommend, worth checking out and using this mom and pop business. read more

Michael, For the most part the experience was really nice but after the first stop when we got back in the limo my wife pointed out to me that there were two water bottles full of urine on the floor next to where we were sitting. That really should not have been part of the birthday surprise I worked so hard to plan. It's especially dissapointing due to the fact that just 30 minutes earlier we had the driver bring us down the street to the public bathroom prior to our 30 minute helicopter tour at the Anoka airport. So it isn't like there wasn't any place to go. I understand that leaving those bottles in the car was probably an honest mistake but the fact of the matter is I had to deal with it in the moment and it was disappointing. Brian read more

As a bride to be just about everything stressed me out but this company was easy to work with- I had zero problems with booking, punctuality, the driver, the vehicle- everything was great. Our driver did a great job of being patient with our large party and listening to only me or my husband (bride and groom) despite 17 other people wanting to party- yelling directions at him and asking for different stops. My only complaint is that they had champagne glasses on the wall in the limo- which people obviously used and then set in cupholders which are too large to hold so soon as we took a turn a number of them fell. We were charged for replacing a few of them at $10 per glass which is fine but it would've been nice to have the option to not have those glasses in the first place or to have been called before the replacement charge was placed on the card. read more

He was very attentive to our needs and made sure we enjoyed the entire experience. HORRIBLE - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! Don't take the chance and ruin your day. They will be responsive as you are making the reservation but after it is booked and you have already given them your Credit Card, they are rude and their driver was rude from the moment he picked us up. Driver got upset because our pictures took longer than expected so upon everyone getting in the bus, the driver slammed on the gas and jerked the vehicle hard back and forth as he sped out of the Church Parking lot. My wife was slammed against the wall of the vehicle along with 3 other bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen spilled drinks on their tuxedos. It was clear he was driving erratically on purpose. My groomsmen felt the need to confront him since it was so bad and his response was to start yelling at them... I was completely humiliated. My wife nearly started crying on her Wedding day. From the moment he picked us up he was rude, he got upset quickly because one of my groomsmen simply wanted to switch the Blue Tooth pairing from one phone to another to play different music. He seemed annoyed at simply having to exist. I shared all of this with the person who booked my reservation via email. That same person who responded quickly to make the reservation has now not responded to my complaint in over a week. All I received was an additional bill/receipt for the extra charges being our pictures ran late.... I generally don't bother writing a review unless it's positive but I wouldn't want anyone else to have this happen to them. read more

i was getting information about there service after reading the reviews and checking out the website and when i contacted them to confirm the price because of the distance they felt that I need to pay an additional 2 hours of drive time and when I asked about the additional charge because it was not listed any where on there website that they do not travel outside the twin cites Micheal send a very rude email in all caps stating that they are not only a downtown service but it takes 52 min to get to me so they feel the need to charge me extra. We booked two cars for our daughters wedding 7 months in advance. One driver was fabulous. The other would not listen to the schedule the wedding planner wanted to go over with him. The first group was suppose to go 6 blocks to the ceremony, he was heading to Eagan from St Paul. When he was taking our group from the ceremony to the reception he was heading the wrong way, I asked where he was going, he rudely said 'I drive this route all day long I know where I am going'. He took us onto the interstate in rush hour, then when he exited he asked where he was suppose to go. Took us a lot longer than the other two route options. When I called the owner to discuss with him he said that it was OUR fault because we had a wedding planner and they always screw things up. I explained that plans change and that was why the wedding planner was trying to talk to him. He basically defended his drivers incompetency but said he would talk to him about being rude. I was a little shocked at his attitude being a business owner and I said it was good to know that he really didn't care for future reference. He went off on me and said it was a free country and I could go somewhere else next time. No worries would never use this company again. Unbelievable for what we paid them!! read more
