I don't usually write reviews for places, but really felt the need to share my experience with the management and misleading special. I came to Jules for the first time after seeing a special they were running on their website. I was to get a haircut, style, and partial highlights for $65! Reese was my stylist and she was super sweet and did a great job on my hair. Despite confirming with them on Facebook messenger that I would be getting the partial highlight with the free haircut and style, I was charged $95 at checkout. Their website indicates that it is a flat rate of $65 for this special. This was my first time ever getting highlights, and I was not informed of the $30 in additional charges until after it was all done. They were closing so I paid the charges and left. The next day, my husband called and politely explained the situation, and asked if the extra $30 could be refunded. We explained that the highlights were good, just that Jules has misleading prices listed on their website. It should have said prices starting at $65 - not appear to be a flat rate. At the least, any additional foils or products should have been communicated to me before putting them in my hair so that I could decide whether to get them. Instead, I did not get that choice. We spoke on the phone with Julie, the owner and master Stylist, and she begrudgingly agreed to give us a refund. When my husband dropped by the store on his way home from work to get the refund, Julie was rude and raised her voice during their interaction. She said that we made it to be where Reese only got $15 for working for three hours on my hair, and that they do not want our business anymore. I gave Reese a generous tip for her work. It is not up to me how much the stylists get paid. I should expect to be charged what was advertised on their website and confirmed to me in writing. If Jules wants to post specials on their website to get people in the door, they need to be up front about what they will charge people. All in all, I would not recommend going to Jules. I have never met a business owner that was so rude and unprofessional. As a business owner, I am shocked at how she handled the situation by raising her voice and the rude things she said. With this experience and the fact that their prices are misleading, I would not recommend Jules. There are many other great hair salons in town. read more

The owner Jules is beyond unprofessional. It was almost comedic how she was acting - like out of a movie. She overcharged us when we went in for a special, and then told us "we just want something for nothing" when we inquired why the bill was significantly higher than the advertised special. Then she said "we don't want your business here anyway" as she refunded us the extra amount. The whole times she was giving us the most disgusting looks. I've been going to Jules' salon for years now and I absolutely love it. I see Michelle and she never disappoints. She's also got a great energy and personality, so it's always nice just catching up with her. They recently moved to a salon next door and it's gorgeous. You can shop and get your hair done and that shampoo room is so relaxing. Go ask for Michelle, you won't be disappointed. read more

Very poor service. The owner does not stand by her work. I would honestly find somewhere else. Not worth the money nor frustration or tears this place brings. If you want the owners daughter to call and harass you after you leave a review then yes please go here. I'm shocked to see anything less than a 5-Star review!! I completely believe the responses by the owner. If a client uses box color and wants a miracle fix, I know Jules will never promise an outcome or something they cannot deliver. I've been a client of this salon for several years. I've left when stylists have left and have tried other salons in the area, but I've gone back to Jules every time because: they are consistent and they care about keeping their clients. Consistency matters to me. I've lived here over 20 years and have spent a lot of $$ on my hair. I believe if you pay $40-50 for a haircut/style, it should include a shampoo, scalp massage and blow out/style. You should ALWAYS get that massage and everything that's included. Too many stylists think after you become their client they don't have to give you the full scalp massage, style blow out and extras they always give that very first appointment because they have you!! They now think it's OK to rush through your appointment. Inevitably they have their next client waiting, which has happened to me so many times. The price should be adjusted when corners are cut and services are left out. I've seriously left with damp hair because a stylist was so nervous about her next client waiting...I just offered to leave and I also never went back. So I know at Jules that I'll get everything that I've come to enjoy -- I won't feel like I'm being pushed through, rushed, and that I'll get that full massage and I feel like a valued client. I do not recommend going to the hair salon. The owner did my hair and it looked 3 different colors so I called and got my money back. Now there owners daughter is calling me on a restricted number harassing me and threatened to come to my boyfriends house cause I wanted my money back and cause I missed 2 appointments cause I had plans come up that I couldnt miss. So if you wanted to get harassed then I suggest going to this place. read more

Found this salon online and am happy I did. Heather is excellent and gives a really good cut. Shop is clean, and staff is professional.
