Just picked up our pizzas, wrong order - despite my daughter questioning the order. my daughter asked and they confirmed.

Sun valley pizza is incredible - both the deliciousness of its pizza and the sweetness of its chefs and staff. Their menu is extensive including hoagies, cheesesteaks, salads and more. It's a family run business and you can feel that kindness and love - you feel like guests in their home. We came in for a slice, which they do midday but they generously offered to make us a small pie quick. We ordered the veggie small (by the way- they make every pizza up on a wheat and gluten free as well) and in minutes out perfect little pie was ready. It was like nothing we ever ate. The crust was amazing! It had a very thin but sturdy, crisp, and perfectly baked base with a fluffy toasty top. For me, and every pizza chef I've discussed this with, the crust is the key and there's was a slam dunk. It was covered with fresh and perfectly cooked al dente broccoli, zucchini, squash and spinach which was laced between lots of melted fresh mozzarella cheese and yet it didn't taste heavy or greasy at all! How did they do that? They are true artisans and so humble. It was a perfect dinner in a perfect spot. They treat their customers like family and you can feel that loving energy in their smiles and in their food. We sprinkled some pepper flakes for a bit of spice - yum!! I have always enjoyed the pizza at Sun Valley, but recently I have tried the chicken Milanese sandwich. It was fantastic.

First time trying this place but it was good! Super friendly staff and pizza slices are huge. Definitely worth it.

I looked at the menu in the store and a large pizza was priced at $15.75. When I got the bill it was for $24.33, not itemized. I asked and the answer I got was "those menus are old - all the prices have changed". I didn't argue as my pizza would have gotten cold but I left feeling cheated. read more

My son and I made a special trip to The Bakery House, from Philadephia, for some treats from our favorite bakery. We were hungry for a late lunch and noticed Sun Valley Pizza up the block. What a great decision! The proprietor greeted us warmly and I asked for some of his favoite things on the menu. My son had a cheesesteak and I went the healthier route with the grilled chicken Florentine sub. The shop is bright and has lots of seating. We enjoyed our delicious food while watching the Olympics and chatting with the owner. Love the new Pizza shop in Bryn Mawr! Not that the place is new, but the owners are and they are doing a great job IMHO! They took over Pizza Palace and we are very happy with them! The owners of Pizza Palace scorned their customers when they started pushing for billboards on their building. Nothing any of the locals are interested in, as I can attest to myself. Sad to be at odds with a local business, but when one door closes another opens...For Sun Valley Pizza! We have been ordering their pizzas and salads regularly, along with the soup, which is quite good! I've also had a couple strombolis here and the grilled chicken sandwich was tasty as well! Thin crust pizza, quite good. I take mine well done and they do a good job of crisping the pie without burning it. Prices are in line with the main line, just a bit high, but we are happy with the value, quantity, and quality. The guys that run the shop are fantastic. Positives first. This place makes very good pizza. If that's all you get there, you should be happy. I especially like their sausage pepper and onion. We do drive past two other pizza shops on our way there when ordering just pizza. Now for the negatives. The size of their pizzas I think are on the small side. Their large is the size of a medium from other places. Their wings are not very good. They're usually over cooked and not very fresh. It tastes like they've kept batches of them sitting under heat all day so they're easy to add to an order quickly. Bottom line - good but small pizza, bad wings. read more

I went here one afternoon for lunch with a friend. We both ordered club sandwiches. I got the turkey club and I It came with dill pickles which were yummy. They didn't have white bread or wheat bread which I thought was strange because they are located next to a fresh bread bakery and across the street from an Acme. I orders the club with rye bread. The sandwich was huge. The turkey breast was on the dry side and it wasn't the best club I've had. If I'm in the area in a pinch I'd go again. read more

I eat here all the time. Pizza here is great, and the cheesesteak options aren't bad either. Prices are above average, but the owners are extremely friendly and I see plenty of folks doing pickup orders from here. I kinda wish I didn't have to see Fox News on their Tv screen every time I came in, but I guess that's a small price to pay for good food. My personal fave is the Wai Ki Ki pizza or the California White. A lot of the pizzas are saturated with veggies, so I feel less bad about cramming an entire one down my throat in one sitting. We have ordered pizza from here for a few years now and are fans. However, the last time we went in to pick our order, one of the people behind the counter was not wearing a mask. This is very risky for that person, the other people who work there, and patrons. It's a huge sign of disrespect for the customers and employees. Plus, mask wearing is the law. Plus, especially as the numbers spike again in our county. For those of us who have lost loved ones, we definitely will not be going back until after we're vaccinated, if ever. I ordered takeout from Sun Valley the other day. I had a Cheesesteak and an order of fries. The cheesesteak meat was chopped nicely and the cheese was mixed in with the meat. The roll was great. It was similar to the rolls that they used in South Philadelphia at some of the famous Cheesesteak spots. The french fries were nothing special but I expected nothing more.
