Pizza was great-not too strong, not overly oily or greasy, with good crust. Ted, the owner was particularly affable. This was our first visit but we'll be back. read more

Another 5 Star Review. Still the best eggplant parmigiana with linguine and chicken scaloppini with zitti this side of Milano! read more

I've been here a few times and the food is good, but the staff are even better. One of the few places in Bryn Mawr where I felt the staff really take care of the customers just from conversing. It's the main reason people keep coming back, because this is the type of place you want in your community. Large menu, so people always can find something to enjoy. Wings, cheesesteaks, pizza, hoagies... I've never been disappointed. read more

Sun valley pizza is incredible - both the deliciousness of its pizza and the sweetness of its chefs and staff. Their menu is extensive including hoagies, cheesesteaks, salads and more. It's a family run business and you can feel that kindness and love - you feel like guests in their home. We came in for a slice, which they do midday but they generously offered to make us a small pie quick. We ordered the veggie small (by the way- they make every pizza up on a wheat and gluten free as well) and in minutes out perfect little pie was ready. It was like nothing we ever ate. The crust was amazing! It had a very thin but sturdy, crisp, and perfectly baked base with a fluffy toasty top. For me, and every pizza chef I've discussed this with, the crust is the key and there's was a slam dunk. It was covered with fresh and perfectly cooked al dente broccoli, zucchini, squash and spinach which was laced between lots of melted fresh mozzarella cheese and yet it didn't taste heavy or greasy at all! How did they do that? They are true artisans and so humble. It was a perfect dinner in a perfect spot. They treat their customers like family and you can feel that loving energy in their smiles and in their food. We sprinkled some pepper flakes for a bit of spice - yum!! We will definitely come again!! So grateful - thank you, you made our day! read more

Sun Valley Pizza - Sun valley pizza slice - Pizza Near Me - Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania

Just picked up our pizzas, wrong order - despite my daughter questioning the order. my daughter asked and they confirmed.

Pizzas are great, but you have to order extra sauce. Very friendly staff. Park at the Gulf gas station.

Was starving after dropping my bike off for routine tuneup. Saw this on google and stopped by for two slices. Will be back! Very expensive slices but worth! read more

I looked at the menu in the store and a large pizza was priced at $15.75. When I got the bill it was for $24.33, not itemized. I asked and the answer I got was "those menus are old - all the prices have changed". I didn't argue as my pizza would have gotten cold but I left feeling cheated. read more

This place is a true gem. Great pies, one of the best cheesesteaks on the main line, and their eggplant parm is outstanding. Like many others have mentioned, the owner is the greatest. 5 out of 5. No question. read more

This place is fantastic, the best cheesesteaks in the area and wings were on point. I think I found my new "go to" spot, highly recommend!

I have always enjoyed the pizza at Sun Valley, but recently I have tried the chicken Milanese sandwich. It was fantastic.

First time trying this place but it was good! Super friendly staff and pizza slices are huge. Definitely worth it.

My son and I made a special trip to The Bakery House, from Philadephia, for some treats from our favorite bakery. We were hungry for a late lunch and noticed Sun Valley Pizza up the block. What a great decision! The proprietor greeted us warmly and I asked for some of his favoite things on the menu. My son had a cheesesteak and I went the healthier route with the grilled chicken Florentine sub. The shop is bright and has lots of seating. We enjoyed our delicious food while watching the Olympics and chatting with the owner. I truly wish that both businesses would open in the city but I'd definitely make a trip to Bryn Mawr to support these wonderful small businesses. read more

Hands down, the worst chicken cheesesteak I've ever gotten in my life. Very little meat. Chicken is not shaved. Same thing with the cheesesteak. Save your money and drive to Roxborough if you're in the mood for a cheesesteak after 6:00 PM. read more

I got the cheesesteak. I really wanted to love Sun Valley. The cheesesteak looked amazing. It looked like they toast the roll which I love. The 1st bite didn't taste as great as I was expecting and I lost my mojo. My cousin loves Sun Valley so I will give them another try. read more

Have been ordering from Sun Valley for a few years. The food is consistently on point and the owner is a super nice guy. We love everything we get there, from the pizzas to wings and sandwiches!! Truly a great spot in the neighborhood!! read more

Love the new Pizza shop in Bryn Mawr! Not that the place is new, but the owners are and they are doing a great job IMHO! They took over Pizza Palace and we are very happy with them! The owners of Pizza Palace scorned their customers when they started pushing for billboards on their building. Nothing any of the locals are interested in, as I can attest to myself. Sad to be at odds with a local business, but when one door closes another opens...For Sun Valley Pizza! We have been ordering their pizzas and salads regularly, along with the soup, which is quite good! I've also had a couple strombolis here and the grilled chicken sandwich was tasty as well! Thin crust pizza, quite good. I take mine well done and they do a good job of crisping the pie without burning it. Prices are in line with the main line, just a bit high, but we are happy with the value, quantity, and quality. The guys that run the shop are fantastic. Great customer service skills, very friendly and proud of their product. Stop in and try a slice, see what you think. Nice TV and aquarium inside for your viewing pleasure! read more

We have lived in the area for just over one year and this is the best pizza place that we have found so far. Some of their speciality pizzas were very creative and impressive. This will now be our go to pizza place. read more

We had a DELICIOUS lunch: a caesar salad and a Mediterranean wrap. The owner/chef and wife operate this gem. The place is sparking clean with a beautiful fish tank! All food is FRESH and YUMMY! Owners were welcoming and pleasant. We will be back! read more

Great food and service!! The staff is very friendly and always courteous and smiling!

