Great Walmart, I found a black polo, 1 left in my size! And I got some black slip on tennis shoes…read more I also needed a black belt and it had to have a silver buckle. Work is so Wierd with their dress code. But I was happy to get it all and get it all in my SIZE, at this location. Thx Walmart.

Walmart Southaven, MS (6811 Southcrest) Congratulations, you've hit rock bottom in customer…read moreservice. All I wanted was PAINT. But apparently, paint here is locked up like Fort Knox. Manager Tina, an illiterate sorry excuse for a manager who proudly tells me she has no way of knowing if staff even came to work, no way to page an associate to determine who has the "keys" to the paint, and no way to unlock products that customers are literally trying to buy. And when I pressed further? At 9:14 PM, while the store is OPEN and the paint is sitting right there for purchase, her response was: "Oh, buying paint at this time?" I can't help and walked off. Excuse me? The store is open, the products are here, and that's your answer? Ignorance at its best. How many customers have NOT been able to purchase products, because the associates with the keys is invisible? Sadly, this is what consumers are forced to deal with until we start taking a stand when spending our money. Walmart this level of incompetence is shameful. Is this really the "leadership" representing your brand? Leadership is led by example. Leave them subordinates alone because Tina definitely not directing, supervising, or ensuring they even came to work!

I should've taken the hint before I even got out of the truck…read more It was raining on and off, and there were 30+ carts left outside, completely unattended and wet. That alone reflects a breakdown in basic store operations. I went in around 7:20 PM, and things didn't improve. The biggest issue was in the herb section. The refrigerated case had no mint available, but what stood out more was how the herbs were being handled. There was a dry display (properly labeled for rosemary), but it was being used as an overflow area for multiple packaged herbs. To be clear: Basil (especially with roots/soil) can be held at room temperature Live herbs with soil can be displayed dry. However, what I observed were packaged fresh-cut herbs being stored in dry, unrefrigerated conditions, which directly impacts quality. As shown in the photos: Multiple herb packages were brown, wilted, and deteriorating Product was being held outside of proper temperature control This was clearly improper storage--not just overflow. I spoke with a stock employee who was actively working produce and had a case of herbs: He confirmed there was no mint available. He stated the dry display was being used for overflow. At that point, it's clear this is not a supply issue--it's a handling and rotation failure. There was inventory present--but much of it was already unsellable due to poor storage practices. Now let's talk checkout... This store has 24 registers, and not a single cashier open. Every customer--regardless of order size--was forced into self-checkout, with only two employees trying to manage everything. Let's be real--customers are not employees. We were not: Interviewed Hired Trained Or issued a W-2 Self-checkout should be an option--not the only option. This visit exposed major issues in: Exterior cart management (30+ carts left out in the rain) 1. Proper storage of perishable herbs (dry vs refrigerated handling) 2. Product quality control 3. Inventory rotation (FIFO breakdown) 4. Staffing and front-end operations Kroger has the infrastructure--but this location is failing in execution and management oversight. Do better.

I stopped shopping at this store last year after the cashier at the gas station ran my debit card…read morethree times and charged me $50, without refunding me. I disputed the charge, and my bank eventually credited my account. Today, March 22 at 2:38pm., I was appalled by the amount of trash around the entrance--so much so that it resembled a dumpster. I touched five shopping carts that were broken. Despite this, I proceeded into the store to pick up a few items and encountered the Assistant Manager. Although he had a name tag, I regret not asking for his name. I explained the situation and showed him the trash outside the store. Not just the parking lot, but the area as you enter. The five carts I tested were all broken. He responded, "We have tried, but it's our demographic." I was stunned by his attitude. I walked away, and he made no effort to address the mess. Instead, he blamed the shoppers--who pay his salary and bonuses--for the state of the store. It's unacceptable that Kroger manages different-quality managers and services based on zip code. Instead of wasting money on new exterior signage, the store should hire managers who genuinely care. I am disgusted by this Manager's vile comment in today's climate and by his complacency, knowing nothing will change because of his prejudiced views towards customers. This is shameful. Debra S
