I would rank this the best spray tan I've ever gotten for 3 reasons. 1. There was so smell afterwards OR at all in the days after. I've never had this as a spray tan girlie. I'm just used to that spoiled bitter undertone smell on day 1 up to like day 3. I just accept it. 2. They offer a powder puff after to fill in crevices that can get sticky. I hate the sticky feeling more than anything. I did a light dusting all over my body of this stuff and did not suffer at all. I'm used to suffering after and esp during sleep that night. It was heaven!! 3. Almost no color transfer onto the white bed sheets. The faintest bit of color that no one else would have noticed. My concerns: The instructor was very loud and rude to students both times I was there. Since I was there later in the day, it seemed like she was rushing to get services finished up so she could go home. I was shocked to hear how she spoke to one student and how she spoke about a client who had just left. While I understand this is a school, there were a few different questionable sanitation issues that came up during my service and I left feeling concerned that I may have had dirty tools used on me during my service.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but if I drive almost 30 minutes to get there, where walk-ins are welcome and no appointment needed, then I should be able to trust that I can have a service done (a 5 minute eyebrow wax) during their hours of operation. I can understand if it was right before closing time but this was not the case. I think it's fair to expect that if I show up during their posted hours that I can get service. I am not one to complain about the waiting, as that is expected in a place where walk-ins are welcome; however if you say you are open then there is no reason I should be turned away. I refuse to go to a place where I can't trust that I can even be seen until I get there. I can just as easily go to my nail salon to get what I needed, and from now on that is exactly what I will do. I came to Jules for the first time after seeing a special they were running on their website. I was to get a haircut, style, and partial highlights for $65! Reese was my stylist and she was super sweet and did a great job on my hair. Despite confirming with them on Facebook messenger that I would be getting the partial highlight with the free haircut and style, I was charged $95 at checkout. Their website indicates that it is a flat rate of $65 for this special. This was my first time ever getting highlights, and I was not informed of the $30 in additional charges until after it was all done. They were closing so I paid the charges and left. The next day, my husband called and politely explained the situation, and asked if the extra $30 could be refunded. We explained that the highlights were good, just that Jules has misleading prices listed on their website. It should have said prices starting at $65 - not appear to be a flat rate. At the least, any additional foils or products should have been communicated to me before putting them in my hair so that I could decide whether to get them. Instead, I did not get that choice. We spoke on the phone with Julie, the owner and master Stylist, and she begrudgingly agreed to give us a refund. When my husband dropped by the store on his way home from work to get the refund, Julie was rude and raised her voice during their interaction. She said that we made it to be where Reese only got $15 for working for three hours on my hair, and that they do not want our business anymore. I gave Reese a generous tip for her work. It is not up to me how much the stylists get paid. I should expect to be charged what was advertised on their website and confirmed to me in writing. If Jules wants to post specials on their website to get people in the door, they need to be up front about what they will charge people. All in all, I would not recommend going to Jules. I have never met a business owner that was so rude and unprofessional. As a business owner, I am shocked at how she handled the situation by raising her voice and the rude things she said.