Positives first. This place makes very good pizza. If that's all you get there, you should be happy. I especially like their sausage pepper and onion. We do drive past two other pizza shops on our way there when ordering just pizza. Now for the negatives. The size of their pizzas I think are on the small side. Their large is the size of a medium from other places. Their wings are not very good. They're usually over cooked and not very fresh. It tastes like they've kept batches of them sitting under heat all day so they're easy to add to an order quickly. Bottom line - good but small pizza, bad wings. read more

Great Pizza. Classic staple pizza shop of the Main Line. Located in Bryn Mawr,PA (Across the street from the Acme). No masks required .

Love these people at sun valley pizza! Food is good the burgers are crazy and the pizzas are great as well! Delivery is fast and efficient and the customer service is great!! read more

I went here one afternoon for lunch with a friend. We both ordered club sandwiches. I got the turkey club and I It came with dill pickles which were yummy. They didn't have white bread or wheat bread which I thought was strange because they are located next to a fresh bread bakery and across the street from an Acme. I orders the club with rye bread. The sandwich was huge. The turkey breast was on the dry side and it wasn't the best club I've had. If I'm in the area in a pinch I'd go again. read more

Really disappointing. The "large pizza" was small. And the Philly cheesesteak was dry. Everything tasted mediocre and it was not cheap either. Not interested in returning. read more

Used to always stop there when my job location was in Bryn Mawr. The guy who owns the places always greats and serves his food with a smile. Need to stop by for a slice, the next time I am in the Bryn Mawr area. read more

This place would be much better if my food didn't smell like cigarettes. Every time the driver pulls up k can see him smoking. Time and place, and not right before handling my food. Other than that it's good. read more

I eat here all the time. Pizza here is great, and the cheesesteak options aren't bad either. Prices are above average, but the owners are extremely friendly and I see plenty of folks doing pickup orders from here. I kinda wish I didn't have to see Fox News on their Tv screen every time I came in, but I guess that's a small price to pay for good food. My personal fave is the Wai Ki Ki pizza or the California White. A lot of the pizzas are saturated with veggies, so I feel less bad about cramming an entire one down my throat in one sitting. Their bacon cheese fries are also fantastic! read more

First time ordered custom large pizza, was good, and delivery arrived quicker than expected. Looking forward to trying other items next time. read more

We have ordered pizza from here for a few years now and are fans. However, the last time we went in to pick our order, one of the people behind the counter was not wearing a mask. This is very risky for that person, the other people who work there, and patrons. It's a huge sign of disrespect for the customers and employees. Plus, mask wearing is the law. Plus, especially as the numbers spike again in our county. For those of us who have lost loved ones, we definitely will not be going back until after we're vaccinated, if ever. We'll be going to Felicia's Pizza Kitchen in Ardmore from now on. read more

Like the burger. Juicy beef. The portion is really big too. But too much for me. I only eat half of them which makes me so full .will come back read more

Great food and the nicest people work here... great spot for kids. I would recommend the chicken salad wrap as well as the chicken salad... They are both great choices. They also have a large menu. This place is seriously great for kids. read more

We have been ordering pizzas and salads from SunValley when they were originally in Narberth and then moving to Bryn Mawr. There ingredients are always fresh delish crust and toppings are generously distributed on every pizza The gourmet pizzas have creative delish combos It's fun try new ones never disappointed We drive 2 towns over to get their pies Worth every minute We highly recommend! read more

I ordered takeout from Sun Valley the other day. I had a Cheesesteak and an order of fries. The cheesesteak meat was chopped nicely and the cheese was mixed in with the meat. The roll was great. It was similar to the rolls that they used in South Philadelphia at some of the famous Cheesesteak spots. The french fries were nothing special but I expected nothing more. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and had a brief conversation with me while I was paying. Overall good food and quick and friendly service. read more

Tonight we ordered The Monterey (Pepperoni, Artichoke Hearts, Mushrooms) and the Pepperoni, Ham, & Bacon pizzas. Both were excellent, crust was perfect. From the outside the place looks non-descript, just another pizza joint. Inside it was clean, bright, and cheery with a big fish tank. Pro tip: Ordering online cost extra. You'll save $2 per pizza if you call the order in yourself. read more

Sun Valley never disappoints. In my experiences, the staff is always friendly, and the food is great. My personal favorite are their Chicken Cheesteaks with Mushroom, Provelone, and topped with mayo. The Pizza is thin crust, and wings are nice as well. read more

We just moved to town, and chose Sun Valley more or less at random. New town, new pizza joint, right? No need to try anywhere else. read more

Ordered delivery and they were on time and kind. But... I got a plain pizza and they use way too much oregano in the red sauce, and the cheese steak bread was a bit too rough... I remember someone told me this place had good pasta dishes when they were located in Narberth. I only went there once back then. Now that they moved, I have been there quite a few times. Everything I have ordered was prepared well with fresh ingredients and their delivery service was also very efficient. read more
